Dream Life

Episode 39:

Near the Woodford River in the East Forest, we found a flock of goblins.

Even if we make a detour, we will go through the wind, and the enemy will notice us, so we will take an ambush. We were going to join the attack, and each one of us was starting to prepare.

I unload the back sac on my back, hold the round shield in my left hand, and check the position of the sword.

Mel is pulling out the short sword and showing his motivation. Dan had a bow hanging on his shoulder in his left hand, pulling one arrow out of his hips arrow barrel.

Sharon stood behind me, with nothing to do in particular. But in his eyes he can see the colour of fright, and his hands look a little trembling.

"Sharon, if you're scared, you don't have to use magic. Instead, stay with me."

Sharon shook his head sideways at my words,

"It's okay. But... thank you..."

"Okay. But don't hit Hector or the Guys if you're wrong. And don't use too much magic."

Sharon nodded small, trying to eat up his teeth a little and stopping his hand from trembling.

(I'm an eight-year-old girl, so I don't have to... Sharon's trying so hard. You can't make me look like I'm different... don't be drunk by fear. The enemy is kinda goblin......)

I gradually regain my cool with Sharon's healthy appearance.

Guy who went scouting came back.

"Twenty-one goblins. There doesn't seem to be any special individuals. What will you do?

Hector interrupts Guy immediately.

"Me and Guy, Rob ambush with a bow. Will will escort the Zacks. Don't get distracted because a shot leak could come out."

When the Guys nod, they turn to us,

"Master Zach is invited to join me in the ambush. Can Sharon come too?

When me and Sharon snort,

"Then shoot the magic at my signal. Dan, Mel. You attack only the approaching enemy. There might be a rushed goblin coming this way."

Confirming that Dan and Mel nod, Hector quietly splits the grass in with a low profile.

Me and Sharon follow it, followed by Dan and Mel, plus Will.

Moving on for about two minutes, I saw a little goblin-like figure in the river plains on the Woodford River.

As we approach it slowly, its appearance gradually becomes clearer.

Once upon a time, the way I asked my grandfather - green skin on my short body, small horns on my forehead - stayed put and I was excited to forget the tension of battle when I first saw Monster, the demon of the fantasy world.

(This is the first monster I've ever seen. I feel tempered that goblins are the first, but you're really here. I was also impressed when I saw Liddy the Elf, but that was a bigger surprise that it was too beautiful. This time it's a real demon. Something's freaking me out......)

One goblin looked at us when we approached a distance of about thirty meters. Then point this way and call it the key key key.

Put that on the signal. Hector's "Attack initiated!" The voice echoes.

Arrows are released from Hector, Guy and Rob's long bow. Three arrows pierce the chest of three goblins, and the goblins panic.

I will set a goblin as my goal and cast a “Swallow Winged Blade” spell.

"I am the god of the wind (Wentus) who presided over many of the winds of" Again ". Give me a swallow of heavenly blades. I will not give you the power of my life. Dance! Swallow Winged Blade (Swallow Cutter)!"

A clear blade swordfish flies out of my right hand.

The swordfish head for Goblin, which is about twenty meters ahead at a fierce speed. The goblin also seems to have noticed my magic, and I stand up to slap the swordfish off with the stick in my hand.

The moment the goblin waves the stick down, he slightly re-orbits and turns it away, and a swordblade of swordfish pierces the throat of the goblin.

Not long before he screams, he slits his carotid artery, blows bright red blood up like a fountain and falls.

Next to me, Sharon, who unleashed the magic of "Swallow Winged Blade” in the same way, cleaves to plunder the right side of one goblin's neck. The goblin is holding his neck in haste, but the red blood falls zero out of the gap between his fingers. The magical swordfish went further towards the goblin next to it without losing momentum.

And he stuck it straight under the ear of the neighboring goblin and vanished.

Shortly afterwards, as two goblins erupted their blood, they fell.

(Yum! If I cleave with wings, can I attack more than one? I can't beat you either...)

In the meantime, Hector's arrows pierce the goblins. Soon Dan was also on the offense, definitely damaging the goblins.

Still, more than ten goblins were intact, and they recovered from a temporary panic, screamed like crazy, and turned toward us.

"Intercept with a sword! Will! I asked you to talk to me about the Zacks!

To that word I pull out my hips sword and stand before Sharon.

"Mel! To my right! Dan! Drop the bow and come to my left! Sharon will never get out of behind me! Will! Be careful not to get turned around back!

I'll fly instructions to Will the escort with the three Mels.

Hector and the others pull out their swords and spread to be our shields.

The goblins rush in like they hit an avalanche, but Hector and Guy's swords are brilliant and several goblins are slashed away.

Rob, the hunter, didn't like the sword, was attacked from left to right by two goblins and was desperate. But the enemy's stick seemed to have hit his tibia hard, and he fell to squat on the spot.

"Will, cover Rob!

Will takes my instructions, but he gets stuck with Hector's instructions, and he was worried.

That's when the goblins gather around him to see if they thought it was easy to give Rob the fallen. I gave Will strong instructions again.

"Will! Go! Rob's in danger!

To my cry, he decided to go forward.

At that time, I was feeling pretty excited about my second fight in action.

There was no primitive fear like when the wild dogs attacked me, I just didn't feel any fear at all that I seemed to see just a target against the goblins poking into the dark clouds. Adrenaline was running all over her body, and feelings similar to joy were gushing over defeating her enemies.

"Mel, Dan. We're going to defeat the enemy that's falling out!

When I say that out loud, I lay down my sword, but Mel and Dan on the side move is hard.

If you look closely, the two swords look trembling.

(I was the only one rising. It could have been a failure to let Will go forward. Liddy told me not to get on with it......)

I make as calm a voice as I can to the two nervous,

"Compared to your uncle and Walt's wooden sword, that stick is no big deal. Remember the training."

I felt like two shivers had stopped slightly in my words. Three goblins came running in front of us, not long before we could make sure of it.

Though the goblin of the short body, he was taller than me, and from that disappointing body he felt a strong sense of oppression "pressure".

Goblins standing in front of me laugh ugly and wave sticks at us for judging us easy prey. But thanks to that blunt, sloppy move, I was getting my spare time back.

"It's full of gaps!

I shake my arms up and aim for the empty goblin dovetail, screaming for the Mels to hear me. He penetrated his body as if to hit him, and put his sword into his soft belly.

The feeling of a butch where the sword breaks through the thick skin of the goblin, and the feeling of passing between the zubuzub and the soft gut, and finally the feeling of a gogi hitting a hard bone, remains in the hand.

My sword was poking deep into Goblin's plentiful belly, leaving that feeling behind. The goblin slowly falls on his back with the eyes of incredibility.

I feel nauseous with that disgusting feeling, but Mel and Dan are still fighting to the death on the side, and I was forced to tighten that feeling out of my consciousness.

When I looked to the right, I saw Mel, who regained his normal movement, slash Goblin's arm clean off. Shortly afterwards, he was stabbing a sword backwards on Goblin's back crouched on the ground with pain and stabbing a stop.

(Mel's fine. Dan would do better......)

On my left, Dan was masterfully using the dagger to flirt with the goblins. Goblins had many small scratches on them, but just as daggers don't inflict fatal injuries.

I'll make sure there's no new enemies around, and then I'll head to Dan's support.

Goblins angry with Dan don't notice me approaching from behind.

I slashed the enemy's back from behind.

Goblin turned to me with an angry look as blood erupted from his back, but Dan didn't miss that gap. He stuck a dagger in the flank of the goblin, and the fatally wounded goblin made the sound of a dosalie and fell to the ground.

I looked around and said, "Dan, Mel, Sharon! You all right! Don't be alarmed!" He was screaming.

But the battle is already over by then, and I notice Hector watching us as he bows a little further away.

"Brilliant, Master Zach. Are you hurt?

Apparently, the last one was watched by Hector.

(Did you give me a chance to fight in action? And the smell of blood is amazing. Is this the fight...)

Seeing Hector smile, I finally regained my cool.

More than ten goblins have been slaughtered and killed around, punching blood and guts.

When the excitement pulls off, the smell of blood like iron and the smell of faecal urine coming out of my gut makes me nose, and I'm about to get nauseous.

I was nauseated, and I remembered Rob, who was hurt.

"Is Rob okay? Looks like he was hurt.

Rob seems to be holding down his right leg and squatting and still in pain as he sweats.

I make sure I can afford my magic power (MP),

"Hang the healing magic. Show me where you got hurt."

His right leg tibia was swollen greatly. He doesn't seem to have a fracture, but he looks like he's bruised pretty bad.

"A great tree god (Albor) who made the woods. Heal the wounds of his Ka by the power of the Spirit who nourishes life. I don't give my life for the price. Healing Power (Heel)"

Rob's foot swelling gradually pulls off and his expression softens.

"I think this has healed, but does it still hurt?

to my words. He shook his head to the side,

"You really are amazing as rumored, Zacharias Fong. It really helped."

I can bow my head many times, but I control it with my hands, and I say, "Hector, what other loser?," he hears, but he grins, "It's just Rob," he shakes his neck to the side.

I seem to have broken the thread of tension there, and I'm about to get into the spot.

Looking back, Mel and the others are all sitting on the ground and it looks like the thread of tension is already broken. The three of them were staring at the goblin body they had defeated with a vain look.

I go to the three of them and work one at a time.

"Mel, the blow you just took off your arm looked like your uncle. Well done."

I get a happy look on Mel's face at my words.

Next, head over to Dan's,

"It's hard to cross enemies with a dagger. And the arrows hit me right."

Dan snorts, blushing too.

And sit in front of Sharon, who is most relieved,

"The magic was amazing earlier. I can't believe I only beat one in one shot, but I beat two in one magic."

Sharon doesn't react much when he hears my words. On the contrary, all of a sudden, you return it to me, and it starts to rattle and tremble.

I held her hand with my left hand, not dirty with goblin blood,

"Were you scared at the end? Right. I was scared to be trained by my uncle like us... and don't worry, there's no more goblins"

Sharon, who had tears in his eyes, noticed my hand and seemed a little calm.

Confirming that the three of them had settled down, I asked Hector if I could wipe the blood off the shallow waters of the river, "I'd like to shed this goblin's blood..."

"Okay. Guy! Rob! Please escort Zach and the others."

We head to the banks of the Woodford River, where the goblins were "tumbling", where we wipe the blood of the goblins on our hands and bodies by hand.

Mel, who slashed his arm off, was the most blood-returning, with a little blood on his face as well.

I have blood creeping around my right hand and chest, too, and it's hard to fall off.

I just dropped it somewhat and realized that the smell was still there,

"Let's take a bath when we get home. If it wasn't for the water, the smell wouldn't be coming off."

I washed away the blood paste on my sword and wiped it off with a cloth brought back the feeling when I suddenly stabbed the goblin to death. I stared into my own hands,

(I've never killed a man-shaped demon with this hand before... guilt or no repentance. But I don't like that feeling, that complicated feeling when you break through the skin, cleave the meat, and break the bones... do I ever kill people with this hand one day too...)

As I stared at my hand, Sharon sounded worried.

She was in the rear, so she wasn't getting blood back, but she was following along.

"Did you hurt your hand? Are you okay?"

He worries me as I peek into my face.

I laughed and said, "I'm fine. No injuries," he answers, showing his palm, "thank you for worrying," and stroking Sharon's head like a pound.

She was blushing as she blushed, whining that it was good.

The blood of the sword is also wiped and we return to where the battle took place.

Goblin's body had been collected in one place and Will had recovered the Demonic Crystal Stone.

Hector teaches three people other than me how to take the Demon Crystal Stone, and each of the three helps collect the Demon Crystal Stone. Exactly couldn't seem to do it with one shot, but a few repetitions will allow all three of them to successfully take out the Demonic Crystal Stone.

And each of us gets a commemoration of the Goblin's Demonic Crystal Stone that we defeated, and the three of us are happy to show each other.

I was thinking about the three Mels in front of a pile of goblin bodies.

(All three, including Sharon, have adapted to this situation. For lack of common sense as a Japanese like me, maybe I can adapt, but it's amazing to be able to laugh in front of a bloody demon's body. I'm probably the least adaptable of these...)

Think about other demons being invited to the smell of blood, and as soon as you take out the Demonic Crystal Stone, you leave for the village.

On the way Rob, the hunter, found a splendid stag.

The stag is about a hundred meters ahead, and he approaches carefully, hiding the giant well. I was watching closely.

(Exactly a hunter. Unnoticed by vigilant deer. I guess the level of secrecy and sign perception is quite...)

When he approached about thirty meters, the deer began to see the perimeter as a chirp, whether they perceived the danger.

(Thirty m? It's not the right distance, but there's nothing you can't guess... no Rob?

While I was being blinded by the deer, Rob dived into the grass and was out of sight. For that reason, I had completely lost sight of him. Like me, the stag seems confused by the signs of disappearance.

(Hidden skills are quite troublesome. If even Rob's giant can't detect where the wild deer are, I'm totally ambushed by amateurs. Let's just say I'll keep my signs detection and covert skills as high as I can......)

Looks like the stag decided it was a mistake and starts eating grass again.

As the stag's neck went into the grass, Rob stood up and let go of the arrow.

The stag looked at Rob, who stood up, honking like a whistle named Pii, and tried to escape to jump.

But Rob is releasing an arrow faster for a moment and hits the back foot of the stag beautifully.

The stag tries to pull his leg together and escapes, but he couldn't avoid Rob's next arrow because he was shot through the back leg of the leap. A second arrow pierced the stag's neck and the deer fell as-is.

Beginning with Hector, happy to have hunted a big man but other than me, I had been made to think about what I was going for in my current hunt.

(I don't want to be a soldier. Better than a squarely grand battle, you should aim to not be outplayed by your opponent, to outrun your opponent. Sign detection and covert skills are useful for this purpose. They should have both been talent level three, so they should be pretty good at it. But who do you learn that from...)

Unfortunately, my reference skills can only be seen in my own.

(Do we still have to ask the gentleman? I wonder how I would react if I said I wanted to improve my skills in scouting.)

After the treatment of the stag, he proceeded again through the woods, but without meeting the demons, he arrived safely in the village.

Rob says it's a healing magic thank you, and he offers a tailored deer.

That's just the treatment for bruising. I say no to that, but Rob says, "It's how I feel. Can't you take it? ♪ And I don't show a bare gesture to pull ♪

Trouble, I said, "I'll get some meat. Will you deliver it tomorrow, too," but I'm not convinced. Guy got me in between and finally convinced me with his promise to bring the finest parts at their best.

After I broke up with Rob, I asked Guy why he held him that far.

"If you get hurt enough to be unable to move in the woods, it can lead to death. Exactly this time there was Lord Hector and me and Will, so there's nothing like dying, but having an injury healed in the woods is synonymous with having a life saved for a hunter."

The situation is the same not only for hunters, but also for adventurers, who say survival rates change dramatically between parties with and without healers.

"If Master Zach becomes an adventurer, it's a lot of deductions. If you can use swords, attack magic, and healing magic, you'll be able to get in at that age and at a first-rate party."

Generally speaking, the percentage of the healer population is roughly one in a hundred. Furthermore, the healer is a vital person needed by the village and is greatly valued. As a result, few become dangerous adventurers and originally have little supply.

They say there are usually four to six adventurer parties, and when all parties seek healers, there will be an overwhelming demand for supply.

It is also very popular to be a healer who can fight because entering that small party with a healer who is not good at combat can lead to a loss of strength at once.

In fact, they say that adventurers and mercenary healers often combine archers and don't lead to as much power down as I think.

(I see. Like Liddy, bows are top notch, and I guess healers who can use even more offensive magic are valuable. The healer of this village doesn't go into the woods, and if he suffers such a major injury that he can't move in the back of the woods, he'll have to die... still one deer is a big one)

Once, return to the mansion and report to your grandfather on the battle with Goblin.

My grandfather was rarely surprised when Hector reported our results.

"I'm not surprised Zach defeated one by one with magic and sword, but I'm surprised Sharon took two with magic and Mel and Dan took one with sword. Non is going to forget the age of these children."

Hector will tell you more about me.

"Nor was I surprised that Master Zach defeated Goblin, but it seemed to me that you would see a veteran commander giving instructions to the Mels. Will was also working at the behest of Master Zach... and if you have that much perspective, it would be strange to be in a position to lead the army in the future..."

Hector seemed to be watching me from the middle of nowhere.

I was listening to that report in a ticklish way, but I saw myself dirty with blood,

"Uncle, there's nothing to report from me, so I'm going to take a bath"

I joined Mel and headed to the public bath south of Kanga Hill.
