Dragonball X: The Ultimate System

Disclaimer: All Crybabies read the whole chapter before complaining mid-way!

Everyone was talking among each other, they knew his strength was too high to fight against.

"How do we compete against someone like that, he's leagues ahead of us in strength." Krillen was very worried; this guy's strength was on a whole new level. This was funny coming from him since he was the prime character who underestimated him.

"His tail, it has to be his weakness; this was the case for me so this has to work. It's my only way at winning, it can drain his power." Goku knew this was the only way to beat Raditz because fighting him head-on wasn't going to land him a victory.

"Do you really think you can get close enough to grab his tail?" Before anyone could answer Krillin's question, they heard another voice speak out.

"That's impossible and hopeless." Everyone stopped for a moment to search where the voice was coming from. They all looked up and saw that Piccolo had appeared in the sky.

"Piccolo!!" Everyone's expression showed shock and even fear. Piccolo descended and started talking about teaming up against this new enemy. Everyone was surprised, including Goku who said this wasn't like him to work and help others.

With piccolo only saying that he was a threat that has to be taken out. Goku asked Bulma for her Dragon Radar, then he hopped on his flying nimbus.

"Hey piccolo, do you think you can keep up with my Flying Nimbus?" Goku smirked and asked.

"Your little cloud isn't all that special, my traveling method is a bit more advanced." Piccolo smirked back at him and they both took off in the direction of Raditz.

Meanwhile, Gohan was thrown inside Raditz's Space Pod like a dog. Gohan yelled and cried to be let out, but his cries were ignored by Raditz.

Raditz stood up, his scouter suddenly went off.

"What's this, my scouter is warning me. A power level of 710, and it's close by." Raditz turned around toward his Space Pod. Gohan's cries were still ongoing, but then the scouter reading dropped back to normal.

"So that's what it is, this damn thing is broken." Just as Raditz turned away, he saw more numbers appear on his scouter.

"What!?" Raditz turned to see that it was Piccolo and Goku that had arrived.

Goku flipped off his flying nimbus and landed near Piccolo.

"Kakarot, I always thought you'd have a bit more sense than this." Raditz crushed the fruit in his hand.

"That's enough, I didn't come here to listen to your family squabble." Piccolo tossed his weighted clothes off.

Goku did the same, he took off his weighted clothes as well. Raditz saw their power levels rise from his scouter, which caused his eyebrows to raise.

"You didn't bring Kayn, so he's either dead or still hiding! I was thinking about my offer from before, but as you are now, you'll probably just slow us all down, you can die, you damned traitor!"

After hearing Raditz yell these words, they knew a fight was coming. Both Goku and Piccolo rushed Raditz on foot, punching, and jabbing. Raditz dodged all their punches and blocked most of them.

Goku jumped and kick at Raditz's head, but Raditz easily evaded. Everyone's movements were quick; they were even leaving afterimages during their fight.

Both Piccolo and Goku appeared behind Raditz, but he bent forward and kicked them both with his legs while floating off the ground. Raditz elevated into the sky and they pursued him, Goku jumped and Piccolo flew.

Raditz held his hand up, then he grinned as two large pink blasts shot from his hands. In a similar fashion to the show, Goku and Piccolo manage to dodge the deadly blast. Both Energy Blast flew off into the distance and exploded.

Goku landed but when he looked up, he didn't see Raditz anymore.

"What? Where did he go?"

"I'm right here." Raditz appeared behind him and kicked forward. Goku landed flat on the ground and into the dirt.

"Are you okay, piccolo?" Goku struggled but he stood up and asked if piccolo was okay. However, he saw that his arm had been blown off by the blast from before.

He was stunned and worried. Piccolo told him not to worry and that he only needed one arm to fight.

Raditz only laughed, stating that he was already half dead at this point. Piccolo asked if Goku was training any special techniques over the years, but Goku told him he didn't. Piccolo called him a slacker, and if he could only hold Raditz at Bay, he could charge up his special attack and defeat him.

Goku agreed and went to fight Raditz, they did some brief exchanges, but no one was hit or hurt during their minor exchanges. Goku jumped into the air and started to charge up a Kamehameha Technique.

Raditz noticed that his power level was rising during the charge of the attack. Raditz turned again to see Piccolo's power level also rising, it had risen to 1,020 and it was still rising!

Goku shot off his attack, Raditz wasn't sticking around in an attempt to block it. So, he did what was natural and that was to move out of the way. However, Goku turned his hand, he was actually controlling the attack to follow and pursue Raditz.

Kayn watched from afar, he hadn't tried to control his attacks to actually follow people. This may work well with his spike Bomb Technique later.

Raditz didn't even fly, he was actually running on foot away from the attack. Raditz had no choice, he couldn't run from this attack. Raditz turned to face the attack, he stuck out his hand and blocked the attack, as it exploded on his palm.

Raditz shot an energy attack at Goku while he was in the air. Goku naturally couldn't fly, so he couldn't dodge. Goku landed on the ground with his clothes tattered; Raditz appeared before Goku and grabbed the collar of his shirt.

Just when he was about to punch him, his scouter when off again. Raditz turned his head in surprise.

Gohan burst out of Raditz's Space Pod; completely destroying it.

Gohan had a teary face, his nose runny as he glared at Raditz.

"Gohan, run!" Goku hurriedly and warned his son.

"His power level...it's at 1,307! How is this possible!?" Raditz was shocked.

"You stop hurting my daddy!" Red energy flared around Gohan's body, then he lunged at Raditz like a missile. Raditz didn't dodge due to how stunned he was, he couldn't believe that this brat had this much strength.

After being hit by Gohan, his armor was cracked. Raditz was pissed, as he grasped the part of his c.h.e.s.t that had been hit. Raditz noticed something, he noticed that Gohan's power level dropped to 1 and that his strength changes with his emotions.

Goku hollered for Gohan to run, but Raditz backhanded him across the face, sending him flying. Raditz felt embarrassed, he had to kill Gohan now before he learned how to use his true power. Raditz walked over to Gohan, he simply ignored Goku's pleads to not hurt him.

Just as he was about to blast Gohan into nothingness, Goku appeared behind him and arm locked him.

"What? You little!' Raditz couldn't break free.

"Piccolo, your attack, now!"

"Hold him right there, just a little more, hehe!" Piccolo continued to charge his attack.

"Hurry piccolo, I can't hold him for long." Even though Raditz was weakened, he couldn't hold him for much longer.

"Are you an idiot!? If that attack hits me, it'll go right through me and kill both of us!" Raditz tried to convince Goku, but to no avail.

"Hehe, well, I guess that's the way it gonna have to be." Goku didn't care, he was aware of the Dragonballs.

"Stop!!" Raditz screamed hysterically.

"Makankōsappō!!" Like lightning, the attack shot out of Piccolo's fingertips.

Goku and Raditz were lifted off the ground from the attack, it penetrated them both. Raditz coughed up a mouth full of blood, while Goku eyes were slowly losing their light of life.

Both slammed onto the ground unmoving.

"Y-you fool!" Even at this moment, Raditz was still in disbelief.

Piccolo walked over to Raditz.

"To do that, to throw away his life just like that." Raditz's eyes pupil were white, as his breath was fading. Piccolo began to explain about the DragonBalls and what they can do. Raditz thanked him for the info, explaining that he had several partners that come here for them and kill the all.

Piccolo was angered and was about to finish him off, but his body froze. Raditz's scouter showed some numbers on it until it couldn't handle it anymore and exploded. Piccolo was shocked, he suddenly felt an unfathomable amount of power out of nowhere.

Kayn appeared in front of Raditz and slid and Senzu bean in his mouth.

"Just eat it or you'll die." Raditz swallowed the bean instinctively, then he felt a sudden burst of energy. His wounds healed in a flash, then he stood up and looked at himself in shock.

Piccolo also looked on with a face full of dread, he couldn't move because of some strange force wearing him down. Due to the near-death experience or pretty much death experience, Raditz's strength witnessed a Zenkai Boost.

"W-who are you?" Piccolo managed to squeeze out these words.

"Oh, my name is Kayn. I just dropped by to save these 2 from killing each other." Kayn looked over at Goku, but he was already dead at this point.

"Kayn!?" Raditz remembered that his scouter exploded when he appeared, this only meant his power level was over 10,000 since that was the limit his scouter could measure.

"Kayn? I've never heard of someone named that; what does this fight have to do with you?" Piccolo asked another question.

"Everything, actually," Kayn answered and he flashed his tail as he said this; shocking Piccolo again.

'He's one of them!' Piccolo gritted his teeth and thought.

At this moment, Bulma ship could be seen landing from afar.

"What do you think you're doing? Shouldn't you be trying to join forces to fight the greater enemy that's Frieza, not killing your own?" Kayn looked at Raditz then looked at Goku, who was immobile.

"So, you were here, why didn't come sooner? This planet's inhabitants were supposed to be done in by you and Kakarot, why haven't you completed your mission?" Raditz asked bluntly. Raditz didn't answer Kayn's question.

"There was never a mission like that, who told you some bullshit like that? Don't make stuff up if you don't know the whole story, you were just on some backwater planet at that time, so what would you know?"

Kayn scoffed, there wasn't any mission to destroy any planet, where did he get his info from? He must have only assumed this. At this time Master Roshi, Krillen, and Bulma walked over after seeing the nonviolent situation.

They noticed Goku's dead body and scrunched their faces.

"What are you saying, you're saying that you weren't sent here to erase the inhabitants of this world." Raditz knew this was his assumption, it was something he ran with all these years.

Before Kayn could answer, Raditz spoke again. "To answer your question, I didn't kill Kakarot, this man right here did, we should kill him now." Raditz glared at Piccolo, he felt stronger than he was before.

"Kakarot will come back in about 1 minute from now, so he won't be dead for long. I already predicted this moment, so I made some arrangements long ago."

Raditz was angry, he felt like his mission had failed. He came here and was about to die, and his brother also died with him. However, he was confident his teammates would revive him with those Dragonballs.

Bulma attended to Gohan while Krillen and Master Roshi walked over. They didn't sense any hostility coming from Kayn; they also felt that his strength was unreal.

"How can that be? He was just killed off, he clearly isn't breathing anymore." Raditz walked over to Goku's body, but suddenly, the large hole in Goku's c.h.e.s.t healed rapidly as his body flashed with a dim white light.

Goku opened his fast and sat up.

"What!?" Everyone looked on with shock, he wasn't lying and rose from the dead!

Goku stood up and looked at himself from head to toe, he was just as confused.

"Huh? Did you guys find the Dragonballs that fast?" Goku looked over and saw that Raditz was in perfect condition, then he saw another unfamiliar person.

"Raditz, you're alive!" Goku jumped backward and upped his guard.

"Kakarot, you don't need to fight anymore. Your son is alive and Raditz won't pursue this anymore, right Raditz?" Kayn looked at Raditz and questioned.

"What do you mean 'not pursue this anymore'? Vegeta, Nappa, and Anya are on their way! How do you intend to fight them?" Raditz was amazed by Kayn's height, but he couldn't let this go with how powerful Vegeta and the others were.

"Vegeta's power level at max strength is 18,000, I'm far stronger than him." Kayn didn'yt beat around the bush and said "Don't act up because I won't be the one dealing with you. Instead, when Bardock gets here, you'll be taking a beating from him." Kayn shrugged.

"W-what? What did you say? Say it again!" Raditz thought he was hearing things, he couldn't believe what he had heard. Did he just say Bardock was going to deal with him, he completely disregarded Vegeta and his group hearing this.

"Who are you guys to each other if you don't mind me asking?" Master Roshi coughed slightly and asked.

"Old man, this is the Kayn I was talking about, he's also me and Kakarot's brother." Raditz said before looking back at Kayn. Raditz normally wouldn't have bothered to answer someone like this old man's question, but he was caught in the moment.

"W-what? What is going on today? Why is this happening?" Bulma was dumbfounded and so was Krillen. Master Roshi only sighed, while piccolo's face was still drenched in a cold sweat.

"It's like I said, Bardock and Gine are alive. They should be on their way now, at least I hope they are."

"I-impossible! They're dead, they all died that day!" Raditz stepped back in shock, his facial expression grave. There were all sorts of emotions on his face, happiness, fear, and anger. How long have they been alive? Why hadn't they come for me all this time? He had many questions.

"I'll explain everything. Is there anywhere we can sit, I'm also hungry. Kakarot, come over here, you need to know this." Suddenly, the energy holding Piccolo down was dispersed.

Goku looked confused but he walked over anyway after seeing Kayn's modest expression.

Hearing his words up until here, everyone else was speechless.
