Dragon Sorcerer In One Piece

Headquarter of Revolutionary Army,

"You two are to leave the Revolutionary Army." Dragon spoke in the meeting while Kuma remained silent and I was surprised to receive the new mission. I knew Kuma would eventually leave the army to join the Shichibukai but for me to join this secret mission was unexpected.

Dragon noticed my confusion "Let me rephrase it. We received limited intel that the World Government is developing some sort of secret weapons that could change the balance of the powers. For this reason, Kuma will use his past reputation as a 'Tyrant' and join the Shichibukai to gather more intel from within. At the same time, I want you to stir the pot with the World Government in any means necessary." After the explanation from Dragon, I realized why he only invited me, Kuma, Sabo and Ivankov in the meeting. This mission will eventually be revealed to everyone in the Revolutionary Army but as of now, it is important to have limited people who know the details.

"I understand the part about messing with World Government and stuff but why David?" Invakov asked as he wasn't completely sure why Dragon picked me instead of other senior members of the army. Sabo and I also want to hear the reason why Dragon decided to include me in this secret mission. In the original canon story, it was only Kuma who was sent to this mission and ended up becoming a cyborg than ultimately a slave to world Nobles. Now, I'm part of the mission, someone who changed Dragon's original plan to which I have to take direct action against the World Government.

The room was silent for a minute until Dragon began his explanation. "I picked David because I know he has a higher chance of success and most to survive on the mission. He is the strongest agent we have and no one from the outside of the Revolutionary Army knows his face or name. My other reason to send two instead of one agent is that I'm unsure about our future outcome. We are being attacked from the front line by the Marines and in the shadow by Cipher Pol agents. I want David to stir the World Government by removing the threat from the shadow while we handle the Marines." Invakov and Sabo weren't happy but they understood the importance. The agents of the Revolutionary Army were being hunted by agents of Cipher Pol more than from conflict with Marines. It will be more effective to fight the shadow agents with someone who also happens to be more dangerous and powerful.

By the end of the meeting, Kuma and I are to leave the base in a separate ship in 2 days while Sabo is to become a Chief of Staff. Sabo's promotion will be announced in the next official meeting with other commanders, but Kuma and I won't be there as we will be long gone. When everyone left the Dragon's office, I stayed behind to talk to Dragon, "Do you have a question about the mission?" Dragon spoke before I could speak first, "I just want something to clarify with you. How do you want me to approach this mission? You weren't clear on how to stir the world Government or Cipher Pol." I already have a few ideas to handle this mission but I wanted to check with Dragon since his definition and my definition of 'stir' are a bit different. "I want you to be surgically and discreetly that, even Cipher Pol wouldn't consider you to be part of the Revolutionary Army at all." I nodded and walked away from the office with a big smile, 'Now our definition of 'stir' is the same.'

2 Months Later, Water 7,

A young man in a black suit with a red tie stepped out from the Blue Station. His hair is black and has a lean muscular body but the most noticeable thing about this young man was his emerald eyes. With the suitcase in his hand, David walked toward Main Street without hesitation as he was ready to conduct business and eager to execute his plan. After renting Yagara bull, David easily found the shop he was looking for, a currency exchange shop owned by Ishigo Shitemanna. This is the same shop where Luffy and Nami exchange their gold to cash before Fanky stole it from Usopp.

David's POV

I entered the shop intending to trade a few gold and jewels for cash. I didn't need cash but I do need rumors to spread around Water 7 to catch certain people's interest. Inside of the shop, a pale man with a mustache was sitting at the table going over a few paperwork. After noticing a potential customer entering the building, he stopped his work and got up to welcome me.

"Good morning, how can I help you? Are you here to exchange or to purchase?" He gave a typical business smile but there was an eye for opportunity as he saw a young man in an expensive suit. "I'm here to exchange some gems and gold for cash." As I said, I opened the suitcase I brought with me. Inside of the suitcase was half full of gold bars and dozens of gems such as diamond, ruby, topaz and emerald.

There was a slight reaction from Ishigo's face when he saw the content of the suitcase. He quickly recovered his surprised face and began his regular sales speech, "If you let me, I want to check the gems and purity of the gold bars." After 10 minutes of testing and determining the value, Ishigo smiled and gave me a price tag of 20 million berries for everything. I knew he was going to rip me off from the start just like how he will do it to Luffy and Nami.

After hearing the price Ishigo gave, I packed up my suitcase and was ready to leave with anger in my face. Ishigo starts to panic as he is about to lose a once in a lifetime opportunity of treasures in front of him. "Wait, I can see you are not satisfied with my price offer, how about this I will make it 30 million in cash. What do you think?" I stopped, pretended to give quick thoughts and gave my answer, "Make it 80 million berries and I don't intend to lower the price." I gave a stern face that Ishigo couldn't find any crack or weakness in it. In the end, I left the shop with a suitcase full of cash and enough to start attracting a certain criminal family in Water 7.

2 Hours Later,

Group of men blocked my way in the middle of the alley, they all had black armor with a red star in the middle and all of them had knives pulled out to show intimidation. "We know you recently acquired a suitcase full of money. Unfortunately, you have to pay a toll and protection fees which will be 80 million berries." There were laughs after the leader of the group spoke to me with a devious tone. This only made me laugh and join the group as I felt sorry for what I will do next to them.

10 minutes later, I was in front of a house located outside of Water 7 with beat up members of Franky Family. I had them confirm that Franky himself is in the base of operation and had them guide me to their base. When I entered the Franky House, I was welcomed with large numbers of Franky Family members with weapons ready to attack me. Before anyone could make a move, a man with two women in both of his sides appeared from the stage. It was a leader of Franky Family and former shipwright apprentice of Tom, Franky also formally known as Cutty Flam before he upgraded himself into a cyborg.

"What do we have here, it seems like we have a guest who wishes to die," Franky spoke with anger in his voice as he saw injured minions run toward their comrades. There was no show or performance from Franky, just ready to give his command, but before he could do anything I used the power of monkey talisman to turn everyone into sloth. With a big flash of light, everyone except me turns into sloth, as I approach a now sloth Franky, I ask him a question. "I'm looking for someone who you might know. I'm looking for one of the emperors of the Underworld, Drug Peclo."
