Dragon Ball Z: Flame Demon Rudra

Rudra was the strongest martial artist of his time. He had mastered more than 20 different martial arts from various countries. Plus, his internal energy cultivation had reached an unprecedented level.

He was lucky in this aspect, as the internal energy cultivation method was passed down in his family for generations. It was called "The Divine Dragon's Breath".

However, this caused a huge disaster. Somehow, the news about his special cultivation technique was leaked. This resulted in him being hunted down by assassins and other martial arts experts. It was a bloodbath, he killed anyone who came after him. But, in the end, he was ambushed by more than 100 experts, during which he died. He was filled with unwillingness as he died. "If there is another life, nobody would stop me from reaching the peak" he roared as he slowly lost himself in death.

After a long time, he slowly awoke opened his eyes. "Didn't I die in the fight? What's happening?" He asked himself. He felt a terrible pain coursing through his body.

He gritted his teeth and took a look at himself. He was totally shocked. This was not his body. He was in the body of a teenager. He looked around and found that he was in an unfamiliar location. There was a huge spaceship next to him.

Suddenly, he was attacked by a terrible pain in his mind. He gritted his teeth and endured it. After a few minutes, the pain gradually reduced and a string of memories appeared in his mind. He became totally ecstatic after going through the memories.

He found out that he was actually in dragon ball z universe. Being a martial art fanatic, Dragon Ball Z is the only series he watched. He never missed a episode and could clearly remember all the events in it.

He found out that he was a from a species called as flame demons. They were similar in appearance to saiyans and humans. The major differentiating factor is the red hair they have.

The fire demons are a mysterious race of aliens hailing from one of the hottest planet in the universe, Planet Volcain.

They are similar to frost demons in all aspects except their appearance, element type and transformations. They even have enhanced breathing capability and enhanced durability similar to the frost demons. This is due to them surviving under extremely harsh conditions.

The Flame demon's transformation is inherently different to that of the frost demons. Instead of a total change in appearance, the color of their Ki changes. The first transformation has light red Ki color, while the second has blood red Ki color. The subsequent levels are unknown among the members, as none in their race has ever surpassed the second level. However, even in the second form they have enough power to contend against any other species. But, unfortunately it seems like no one has reached even the second level in the last 500 years.

Like the frost demons, the Flame demon newborns also undergo a thawing process in which they cover themselves in liquid magma. The process last for many years and the duration determines the power levels and their potential.

Rudra's predecessor was actually the most talented flame demon in the last 5000 years. His thawing process took a total of 18 years. When he came out he was already at a power level of 200,000. This was simply unprecedented in the history of the flame demons. His potential was unrivaled even among their brother race frost demon.

But this ended up in a disaster for the whole race. King Cold doesn't want anyone who would be a threat to his reign to be alive and thus ordered Frieza to end the flame demon race. Even though the flame demons had huge amount of power that could rival frost demons, under frieza's final form, they became defenseless. But during the last moment they overpowered frieza for a few moments in battle which allowed Rudra's predecessor to escape in a shuttle.

He was hiding under disguise for 12 years but was found out by the frieza force. He ended up fighting with frieza and was mortally wounded before escaping the siege.

His spaceship landed in this unknown planet, but his body couldn't take anymore and he ended up dead. That was when Rudra's soul took over this body. Rudra couldn't help but sigh, no matter where you are, if you do not have strength, you'll be trampled by others. This reaffirmed his determination to reach the peak.

He sat cross-legged and started cultivating his internal energy cultivation. Soon, his body began to heal at a visible rate. He found out that the cultivation speed was around 100 times faster than his previous cultivation in Earth. He was totally ecstatic and thus continued on. Within 10 hours he was fully healed and he reached 1st level of the cultivation technique.

Rudra clenched his hands and felt power coursing through his body. In his previous life, he had only reached the first level even after cultivating for 10 years. Now, he reached the 1st level within 10 hours. He couldn't help but smile bitterly.

The higher the level, the difficult is it to cultivate. He decided to think about that later and started planning his future actions. He knew he has to start training. Even though he has a high starting point, if he doesn't train diligently he would end up being surpassed.

But before all that, he needs to do something. He slowly, started to float according to the memories he obtained from his predecessor. After trying a few times, he powered up his energy. Soon, a light red ki bursted out from his body.

He became a streak of light and started flying towards the sky. Soon, he crossed the atmosphere and reached the space. He took a look at the sight in front of him. He was totally intoxicated. He tried firing some energy balls and other attacks that the predecessor learned. He could do everything after a few tries. After enjoying his newfound power for a bit, he came back towards the spaceship.

He decided to travel to earth and train under Kami and Mr. Popo. After which, he could travel to Yadrat and learn their insta transmission and other useful techniques. The rest can be decided later.

After planning out his future actions, he went inside the spaceship. He founded a scouter within the spaceship. It appeared to be the latest model which could scout upto a million. He wore the scouter and powered up his energy. The digits in the screen started to increase in a rapid pace and finally settled. The scouter read a power level of 730,000. Even thought, the language was different, Rudra could understand it thanks to the memories from the previous owner.

He was quite satisfied with the current power level and decided to start his journey. He quickly set the destination to Earth and entered the hibernation chamber.
