Contrary to what it may look these days, his job isnt pressuring him.

Out of all the career paths, he could choose as an idol. He decided to be a model because seeing Iwa Kasumi standing on that stage, genuinely inspired him. Even now the memories of the girl's performance remained in his mind. A runway performance isn't easy, and yet she handled it so easily. Seeing her that way, so happy and shining so brightly made him think. He also wanted to shine like that, to find his own radiance.

His work isn't the cause of his low appetite. While the nature of his work requires maintaining a slim figure, but unlike girls, there's no need to overdo it. The reason he could not eat is because of the news regarding Iwa Kasumi getting a boyfriend. He knew that she would eventually get a boyfriend again. But, he expected it to be Igarashi. It's strange for him to be saying this, but if it was Igarashi. He would have been okay with it.

Does he think that way because of what happened before? Perhaps, that's the case. He isn't sure. But, one thing is for sure. If Kasumi went back to dating Igarashi Wataru, he wouldn't feel this awful.

His thoughts broke off when he heard familiar voices in the room at the end of the corridor. Oh, they're both here already. Once he arrived at the end of the hall, he stopped in front of the door he heard the voices. The door was slightly open, and he could make out the figures on the couch. Sure enough, when he opened it. He could see senpai on top of Lila-chan, kissing her heavily.

Although he knew of their somewhat s.e.x.u.a.l relationship, this was the first time he saw it in person. Upon seeing him, Haruka pulled away, with a deep scowl on his face.

"Tsk, what bad timing. Just when I was about to do it." Haruka said with a defeated look on his face.

"Wh—what- I told you no!" Lila exclaimed as she moved away from senpai.

"Why are you acting so stubborn? It's only s.e.x."Haruka sighed and shook his head.

"You may think like that senpai, but, not all people do."

He has seen no one fight with senpai like this before. It's interesting. They act like a married couple.

"Time to discuss work."Mikami reminded him.

"Right."Haruka kisses Lila's lips one more time and murmured something about continuing later. Before senpai turned to him and asked, "Do you have the doc.u.ments?"

"...."

The girl was looking at him in complete disbelief before she thrust the files at him and made her way to the other room.

"… What did I do?" Haruka said in disbelief.

Haruka wore a genuinely puzzled expression and Mikami deeply sighed.

"Senpai, you don't understand a girl's emotions."

Rather, it's surprising. With senpai being even more of a womanizer than him. You'd think he would understand the feelings of the girls he's messing around with.

"Were at work, she should conduct herself more sensibly."

Says the person who just harassed her? There's no doubt that Lila-chan was doing work before. Mikami gives him some advice, and though it looked like he wasn't paying attention.

He gradually faded out the conversation and rushed over to the girl. The girl had purposely slowed down at some point, hoping senpai would catch up to her.. Mikami, watched, amused as senpai whispered something in the girl's ear.

"Alright?"

The girl's gaze softened, and she laughed. "Okay. Ah, I will get changed. I'll be out soon."Lila happily resumed walking to the other room. Once the doors were shut, and Lila was out of earshot.

"See?"

Haruka exhaled deeply.

"I'll credit you for that. But, I won't regard to your own situation."

"Now senpai this isn't about me."

If this were a story, then this wouldn't be his tale. The focus is on senpai story with Lila-chan. As for him, he's like a ship passing by in the night. Fleeting and brief. Mikami is glad when senpai didn't ask any further. The older man seemed to be deep in thought for a while before he spoke up.

"Hey, Mikami."

"Hm?"

"The second year uniform, the buttons. How would you go about removing it?"

For someone who usually just tears clothing away, this is strangely considerate of him. Mikami quickly informed him and just as he finished explaining. Lila re-emerges wearing the school uniform, and Mikami saw senpai's gaze on the girl, examining her from head to toe and picturing what he said to him. Oblivious and clueless, Lila-chan took a seat beside senpai.

"Senpai, can I, write a song for Hamano-kun?"

Mikami looked at her with wide eyes. Wait. What? Where did that come from? Mikami didn't have time to voice out his thoughts since the two were already discussing it.

"Well, I was thinking the same. But is it fine?"

"Ah-huh, I want to write him a song," Lila said so with such confidence, that left Mikami pondering.

Last year (2034) Universal S Academy - Main Building Rooftop-

Mikami followed the source and made his way up the stairs to the rooftop. Once he got up there, the sight of a girl with wavy long black hair and violet eyes, humming while playing the guitar greeted him.

How beautiful.

Seeing the uniform of the goddess 4, Mikami nodded quietly to himself.

"Ah --! You --!"

Shoot, he will get in trouble if a regular student notices. He should have at least borrowed a uniform or something. As Mikami was thinking about what to do she grabbed hold of his hands, "Mikami-kun? Right? Kasumi told me a lot about you."

Right, when he saw that scene before. He d.e.s.i.r.ed it. But he wondered about now. Does the present him deserve to sing this girl's song? Mikami managed a nod and noticed the girl take out a notebook, but what puzzled him was, that she opened the book halfway. He heard from the others she usually uses separate journals, for different people when it came to composing.

But, how a—the sudden realization dawns on him and his eyes go wide. Could it be, from that time? He thought it was just him who felt a connection, but perhaps it was the same for her too.

Since a long time ago, this girl already understood. The sudden realization dawned on him as he recalled his father's words. His father used to say that they would eventually meet and when they made a connection would form.

'No matter what shape or form it takes. Terashima Lila will become an important presence in your life, just like that person was in mine.'
