You can choose it to be anything, if you increase its strength and hardness you can even go towards the attack or defence direction, increasing its range you can even go towards control or support category. When Tang san heard this, he was shocked, disbelieving the words he has heard. As this was the day that his dad had actually taken the time to explain these stuff to him and in his own way is actually consoling him. Smirking at his current success he then continued listening.

"It's still early so let's get moving the creatures in the night are quite dangerous so we have to get this done by today. I'll be leading the way, but Xiao San I want you to keep an eye out on the surroundings as well, so don't slack off.

Tang hao then led the way, scouting out ahead for any dangerous spirit beasts but he still kept a close distance from him so that he could come back if anything happens. While moving along they met a few 10-year-old spirit beasts but they just avoided them and moved ahead.

There were a few beasts which tried to attack them but were easily taken care of by Tang hao.

Soon as they were going in towards the forest they were able to encounter beasts in the 100-years range they were able to find plant type spirit beasts but even Tang San wasn't interested in the abilities they offered him.

There were a few which gave him some poisonous abilities but he ignored them as their poison was too weak for his use and also their age was too less for him to gain anything out of it. Soon they encountered a devil vine which was in the 400-year range but Tang San didn't want that as his first ring so he decided to choose another spirit beast.

They were able to soon get into a swamp area in the forest, where they became extremely alert since they didn't know when they would get attacked from the muddy waters. While going through the swamp Tang San saw some movements near the back, he then warned his dad, as he did a huge snake type beast dashed straight towards him.

'This Spirit Ability is quite good, better than the novel tang san even and from what the name hydra suggest, I can be sure that this ring would at least have something to do with regeneration.'

"Dad, I have decided, this will be my first Spirit Ring!"

Quickly deciding that this will be his first Spirit Ring, Tang san gestured at his dad to help him get it. Tang hao then summoned out his clear sky hammer spirit and fearlessly charge at the Hydra. The hydra, unaware that Tang hao was on hiding above the trees, the hydra kept up its threatening hiss as it slowly crawled closer to me.

Once it got at almost its striking distance, Tang hao then lunged down upon it, diving down with a corkscrew motion to gain more velocity and with a thunderous blow which shook the ground, smashed one of the hydra's heads in one hit.

When Tang san saw this he quickly activated the Sharingan to find any weak spots on its body and soon enough he was able to see an odd coloured scale, where the heads converge, compared to the other scales which was overflowing with spirit energy this scale was strangely empty. If not for the Sharingan even he wouldn't be able to identify this oddity and understood that this was probably the legendary reverse scale on dragons.

Tang san then took out a couple of kunais that he had been forging for a year now and threw them towards the eyes of head that was the furthest from his dad. Knowing that they were probably gonna miss as he was still practising how to throw kunais. But it whether they hit or not, it would still accomplish the d.e.s.i.r.ed action. Which was to divide the attention of the beast so that Tang hao could weaken it without any problems.

"Xiao san, make sure you keep your distance. From what I same you still don't have any combat experience and might misjudge the distance of the strike. So just stay where you are and keep doing what you're doing."

"Understood. Leave it to me"

Tang san then continued throwing kunais at en masse, aiming at the general direction of the beasts' eyes and at other times aiming at its reverse scale. And at one way or another, a kunai ricocheted off the hydras scales and manage to hit and buried itself right where the reverse scale was, very much hurting the beast.

With the opening Tang San had created, Tang hao released one of his spirit ring abilities that ended up cleaving the beast in two and soon enough the 3 headed forest hydra lost its energy and fell straight to the ground.

Seeing that Tang San went towards Tang hao and said,

"Dad, is it safe to got there now?"

"Yes, come over quickly Xiao san and finish it off."

Tang Hoa said handing him a sword as he went near the beast and sat in a lotus position and with his Blue Silver grass he attracted the ring and started to circulate his spirit energy.

A yellow Spirit Ring appeared from the Hydra's corpse and I used my Spirit Energy to bring it towards me. Since it was lower than my current Spirit Ring age tolerance there were no problems with absorbing it. Quickly, I gain information about Spirit Ability.

Gold: Increases all previous effect and adds skill [Camouflage]

Effects:

Allows the user to appear as something or someone else in both form and aura. The user can even appear perfectly fine despite being greatly exhausted.

Can be used to change the colour of one's Soul Rings and create entirely fake ones.

Allows him to assimilate into the environment like a chameleon, but if the user so much as twitches his fingers then they would be revealed.
