Dragonball X: The Ultimate System

Chapter 32 - What I Can Do!

Kayn arrived on Namek from the Yellow pad he left. Looking around, he found that Namek was the same as always. It had nearly been 2 years since he had been here, enough time to give the Namekians their space.

Kayn already told them that he would be coming here often between that time frame and 10 years. Of course, it was never good to burn out your welcome, so he wouldn't show up for long periods of time.

Kayn stretched a bit then used [Instant Transmission] to the location of Nail the Namekian. Once Kayn appeared, Nail wasn't particularly surprised to see him since he knew Kayn would show up again one day.

However, Nail noticed great changes about Kayn, and it was his eyes. He didn't say anything about it, but instead, he greeted Kayn when he saw him. "You've grown again, I haven't seen you in a while. I guess your ship has collected a lot of dust at this point."

"Yes, I journeyed far and wide causing trouble for Frieza's troops. As for the ship, it'll come in handy later, so I'll be taking it with me"

"Anyway, I'm here to use the Dragonballs one last time if that's okay with you." He had to make it good this time, he couldn't keep using their dragon balls despite them not caring.

"Oh, really, this can be done. I've never seen such a wishing maniac before, is it a tradition of most?" Nail joked and said.

"...." Kayn didn't know how to reply to that. On a serious note, anyone would love to continue making wishes if they could.

"Ahem, anyway, I'll have them gather the balls." Nail didn't know if it was a good joke or not, but it seemed to not be a good one, so he coughed it off and changed the subject.

"Thanks. You and your people are saving the universe by doing these things and you don't even know it." Kayn meant a lot of things when he said that, it was important that he was strong enough in the future.

The Gathering of the Dragonballs took longer this time, but they were gathered in an hour. This time, they flew away from the village area to summon the dragon.

The Sky Darkened in standard fashion and the Dragon ascended to the sky. Kayn didn't know what to wish for, he only had one wish really, so he had to think of something. This world was based on survival, so he needed to live forever and never die!

Except, he didn't want anyone to know about his wishes. Nail wouldn't say anything, but the guy would later fuse with Piccolo which would expose these things.

Kayn was thinking to himself when Nail's voice came over, asking him what his first wish would be.

"My First wish?.... My first wish will be Immortality!" Nail's expression... after a while showed shocked! To Kayn, this was common sense wish, who didn't want to live forever? Nail was silent for some time until he eventually turned toward the Dragon and spoke the wish.

The Dragon's eyes flashed, then Kayn heard a notification. Nail once again turned to Kayn and asked what his second wish was. Kayn knew that after the Frieza saga, he wouldn't return to this place, ever.

Kayn didn't know what his 2nd wish would be, so he had to think about this one. After 3 minutes, he finally found what his 2nd wish would be. It was to give Gine immortality, he wished for her to live forever!

"My 3rd wish is simple and it is to revive someone. However, I want this person to spawn elsewhere when he comes back to life." Nail nodded and said that it wasn't a problem.

Kayn made his final wish before the Dragon turned into light, and the Dragoballs were once again spread across the planet. Nail told Kayn that the Namekian children liked to find the Dragonballs when they're bored, so it was no problem searching for them.

Kayn thought for a moment, then he quickly activated the Deletion Card on Nail. This instantly attacked his memories; Nail wasn't aware of what was happening to him. Kayn chose to delete the information about him being immortal, Possessing the Ancient Saiyan Bloodline, and the information about Gine being Immortal.

Nail looked dazed for a second but he said no more before heading back to where he was initially stationed. All 3 of his wishes were a success. "I'll have to create my own Dragonballs in order for the earth to have a better shot."

At that point, everyone could be powerful, it was no telling what was after the Moro Saga, but Moro himself was a difficult opponent to handle without [Spirit Control].

Kayn knew one thing for sure, he'd never run out of things he had to do, at least not for a while. Once all of this was done, he went over to the ship he left on Planet Namek over a year ago. After looking it over, he flew off to retrieve the Yellow Pad he left here on Namek.

Kayn made his way back to the ship and boarded it to leave the planet. In mere moments, he was flying through space. The Ship was heading towards Derail 7 but he put the ship on AutoPilot before walking through the pad back to Derail 7.

Once Kayn arrived back on Derail 7, he sensed an extra Ki signature on the planet. This Ki signature clearly belonged to Bardock but he was far off somewhere else on the planet.

"I better go pick him up, he's probably a very confused individual right about now." Kayn lock-in on Bardock and used [Instant Transmission]. At that moment, Kayn appeared in front of Bardock who was mid-flight.

Bardock stopped immediately when he saw Kayn appear before him. He quickly took up a fighting stance with a look of surprise on his face.

"Where is this? How am I here?" Bardock questioned when he saw Kayn, it was clear he didn't recognize him.

"That's a story for later, I think we should hurry elsewhere. I think mom will be happy to see you." When Bardock heard those words, he looked closely at Kayn, but still couldn't figure out who he was and who this mom was.

"It's me, Kayn. Gine is waiting for you, so you should hurry." Kayn smiled and said.

Bardock's eyes went wide from shocked, this was his actual son!? Bardock was rendered silent, he remembered leaving Gine that day to confront Frieza and he was aware that he had died. He had been to hell, so how could he not know about his own death? The bigger question posed to him was; how was he alive?

"Kayn, is that really you? You've grown... so big!" Bardock believed him; this was because of his long hair similar to Raditz. Kayn didn't choose his look scheme until a little late, so Bardock had trouble recognizing him.

"Gine survived, I realized this when I didn't see her in hell. But you and Kakarot have also survived; this is good." Bardock nodded, showing a smile across his face. He approached Kayn and wrapped his arms around him, hugging him while patting his back.

Kayn returned the greeting though he never really spent any time with Bardock like he did Gine.

"I won't die so easily, let's discuss this with mom. Her life hasn't been exactly easy, but you'll understand her story when she tells it to you."

Moments later, they arrived at the large house. Bardock wasn't phased by the house, but he seemed to be in a hurry. It was a good thing Gine had returned from her training since Kayn had been gone for about an hour and a half.

"Who? There's someone else?" Gine's voice resounded. When Kayn ported in she felt another person accompanying him through her Ki senses.

"Gine!" The minute Bardock heard her voice, he called out to her unconsciously. Gine walked around the corner and her expression dramatically changed.

"B-Bardock!" Gine jumped into his arms, she was so happy that she was trembling. Gine had the same feeling when she heard Kayn's voice through King Kai for the first time.

"I'm here, I'm alive somehow. I don't understand it, I know I was killed by that menace, Frieza!" Bardock couldn't let this go, how could he come back to life? Gine wrapped her arms around Bardock's neck and looked at Kayn with a meaningful gaze.

Gine obviously wanted to tell him about the Dragonballs. Kayn nodded, he didn't want them to know about the whereabouts of the DragonBalls for now. "Let's take a seat, there's a lot for me and Kayn to tell you."

Kayn didn't need to say anything. Gine told Kayn's story and she told her story about what she had been through. Bardock immediately wanted to travel to that planet and kill them all!

Gine, however, had explained that she was training and that she wanted to do it herself. Bardock looked at Gine strangely when she first told him this. He knew she wasn't much of a fighter, so he felt she couldn't have improved that much.

"Hohoho! Do you want to spar with me, hun? I'm willing to show you if you don't believe my words." Gine grinned. Honestly, she couldn't wait to spar with Bardock, but now, she found a good reason to battle him.

"Oh, I'd like to see what you're capable of. Just how far has your 'training' taken you?" Bardock emphasized on the word training, he was clearly poking fun at it.

Bardock turned and looked at Kayn, he was sure Kayn had also seen improvement; this was mainly because of the strange movement he had performed earlier, but he wasn't sure how strong he was.

Gine was full of smiles, as the 3 of them walked outside to an empty space. Of course, Kayn made sure that they were a good distance away from his house.

Both Gine and Bardock spread apart, getting a good distance from each other before the fight. They both took a battle stance, but Gine's expression had turned serious while Bardock was still smiling.

"Okay, ready....go!" Kayn waved his hand and both parties made their move.
