Akame glared at Takashi with her ruby red eyes which were slightly scowling, "We need to work together on this mission. It is vital to our success," She said this with dislike in her voice, but she knew she had to team up with Takashi in order to eliminate Prime Minister Honest's cousin Iokal.

Iokal was heavily guarded 24/7 by his Super Soldiers and Empire Bodyguards. Akame would have to cut through all of them to reach Iokal and kill him. But with Takashi on her side, the mission can be accomplished faster, all Akame and Takashi needed to do was distract Iokal and get an open shot for Mine as she is situated on top of a high mountain and fire her Teigu sniper-rifle Pumpkin.

"Whatever, as long as you don't slow me down," Takashi walks away and Akame cutely follows him closely.

"You really are full of yourself, your firey ego and stubbornness will only get you killed," Akame huffed with her slender muscular arms crossed as she walks close to Takashi. It was like they were dating or something from how many times they fight with each other. Or maybe it was some kind of other bond they had... A bond that was inseparable...

Mine and Tatsumi walked together as well, Mine obviously looked displeased dragging along the newbie with her.

"A brilliant genius like me shouldn't babysit such a moron. Tch, stop following me," Mine placed her tiny hands on her flat-c.h.e.s.t and lifts up her head in a snobbish way as she walks further away from Tatsumi.

"Why do you have to be so damn mean! You don't even know me! I can't wait to prove you wrong today!" Tatsumi snarled as he gripped his knight-sword handle.

"Bah! I would like to see you try! I can never be outsmarted or beaten! I am just too perfect!" Mine huffed and flicks Tatsumi's nose.

"Hey!" Tatsumi growled.

"They seem to be getting along, how are you guys even brothers? You are the complete opposite of Tatsumi." Akame said with dull eyes, she was focused too much on her mission.

"I don't know," Takashi said as he glanced at Tatsumi fighting with Mine, he looked like such an outgoing and brave kind of warrior, like a diamond in the rough. Tatsumi would always look up to Takashi because he was stronger than him in every possible way. But Takashi did respect that Tatsumi kept on training and fighting no matter how weak and annoying he was.

'And they said I have no emotions," Akame quickly blinked her eyes, she somehow wanted to make Takashi talk more about himself and open up. But that would an impossible task, so instead, she focused on the task ahead. Her mission.

Takashi, Akame, Mine, and Tatsumi make their way into the Capital of the Empire.

"Damn, this brings back so many bad memories," Tatsumi gritted his teeth, just being in the Capital made his blood boil. He started to remember how Aria and all the royals betrayed them, how the Empire allowed the wealthy and corrupt roam freely and torture others like they were livestock. Tatsumi and Mine saw a bunch of upper-class teens throwing rocks at a poor young teenage girl who had dirty ragged torn-up clothes.

"Die already garbage! Hahaha! No one cares about you!" Three large boys said as they kept on throwing rocks at the helpless weak girl with pink hair who was starving to death.

Takashi stayed calmed and sharp-minded. He didn't lift a finger to protect the frail girl.

Mine eyes twitched with anger and rage, the afraid and weak pink-haired girl reminded her of herself so much, how everyone in the Empire treated her like trash and abused her. She had to do whatever it took to survive like stealing food and even killing others who tried to take advantage of her. She may seem like a snobby stuck up confident girl, but in truth, she wanted to forget her past and become someone stronger, someone, who can stand up to others. That's why she acted so high and mighty because she didn't want anyone to ever treat her like trash ever again.

"Hey! You two idiots stop!" Mine pointed her finger at the royal bullies.

"Tch! What are you going to do bitch?" The boys both said as they combed back their stylish blonde hair and spit at Mine and threw sharp jagged rocks at her.

Takashi quickly evaporated the spit and rocks before it touched Mine with Ryuyami's heatwave and sliced towards the two royal bullies as the black flames burned their clothes off. Their entire clothes quickly vanished as it was ensnared by black flames, the boys were now completely n.a.k.e.d!

"Ah! What the f.u.c.k!" They pissed themselves and ran away like a mouse seeing a cat. They feared Takashi's dark aura and his powerful epic flame powers. It was like they saw a godly dragon in front of them!

"Why did you do that?" Mine and Akame asked with shocked faces. Takashi had actually protected Mine from the rocks tossed at her.

"..."

Takashi didn't say a word.

"Damn so your actually not a cold bastard after all! You are a hero, you protected Mine and the girl that was getting bullied!" Tatsumi said with a smile on his face.

"Shut up. I am no hero," Takashi sheathed Ryuyami and walked towards a nearby Tavern to get some information about the Sacred Temple in the mountains.

Akame, Mine, and Tatsumi joined him.

"You know that I have a good idea! How about we girls go on a little shopping spree while you guys stay here and order us a meal and pay for it! Wahahahahaha! Fufufu!" Mine laughed her infamous screeching laugh from hell as she places her little hands over her tiny devilish loud-mouth.

"You should keep yourselves hidden, stop being so loud Mine,"Akame places her palms over Mine's mouth, right now she had a black and red hoodie over her head so no one could see her face which was on the wanted Night Raid bounty 'wanted poster'.

"Is that my jacket?" Takashi asked.

"Yes. I found it lying around the base when you were changing for the next mission," Akame blushed a little and sniffed his jacket. "Plus it smells good,"

"Man girls are weird as hell," Tatsumi says.

"You are right about one thing," Takashi and Tatsumi went to look for a place to sit in the tavern as they had to wait for nightfall in order to make their first move and eliminate their Target Iokal. So they had to wait. Which was something Takashi hated, but he knew it was necessary to keep their identities hidden. (E/N: Patience Takashi, patience.)

"Well, there are no Wanted Posters for me, Tatsumi, and Takashi, so you are going to need a disguise, maybe I can make you look all dolled and pretty for a date with Takashi!" Mine grinned and nudges Akame's shoulders.

"A date?" Akame had a clueless face.

"You don't know what a date is? Geez you need to live a little," Mine says.

"Okay," Akame said with a monotone voice. She clearly didn't understand the meaning of a 'date' and romance in general.

Takashi looked ahead as he asked the bartender for some information about the Sacred Temple which is where Iokal lived and did heinous experiments which transformed slave-villagers and other poor people into super soldiers and pawns for the Empire. Takashi saw a crowd of Capital Citizens rushing towards the middle of the town. It was like a stampede, it looked like some kind of event was taking place.

"What the hell is going on?" Tatsumi said to Takashi.

Mine looked at the citizens running with excited faces. She knew damn well what was about to happen.

"Another one again?" Said one old farmer man.

"Yeah, the Prime Minister really isn't holding back with the executions today," replied a female merchant.

"I suggest you boys look away," Said the bald male bartender to Takashi and Tatsumi.

"What are you talking about?" Tatsumi's eyes widen as he saw something horrible.

A young girl about 10 years old is being dragged on the floor by Empire Soldier. Her face was all bloody, one Empire Soldier was wearing a black mask and carry a large battle-ax, he lifts the ax over the little girls head.

"No...NO!" Tatsumi stands up and slams his hands on the table. "I have to stop them!" He runs over to save the girls life, but Takashi tightly grips his shoulders.

"Don't be a dumbass, you will reveal our identities if you are captured by the Empire Soldiers," Takashi said in a calm and collected tone.

"I don't give a damn! I won't let this happen!" Tatsumi loses his cool. His once cheery attuited crumbled. This world really was a f.u.c.k.e.d up one.

The young girl starts crying, her mother and father are next to her holding her their daughter ever so dearly. They had gone against the Prime Minister when he figured out they were stealing some of his money/classified information and that they worked for the Revolutionary Army as they worked as servants for him and the Young Emperor. They were spies and as such must be punished. Prime Minster honest orders were absolute. No one could save their poor lives.

Takashi gritted his teeth as well, he tried to hold back his rage and anger, but seeing a young girl about to be killed was pushing him over the age, but to have such thoughts as one of the most brutal and top tier assassins in planet Earth was something unheard of!

"Kill the traitors!" Chanted all the Capital civilians.

"KILL THEM!"

What will Takashi decide to do? Akame had eyes full of sorrow as she saw this going on. She as well wanted to stop this from happening. But she knew it would jeopardize the mission. What will happen...
