Douluo Dalu: Journey To The East

Ye Xiu was calmed talking the time limit for reaching rank 99, knowing that mucheng doesn't have the ability to absorb more rings than him in order for her to catch up.

Thinking hardly about her, feeling guilty of this helplessness. Absorbed by thoughts as Mucheng came over poking him for any reaction.

Having felt a poke on his cheeks, Ye Xiu snapped out of his thoughts and glanced at the side to look at Mu Mu. Seeing that she got a reaction from her actions, she wanted to say it first.

"What are you thinking about"? Happily smiling at him.

"it's time, I guess..." Ye Xiu looked up thinking about the one month limit on reaching rank 99.

Staring at the ceiling for sometime, Ye XIu got up from the bed. Going down to the inn to grab breakfast, finding books in the inn. Curious, Ye Xiu grabbed them off the shelves. Opening the books, finding the general topics that are covered in douluo continent.

Finishing breakfast, the duo went in their room. As Ye Xiu had the books from before, he wanted to inspect them. Opening them once more, reading through the content and lay down on the bed. Passing the time reading all the books he could bring up, finding about how to reach destinations such as 'East Sea City Port' or 'Heaven Dou'. He also found out the different types of herbs.

Remembering the informations. Still indulged in the books. As Mucheng finished off her cultivation, she has reached rank 31 after a casual taking in the energy. Looking at Ye Xiu on the bed, she went over and lay down next to him

"You're really into this." As Mucheng laid next to Ye Xiu and looked at the book that he was reading

"You should keep training, every second is important for the both of us." Looking at Mucheng as she was in his space.

Smiling to herself that Ye Xiu looked very calm and didn't mind her presence, thinking a way to show her affection at least to Ye Xiu.

"I don't need to. I just need you to be close by" As she closed her eyes, head falling to his shoulder and locking her arms at the same time. Smiling as Ye XIu doesn't resist and knowing she has the chance, she had to take the initiative at some point in time.

Ye Xiu didn't know what to do the whole time. Understanding her throughout time, being in acceptance as he begin to close the booked, setting it to the side, and falling asleep. Appearing in the realm space, walking around to find spirit beasts 100,000 years. He wanted their external spirit bones, the ones that increase cultivation, the better. Only doing this for Mucheng because she will be needed and not able to catch up.

Thinking about how both of them at rank 99 can defend against anything. They both were the best partner, they didn't need communication at most because of them knowing each other intent.

Stopping at his thoughts and tracks as he smiled.

"It's the right one." Ye XIu said as he took out his umbrella to release into lance form.

[Astral Lighting Fox, 150,000 years, spirit beast.]

Seeing Ye Xiu, the fox rushed forward. It's appearance was light blue fading along with 4 of its tails representing the power it had. Lighting can be seen shocking the ground as it was running.

Attacking with a lighting strike at Ye Xiu. He switch forms to the umbrella shield. Having the folds appear into a Umbrella Fold at the time. Aiming his shield in front of him as to absorb the lighting strike while seeing what else attacks came from the fox.

Seconds pass as each lighting from the fox stroke the umbrella shield at every 3 second interval. Ye Xiu taking notice for the three second timing, He switching to rifle form, shooting it with the skill,

Gatling Gun

Fox seeing bullets, not reacting fast enough as it was bleeding but still fighting Ye Xiu with anger in it.

More lighting came off the fox as it was angry. Feeling a threat that illuminates in front of him.

Ye Xiu seeing more lighting, backing away to not get hit. Having distance between him and the fox. Looking for any openings.

As the fox was gathering up more lighting to form a lighting ball, Ye Xiu saw a small opportunity. Switching to battle lance form, having the umbrella folds turn the other way. Rushing towards it, combo with other skill,

Double Stab, triggering a bleed effect.

The fox felt the lance penetrate him and causing it to bleed each second. Angered that he couldn't gather up a huge lighting ball, deciding that this 8 inch diameter ball sphere will do. Launching it towards Ye Xiu.

As Ye Xiu saw the fox sending the lighting ball, deciding to use other skills in his arsenal. Going with chasers to kill it fast, sending out all chasers and launching it towards the fox legs to immobilize it.

As the chasers hits, it's legs were immobilized, struggling to get up . Ye Xiu saw this opened opportunity and strike the last blow into the fox using skill,

Double Stab

Comboed by his umbrella switching to staff. As the umbrella switched, it began to fold the very tips of the umbrella to the very top, having looking like a sphere orb. Releasing elementalist skills,

Electric Ring

Comboed with Flame Ball, Raging Flames, along with final skill hit, Blizzard.

Finishing his attacks. The Fox was killed, dropping an external spirit bone that had ears that looked like the one the fox had, along with it's spirit ring.

Seeing the red ring, Ye XIu switched to his umbrella form, using it as his fourth ring slot.

Hours passed absorbing the 150,000 year ring. Using this chance to get to know his umbrellas' abilities to find out it only enlarged the folds when used as an umbrella and having water resistance. (A/N: I used s' because it has many forms, not sure for my english so please let me know in comments and correct with an explanation so I can learn in the future)

Raising his rank towards 47. Having 3 more to go to get towards the next bottleneck.
