Dragon Ball: Yamcha's Rebirth

Chapter 29 - Life 29: Sokudo-Hameha

"Yamcha, you need to be as calm as the skies and as still as a stone, to truly fight more efficiently reducing wasted movements in-between your battles."

"Hai!!"

"Forget the mortal world and put in all your concentration within training, I'm sure you want to protect your loved ones and to do this you'll need to grow in both body and mind and soul., though your soul force is as large as two separate souls, so I know your hardworking to have such a big soul force."

"Your Right, I need to improve and I can feel my soul force being stronger than ever Mr Popo."

"Maybe the soul force is your inner gift, being born with it helping you master techniques faster than others and mastering them almost immediately."

'Soul force-Reishi what does Mr Popo mean, is it because of that guy I fought in my dream, he looked like a human similarly to me but he had a suit of some sort on and he looked about 16-17 similar to me but he was so weak, and his will was ridiculous, he couldn't land a single strike and he tried to eat me.'

'The most weirdest thing was he kept on spouting out (Isekai) meaning a different world, and randomly I know what it is he kept and spouting (Truck-sama) (Reincarnation) (Why am I the weakest one of them all) (F*CK Yamcha) seeing this I merely gave him a jab and he exploded into a million pieces as his remains were white particles that fluttered their way into my head and seemingly merged with me.'

'It was like Wikipedia as it had everything in there and with a thought I could access all the information at once, but I didn't need and I wanted to know how he knew my name and the term (Truck-sama).'

'And when this happened instantly two tabs opened in my eyes one called Dragon Ball and the other called the Salvation Of Weebhood.'

[Dragon Ball (Japanese: ドラゴンボール Hepburn: Doragon Bōru), sometimes styled as Dragonball, is a Japanese media franchise created by Akira Toriyama in 1984. The initial manga, written and ill.u.s.trated by Toriyama, was serialised in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 to 1995, with the 519 individual chapters collected into 42 tankōbon volumes by its publisher Shueisha.

Dragon Ball was initially inspired by the classical Chinese novel Journey to the West, as well as Hong Kong martial arts films. The series follows the adventures of the protagonist, Son Goku, from his childhood through a.d.u.l.thood as he trains in martial arts and explores the world in search of the seven orbs known as the Dragon Balls, which summon a wish-granting dragon when gathered. Along his journey, Goku makes several friends and battles a wide variety of villains, many of whom also seek the Dragon Balls.]

'What about Yamcha'

[Yamaha is a...

'No check up Yamcha, damn my brains doing autocorrect.'

Yamcha (ヤムチャ, Yamucha) is a main protagonist in the Dragon Ball manga and anime Dragon Ball, and later a supporting protagonist in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, with a few appearances in Dragon Ball GT. He is a former boyfriend of Bulma and the lifelong best friend of Puar.

A former desert bandit, Yamcha was once an enemy of Goku, but quickly reformed and became a friend and ally. Brave, boastful and dependable, Yamcha is a very talented martial artist and one of the most powerful humans on Earth, possessing skills and traits that allow him to fight alongside his fellow Z Fighters when major threats loom. Although he retired by the latter half of Dragon Ball Z, due to being largely outclassed by both his allies (namely the Saiyans.)]

'When I saw this I immediately kept the knowledge under Dragon Ball and deleted everything else as I knew I wouldn't need any of it.'

'And that is the reason why I am able to pursue future events and techniques.'

"This force of Ki is a tangible energy inside every living person, with its major focus being in the center of the body. By drawing it out, an individual is able to manipulate it and use it for performances outside the body. Ki can be used for many different techniques.

It is necessary to increase one's ki to become strong, because there are physical limits to the strength of the body itself, in order to overcome that barrier. Usually, the more concentrated the masses are, the more time the user requires to draw it out by powering up.

When fighters gather ki, they are able to gain enhanced strength, speed, endurance, and can increase the power of their attacks to inflict greater damage to opponents. Normally, the more the ki is increased, the harder it is to control, so ki control is also important."

"But remember, Yamcha the term Ki/Qi/Chi is made up of Genki (元気; "Energy"), Yūki (勇気; "Courage") and Shōki (正気; "Mind"). These three are the main components of Ki without them we wouldn't be able to achieve the unity of both body and soul!"

"Genki(literally energy) is the energy of the person. It is based basically on the physical energy, vital force, and spiritual energy."

"Yuki(or Yuuki, literally Courage\Bravery) is the courage of the person. It is based on the fear of the person. If an individual has fear of another individual, then he loses his Yuki, and consequently a considerable amount of his power if he's brave he can gain more power."

"Shoki(or Shouki, literally Right-Mindedness) is the mind of the person. It is based on the calm and right mind. If the individual loses his right mind with another person, then he loses his Shoki, and a considerable amount of power too."

Hearing this Yamcha's eyes perked up as his mind began brewing a question.

"Then wouldn't that mean if someone cheered you on or gave you confidence your amount of Yuki would increase increasing your overall Ki?"

'What, why would he ask this... His comprehension is out of this world!'

"Yes your right Yamcha, if someone cheered another during anything then the amount of courage they have will be increased granting them the byproduct of increased Ki reserves, think of Yuki and Shoki as your health and stamina while Genki is your vigor, life force, vitality and raw power."

"To access your Genki, your raw power your mind and your courage need to be in synch as without them being in synch one wouldn't be able to draw out all their power, you know how we can use Ki-Sensing?"

"How?"

Yamcha asked dumbfounded. Seeing this Mr Popo smirked, "Well when we Ki-Sense, what we actually sense is ones life-force, their raw power, their Genki that's why even though sometimes we hide our power a wisp of it is still there, as experienced Ki-Users can tell one is not using their full power but merely a portion of it."

Mr Popo explained as he carried on his lecture about Ki, and of the power that could be attained if one's mind, courage and raw power was in equilibrium.

After this Yamcha nodded as he understood what Mr Popo said as his mind gained a sort of enlightenment upon hearing this.

And after this lecture a few days had passed as Yamcha was up for his next challenge that involved something to do with a certain rumbling mountain.

In the Far Far East of the world, where countless vegetation lived and littered the lands as huge black peaks stood up piercing the skies as they overlooked the grounds.

It was in this land that Yamcha would have his next test, an especially electrically daunting task that awaited him.

-Back To The Turtle Hermit Students:-

It had already been 3 days since Tanbarin's death and the Z-Fighters had begun their trek on the first day as they moved across each land rapidly.

Though due to the lack of flight so far their trip was quite lengthy and it took a while to reach the Northern Continent's.

But through these three days they had witnessed multiple strange things, such as these people calling themselves Shinobi's and Samurai's as they had a wide array of Ki attacks that utilised the elements in some way.

The attacks however reminded them of Yamcha in the long run and it encouraged them to continue on their quest to find Korin the Neko-Sennin.

They were determined to be equals and carry the same burden Yamcha carried for them as they wanted to help as well, sitting on the sidelines just wasn't good enough.

Along the way they met countless people and strange events though they powered through them all, but in these events Goku was seemingly the most effected.

Anyway the trio had finally arrived upon the Karinga's where the Northern Continent existed and once there they could sense a special power drifting off from the land.

It was obvious this was the Neko-Sennin Korin so they headed there immediately met up with Bora and began their climbing.

After hearing what Bora had to say, the three thanked him for telling them all they needed to know and even heard someone called 'Yamcha' climbed up a few weeks ago.

This rested their suspicions in ease as they know knew where Yamcha was exactly.

After this the three decided to climb it properly with Goku jumping upon it as he used his tail to hold himself on the tree and in the process looked like a certain tree hugger.

After him Krillin then walked up ahead to the tree, and put one hand on the metal patterns on the tree, and from this he swung himself upwards, as to climb faster than the others.

Bulma copied Krillin and swung up as well, as she used her hands and legs to support her upper body strength.

But this tree was very hard to grab ahold of and it felt really loose and slippery as if someone had covered it in oil which was annoying to say the least.

Though they had a good start and were quite high but not high enough they still fell down to the ground over 9 thou- (Shut up).

They still fell to the ground nine times before they reached the top causing them to stay within the Karinga Tribe for a week.

Over these nine tries they found that balancing along the side of it and running across the Tower, was quite fast and better than their methods, but they had to either constantly run or hold onto the tree as not to fall when they felt exhausted.

So to combat this, they tried multiple things until they realised using their Ki as a sticky solvent and using it to extend their grip helped as it maintained their balance on the tree.

And so the three turtle hermit students climbed, and they climbed, and they climbed to the top of the tower until... they finally saw Korin's abode.

With Bulma constantly saying, "Just a little bit, more and I can do this!"

With Goku taking the charge in this as he increased his Ki usage to maintain an even greater balance.

With Krillin thinking tactfull as he leaped into the air and saw he was to fall off so he instantly fired off a Kamehameha wave from his feet to begin flying.

"KAAAA- MEEEE- HAAAA- MEEEE- HAAAA!!!"

"... little, just a little further!"Exclaimed Bulma until she witnessed Krillin flying past her and Goku as he jumped into the entrance of Korin's abode beating both Goku and Bulma with his quick responses.

And after a while the other two were finally at the top as they tried to leap into one of the holes to enter Korin's house.

"... Oomph!!!"

"I Did It!!"

"Hah sometimes you gotta think big, think fast!"

"I see Krillin so you activated Ki from your heels and motioned for a quick burst to pour out causing a physical manifestation and a boost in velocity."

"And you combined this with the recipe of the Kamehameha wave... Genius incredible why didn't I think of that."

Goku exclaimed, as he then lamented over what to call this move, but then 'Eureka... That's it' as he spouted out.

"Krillin that move is now named as the Velocity Turtle Wave, also known as the Sokudo Kamehameha or shortened to the Sokudo-Hameha!!"

After arriving the trio couldn't even stand after landing inside the tower, it was filled with mystical objects all around me, as they saw plenty of boxes emblazoned with the sign 'Kami!'

After a few minutes of rest they all got back up, but as soon as they got up they heard a voice call out from above, "Come on up, Young Warriors, the Neko Sen'nin is up above!"

Hearing this they all rushed upwards to the ground above as they finally witnessed what the fabled Neko Sen'nin looked like and surprise was the least of their reactions.

"Congratulations on reaching the top, and so quickly as well, Young one's. I can see that your all quite strong as well rivalling almost my own Battle Power (Korin has 190 BP, Goku has 150 Battle Power, Krillin has 126 Battle Power and Bulma has 120 Battle Power.)

After this Krillin did a 90 degree bow, as he cupped his hands together before saying, "Great Neko Sen'nin please grant me guidance in the path of Martial Arts!"

This seemingly made the Sen'nin happy as he combed over his fur.

Hearing this Master Korin wasn't surprised, as usually when one sees him they think he's bluffing due to his short stature and cute adorable features but he could tell that these had the scent of Yamcha on them meaning they were of the Turtle Style.

"There's no need to bow and cup your hands like that stop bootl.i.c.k.i.n.g, stand up and if you're hardworking and ready to fix your flaws, then that is enough for me to train you, I'm sure you know who Yamcha is I can smell his scent off you girl, he's not here if your asking and he's in a higher realm!"

"Your most likely here for the Ultra Divine Water. Well if you want the water your free to take it, but I'm just going to prevent you from drinking it!"

"Hmm, from what I sense of you all, your not bad people- rather people with a goal in mind, and I can feel that within your minds you have some hints of paranoia within you preventing you from succeeding almost as if your paranoia is foreshadowing your downfall!"

"From what I can sense of you all, your decent people and are devoted to becoming more stronger, I understand your philosophy and so if you manage to drink the water while avoiding me then I'll accept you as my disciple, now be ready Hi-Yah!!"
