Dream Life

Lesson 31: Birth

The birth of my mother Tanya is approaching.

Maid Molly starts preparing for the birth and feels a little rushed in the mansion.

The men, including my grandfather, are as usual, but Molly caught me and I was wondering why I was busy.

Around that time, a pedestrian coming from Kilnarek told me that the army of the Kingdom of Lax had made its way to the Kingdom of Kaum.

Instead of the Kingdom of Lax invading, it meant that the Demons were on their way as reinforcements because they broke through the fortifications of the Kingdom of Kaum.

I heard about the Demons in the wind rumors, but when I hear that an army of reinforcements will actually be sent, I'm worried that this area is going to be okay.

When I told my grandfather that story,

"There are hundreds of kilometers from Fort Toa. Besides, the Royal Kaum Army is good at defense. It's not good to be invaded so far. Even if you go near it, you go down the street. There's no impact here."

That's what my grandfather says and laughs at, but it seemed to me that I cared about my mother and our children, who were about to give birth, and I was forced to laugh.

June 8.

Late last night the weather in the village of Rasmore has been rough, with strong winds and heavy rain slamming the roof of the mansion.

Early in the morning, my father and grandfather were chased by the storm response, and my servants are also running around in the village.

The sound of the storm was unbeatable in the house, and the sound of the cooking played by Molly and Tricia.

Mother, who welcomed the moon, feels spicy to move a little, but now she is sitting in a relaxed chair placed in the dining room and knitting.

Me and my brother, the three of Liddy, had never done it, and I was reading a book next to my mother.

In the afternoon, but there was never any sign that the storm would subside, and my fathers were also responding with their heads troubled by reports of the damage that came in a hiatus.

That's when my mother noticed, she told me to call Molly in a painful voice.

"Zach, please call Molly. I feel like I'm gonna be born."

I waste my time snorting and running to the kitchen.

"Molly! Come! My mother said she was about to be born!

When Molly heard my words, she slowly wiped her hands with an apron and said, "It's okay. Because you won't be born so suddenly," he smiled at me, then headed under my mother.

Molly looks at her mother and then gives instructions to her daughter, Tricia, in a slow tone, "Tell her to pick up Mr. Dorothy because there's Walt outside," to go get her healer, Mrs. Dorothy.

I'm usually chatty and cheerful Molly, but she looks very calm and reliable today.

When she slowly gets her mother up, she tries to turn her arms and head to the escort bedroom.

My brother Rod told my father, or my father rushed into the dining room.

"I think it's about tonight. I've sent for Mr. Dorothy now."

When Molly tells me that, my father stands opposite her and supports my mother.

When the three of them were gone, the dining room would be left with me, my brother and three of Liddy, but there was nothing to do, and there was subtle air.

I said something, "Do you remember when I was born?," he tells his brother.

"I don't really remember... but was everyone going to be busy with something? Um, I guess I don't remember."

The topic is also interrupted. Once again, subtle times cover the dining room.

I start reading the book again because I don't have anything to do with it, but I'm not comfortable with it.

(You've never been where a child was born. Even when I had a baby at my brother's, it wasn't until quite a while later that I went... because I really didn't have any luck with the kid...)

Tricia returned and soon Nicholas' wife Kate and her daughter Gene came to the mansion.

Normally, Mel's mother Polly or Sharon's mother Claire would also come to help, but they are both waiting at home because childbirth is close.

Gene is also pretty big with seven months pregnant, but I guess Kate brought him in as a good experience.

Kate and the others are getting ready, and the three of us will be outside the mosquito net again.

When I said, "Liddy doesn't have a voice,"

"Because I treat you like a customer. It won't help you until you're born... but it will help you when you're born..."

Grandma Dorothy is a healer, but sometimes she is an old woman seventy years ago, and the healing magic is not much longer available. The other healers in this village are her daughter Camilla and her husband Elmer, but this time in the middle of a storm "Sachima" and cannot come to us to cope with sudden injuries.

Here Liddy's healing magic comes in handy.

I have no experience giving birth, but as a healer, I expect Liddy's arm to be top notch.

"That said, I'm just gonna do what Mr. Dorothy says."

Liddy is grinning with Pello's tongue out.

There is no sign of birth after dinner time.

The storm outside is the same, with a considerable increase in the water volumes of the Arn and Finn rivers to the north and further up the water level of the eastern pond, with the villagers' men responding with a total outing.

So far, no major damage has been done, but the village is nonetheless suffering from evacuation of livestock and reinforcement of houses.

(This storm on the day you're born... I only have a bad feeling about it. Don't think that this might be the work of God's enemies...)

Three hours after dinner, my bedtime is past due, but I can't sleep in this situation. Did my father leave the response to the storm to my grandfather or he wouldn't come out with me in his bedroom?

After another two hours or so, my bedroom panicked in Russia.

"Tricia needs hot water. Kate asked me to bring her a bucket and soap to wash her hands. Gene, get a clean sheet out of there."

Molly's tedious instructions fly away.

I feel a little relieved when I gave birth, especially when I said to clean it up.

(The same goes for the children who are born, but they should also be involved in postnatal fattening of the mother. Hopefully it's conveyed well......)

In fact, four distilled alcohols are available for this birth.

I think it's at least about fifty percent, but I don't know the exact number of degrees because it's not easy to measure. I may be resting, but I'm teaching Molly and the others how to use it.

I think it was about the time the date changed, but Liddy was called by Molly and went into the bedroom where my mother was.

I was lying in my room bed half asleep around that time.

My body asks for sleep, but it's pretty hard in a situation where my head refuses to do that.

My father seems to have been kicked out of his room too, and wandering around in my room is one of the reasons why I can't sleep neatly.

(At a time like this, having nothing to do with a man is the same in all worlds...)

I don't know how many hours have passed since then, but the hallway became more hasty and I woke up with that sound.

Immediately after that, the baby's cheerful crying voice clings to the mansion.

My father heard the voice and rushed out of my room. I follow it with my sleeping eyes, too.

In the hallway were my brother, who came out in the same way, and my grandfather, who came out of the office.

The sight of all the Lockhart family boys standing in the hallway, but no one is willing to laugh.

I can hear the baby crying, but I can't forgive you for ever going inside. When anxiety began to spread to the four of us, we heard the baby cry again.

(If it's not my empty ear, it's a cry for both of us. Maybe...... are they twins?

When my father tried to say something, the bedroom door opened.

Molly with a full smile,

"I'm a healthy twin! Boys and girls. Your wife is fine too!

My father jumps right into the bedroom and my grandfather follows.

Worried that my brother and I could come in, she nodded loudly when she looked at Molly, and she smiled and invited me in, "Sweet little brother, look at you," Daddy, "and sister," Daddy, look at you. "

I hear my mother and my brothers are safe and exhale in relief. But shortly afterwards, the word "sent to God" comes to mind, making me anxious again.

(If one of them is "Destiny Child"... what do I feel...)

I go into my room about after my brother while keeping my anxiety down.

My father hung his words of labor on my mother, and he also conveyed his gratitude to Grandma Dorothy and Liddy.

(You really love your mother, don't you? You almost look like you're crying. Well, it's a moment of destiny......)

A little baby with a sneezy face next to my mother is wrapped in cloth.

Honestly, so much so that I don't know which one is my brother and which is my sister, but I guess this is what a newborn baby looks like.

(That? I don't feel anything in particular. No, I thought it was hard because my mother was safe and happy, or because she was a twin, but I don't feel like God's revelation. He said that God's story would tell if we met, but it doesn't feel like fate meets... are these two different? I'm not sure......)

And I notice the gaze of my father and grandfather staring at me.

When I shook my neck to the side and told them it wasn't, the two had a relieved look in their breath.

(I knew you were both worried. I guess it's something you want your own kids and grandkids to have a happy life because they can be mediocre. I'm the only one who's not mediocre enough...)

Then I told my mother I congratulated her and stared carefully at my younger brothers.

I haven't even opened my eyes yet and honestly don't know who I look like, but I was wrapped up in the feeling of happiness that I had more family.

When my father holds them up, they cry out simultaneously, and the mansion is engulfed in happy noise.

If you noticed, the storm outside also subsided before you knew it.

Each of the twins was named Theophilus and Seraphine. The two will be called Theo and Serra.

The Lockhart family gets busy at once with the birth of the twins. Molly and Tricia look tough being chased into the care of their mother and twins, but they both look like they're working fun.

In July, Polly and Claire gave birth successively.

Polly will have a boy, Claire will have a girl safely, and three people, including her mother, will often be together.

I don't know if it's just hard to milk the twins, or if they have another idea, but it feels like the three of us are raising four babies.

By the way, Polly's son was named Lyle and Claire's son Eunice.

And whether or not it was the "one sent to God” that bothered me the most, neither of them had any particular revelation.

I am optimistic that he will not be born in this village because only the son of Gene, who is later born in September, was not born of three deeply related people.

It's my first brother and sister I've ever had, but I'm drawing my father and mother's blood, so they're both cute babies that are going to look beautiful. I don't deny the possibility of being possessed, but I think it is objectively so.

In mid-July, just before the birth of Polly and Claire, certain two pieces of information reached the village of Rasmore.

The merchants coming from Kilnarek gave me information, the first of which was a continuation of the massive demonic invasion that took place in the eastern part of the Kingdom of Kaum, south of the village, and the second, that a massive demonic crusade took place in Periclitle, the land of adventurers.

Here is a summary of the demonic invasion:

On May 12th, thousands of demonic armies pushed against Fort Thor, the front line of the Kaum kingdom.

Thousands of defensemen were stationed at Fort Toa, but they also struggle with flying demons and other attacks. The Kingdom of Kaum requested support from the countries and, itself, hastened two thousand soldiers to Toa.

On May 25th, the Demonic Army 7,000 made an undamaged offensive and finally fell Fort Toa.

Two thousand reinforcements in the Kingdom of Kaum are information from soldiers who have withdrawn from the fort to find out that they did not make it. He then decided to consider the danger of destroying each of his own forces, inferior in number, and to wait for reinforcements from all countries once he had retreated.

The Royal Kaum Army launches a skilful retreat and flirts with the Demonic Army without causing much damage.

In a month-long retreat, the Royal Kaum Army had been pushed into the vicinity of the main street, Als Street, forming at the foot of a mountain called the Acree Chain, about twenty km east of the street accommodation town of Barbezy.

On June 23, the Royal Kaum Army, which obtained reinforcements from Fortis, the mercenary country, and the Kingdom of Lax, turned away from its previous passive operations and mounted a major offensive.

The Commander of the Royal Kaum Army intends to mount a large-scale interdiction battle in conjunction with reinforcements. Request a thousand five hundred reinforcements from Fortis and a thousand reinforcements from the Kingdom of Lax to hide behind Mount Acreechein and poke behind the demonic armies that will be pursuing them. And it was a maneuver to pull out the Demonic Army in a deceptive act of retreat.

The Demonic Army Six Thousand begins the pursuit of the retreating Royal Kaum Army, but the skilful Kaum Royal Army of the defensive battle slowly retreats west at the foot of Mount Acree Chain while acting late.

Before sundown, when the Demon Army began to wonder if it would still be defensive that day, the Royal Kaum Army suddenly mounted an inverted offensive. Fortis and Lax reinforcements appeared behind the Demon Army to signal it, and agitation ran to the Demon Army.

Fortis mercenaries gaining momentum entered the Demon Army, but the Demon side, outnumbered by the number, managed to stop and, conversely, sought to destroy each.

The Demon Army decides to defeat the reinforcement side first, choosing a small number of Lax troops as targets. But the tenacious battle of Lax's mercenaries stopped the demon movement.

The Royal Kaum Army and Fortis Army, which did not miss that opportunity, mounted an offensive, and the Demonic Army was crushed by an attack from three directions. The Royal Kaum Army persisted in its pursuit, and on June 30th, it was talking about finally recapturing Fort Toa.

The village of Rasmore here was also involved in what happened in Periclitle, the land of adventurers.

Explained from the beginning of the matter is the information on the herd of orcs and orgasms brought to us by Kilnarek at the end of February.

That is, the information conveyed by the Lockhart family was the starting point.

The information was delivered from the Adventurer Guild Branch in Kilnarek to the general headquarters of Periclitle.

Like the Kilnarek branch at headquarters, the credibility of the information was questioned, but just in case, it had been communicated as alert information to the nearby branch.

Typically, the actions of the adventurers become active from around mid-March when the snow melts. And in the same way in the southern city of Periclitle, the adventurers went into the woods to hunt demons moving in the spring.

In mid-April, Kilnarek's Adventurer Guild Branch issued a request for an investigation to follow the Oaks' whereabouts, just in case. An adventurer party that took it stretches its legs north of Kilnarek. And I discovered a massive herd of demons in the woods beyond.

Their discovered flock was a flock of nearly two hundred oaks. The location was about 30 km north of Kilnarek and about 150 km southeast of Periclitle, where the settlement was being built.

Further reports will be received.

Later in April, another party was asked to crusade the giant spider Giant Spider, entering the forest from the village of Thysek, southeast of Periclittle. And he discovered a huge footprint about twenty km east of the village.

That was the footprint of the giant, Auga, more than three meters tall.

Immediately the information will be communicated to the general headquarters of Periclitle. And it was checked against information from Kilnarek delivered two months ago, concluding that there had been a massive demonic movement.

General Headquarters ordered a massive investigation into the adventurers in Periclitle.

The assembled adventurers follow the traces of oak and orga to investigate the forest at the foot of the Aquila Mountains.

On May 15, the flock of oaks appeared to have moved north from the discovered settlement and was again discovered about 25 km southeast of the village of Thysek. Auga was similarly moving northwest and was found about fifteen km north of the village of Thysek.

The General Headquarters will hold an emergency convocation in order to crusade both demons.

On May 20th, a thousand adventurers were convened and moved to the village of Thysek.

On May 25th, he split into five hundred men to begin his march to annihilate the northern and southeastern oaks.

Destroy two hundred orcs and fourteen orgasms in that day with an overwhelming amount. Enemy over a month, but no massive herd was discovered. The expeditious action of the Adventurer Alliance resolved it without causing damage.

This story had a continuation.

I wonder if these two stories are connected.

It is a matter of matching the demonic invasion and releasing orcs and orgasms backwards.

The fact that the Kilnarek branch accidentally obtained information on the oak, coupled with the swift handling of it by the General Headquarters, made it out of time and unable to interact with the invasion operation. If, even in May, orcs and orgasms around Periclitle could not be discovered, some village would have been attacked. Then, to deal with it, the crusade around Periclitle may have been broken.

The leaders thought there were many unnatural things about this oak and orga move.

Why did orcs and orgasms that were supposed to move as instincts travel around Periclitle without attacking villages and towns on the path? Why did you move to surround a small village called Tisek Village?

And why has the Demon Clan suddenly invaded us for not showing any movement in the last few years?

Pedestrians said it seems to be debated in various countries and guilds, but no conclusions have been drawn.

I was listening to that story and remembering what God was saying.

(If this invasion is what the enemies of God have set up... if the invasion is not an end in itself, but a person sent by God, a “Son of Destiny”, who is here to end it... it doesn't fit either. But even the demons are followers of the Dark God (Noctis). I don't think the Dark God (Noctis), one of the twelve pillars of God, commands it. If so, who...)

I'll think about it even more.

(There's too little information to even deduce. Seems irresponsible, but at least this village wasn't the target. I don't care what I think. At least now......)
