As he thought that, Kiryu heard the girl's phone beeping. The screen lit up and since it didn't have a passcode, or at least she must have left it unlocked since the message she only just received was visible to him.

. . . . Only a few, sentences, and yet Kiryu could sense how much Kanehara cares about Lila. He retraces back to last year when the guys in RAY first came. How strange. Back then, the one doing the talking was Hamano. Even, during the one-day getting to know a thing. Maybe he's just over thinking it, Hamano isn't fit to watch Lila with the Kasumi situation right now. The other guy is useless, so Kanehara is the only choice. There is nothing more to it than that. Kiryu understands that better than anyone. But in the back of his mind, something feels wrong.

Kiryu's thoughts broke, finding the girl staring at him.

"Uh. It's not that, your phone was beeping.."

"All done," she exclaimed.

"What did you do?"

"Whenever I get a message from a guy, you'll get it too."

Kiryu is speechless but nodded.

Well, he's relieved.

But, should he really be happy about it?

What if they try to flirt with her on text? He doesn't want to see it.

Seeing the girl stare at his phone for longer, he gives it back to her, and she immediately fiddled with it.

"Liar!!!" Lila exclaimed.

Huh?

Kiryu picked up the phone and spotted the chat history with Rosalia.

"Lila, I didn't click on any of the videos trust me."

"But you saw the pictures!"

Well, he can't avoid it since it's automatic.

Gee, she's cute when she gets jealous.

Seeing her not budging, he walked over until he was in front of her. Only to find, instead of her being angry, a beautiful shade of red dyed the girl's cheeks. Oh. He stared at her for a good few minutes, before she exploded.

It isn't funny at all. She's right about that. Instead, he finds her even more beautiful than usual. Kiryu brushed the stray hairs from her face and looked her up and down. He's been thinking this since earlier, but how is it possible that she's gotten even more beautiful than before? His hands traced each part of her face, slowly, causing her already red face to heat more. Lila, however, doesn't stop him. Instead, nervously lets him.

"Are you, going to let me take advantage of you?"

His words must have struck something inside her since she hits his c.h.e.s.t with her pretty hands. He chuckled, seeing her puffed cheeks.

"Besides, you're the pervert. Not me."

"Define pervert, Lila." he brought his lips to her ear once again and felt the girl shudder at the sensation. She's adorable.

He suddenly felt her hands wrap around his own, and Kiryu blinked surprised.

He lifted his head and brushed his hand on the bandages behind her bangs. Upon seeing him, she immediately got rid of the large one and fixed her hair up. But, he already saw from the distance and traces of a serious, fresh, injury remained.

"My Kiryu?"

"You got hurt."

"Ah-huh, I think it was drugs."

"...!"

Drugs.

He recalled Rosalias words.

'Kiryu-kun, try it out. It's a new drug'

Can't be. But whenever he thinks of drugs and even more so the incidence a few months back. Rosalia is suspicious. He thought too that the moment Lila left. She would come to him. His gaze softened at the girl's words, he looked at the girl lovingly and placed a kiss on her forehead, "Yeah, and tell me more. About the people you have met, and the sights you have seen. I'll do the same too, but there's not much to say."

Ever since she left, he spent every day in agony.

Lila cheerfully replied, "En, okay!!"
