Dream Star

The next few minutes were a severe test of his resolve, especially after she added to her comment with a serious and yet embarrassed look. She asked him if it was wrong. A few minutes had gone by, but he is rendered speechless still. Damn, this girl. Two hours have hardly passed, and he's already losing control. Kiryu's thoughts broke off on seeing how Lila had wrapped her arms around his neck, and brought her lips there, sniffling. He paused, realizing.

"My Lila, are you hungry?" Kiryu asked.

Lila immediately nodded, "Ah-huh, it smells nice. ..."

He should have noticed.

"Go ahead. ..."

Lila wasted no time.

She's biting rather harshly, well, it has been a while, and they refrained from it before she left. Since it would ruin the atmosphere, it's the same this time too, but, she probably couldn't help it, with them being like this. And it must be awful for her now. Though Kiryu didn't comment on it, the girl's appearance surprised him. She's so frail and skinny now. No, wonder she got injured. The energy stone most likely helped her avoid any life-threatening injuries; however, with her present state, using her powers is dangerous. He ought to lecture her a bit.

Kiryu felt Lila suddenly pulled back and blinked, is she done already? That was fast. "She was sick; that's why you were late?"

"Uh..." Kiryu trailed off; she already saw that much?

"So I'm not your priority anymore Kiryu."

Huh?

Lila's expression immediately becomes downcast. Wait, wait, hold on. It doesn't take long before the girl slipped out of his arms. He thought she would return to her seat, but seeing her walk towards the door. Kiryu quickly got up and grabbed her.

"All right you, listen."

Lila broke free of his hold, and slaps his hand, "Nuh-uh, I'm angry."

Geez...

Well, he supposed it's natural to she misunderstood. And earlier. He definitely can't say Selia hugged him and gave him a hickey because she mistook him for someone else. The name Selia said though was familiar. It's been bothering him this entire time. But that can wait.

As of this moment, Lila was angry and crying.

"Hey, do you really think I'd cheat on you?"

"But Kiryu, she's pretty," Lila said.

Kiryu explained to her how he hasn't seen Selia in female garments since then, and she relaxes slightly. But, a frown was still on her pretty face, and he could guess why. He turned her around and cupped Lila's cheeks. Despite her being in this state, he could see how red she was getting, "Do you remember, what I said to you repeatedly before you left?"

Though sobbing still, Lila replied, "You said, you won't be alone with another girl.."

"Right. And that's how things have been.."

"Didn't she stay over?"

"That one time. But Shichiro crashed with us too since he came back for a while."

Lila tilted her head in confusion before slowly nodding. She still seemed to process something in her head before she reached over and brushed her fingers across the markings on his neck.

Ah.

"A dog bit you?"

"Ah-huh, but even if it's the work of an animal. I want no one near you my Kiryu. My Kiryu, you're mine. " Lila said this while she wrapped her arms around his neck.

His gaze softened at the girls words and actions, she must have missed him a great deal.

When she; finally calmed down. Lila is embarrassed.

But, when she thought about how that girl is frequently with Kiryu, she felt uncomfortable. It seemed like that girl did something to Kiryu. Lila, however, couldn't see it; maybe, because Kiryu doesn't care. Or perhaps he's hiding it from her? No, she didn't get that impression from him.

Lila rushed over to the deck, "It looks yummy!!!"

The food looks like it's sparkling. She should take a photograph. Lila cheerfully took out her phone and snapped photographs while she hummed a melody. Even though it's already the 22nd, she doesn't mind. This is the best birthday dinner she's had. After she snapped a few shots, Lila feels his gaze on her and blinks.

"What is it Kiryu?"

"I was just thinking; you haven't changed at all."

She hasn't? But she's different now. Lila looked at him with wide eyes. Somehow, it feels like his housewife skills improved. Maybe, she was making it visible since his lips meet hers.

"Quit thinking strange things; I'll punish you."

Wah! Kiryu's, punishments.

"What about if I want to be punished?" Lila wondered out loud. Bright laughter followed her words.

"Well, like I said. After dinner and watching the stars."

They'll watch the stars after this?! She has to hurry and eat. Lila turned to the food and quickly

gives the spoon to Kiryu.

"Pfft okay, open your mouth."

"Ahh~."

The moment she opened her mouth, instead of finding the spoon making contact. Lila found Kiryu's tongue on hers. He had swallowed the food and was giving it to her. Lila's senses go blank; her brain turned to mush at the feeling of Kiryu's lips on hers.

She's panicking, uwaah--uwaahhh? Uwaaah? What? What?

What? What? Lila repeats this over and over until Kiryu lets go of her.

Kiryu, however, remained calm, as he poured her a cup of water, "Have water."

Wh--wh--why is Kiryu feeding her this way?

She's speechless for a while until she's done swallowing.

"I want to see you embarrassed for me."

Lila scolded him, while she stuttered, "..Wah. Dummy! Quit being silly. Y—you used ...your um tongue too much."

Kiryu looked at her with an expression that read, 'and?'. He's silly. Doesn't Kiryu understand, it's been awhile? Lila didn't forget about his touches, but, her resistance isn't as good as it used to be. She's forgotten how to prepare for his advances.

"Alright, my turn."

"...."

Hearing laughter, her eyes go wide realizing.

"My Kiryu, ah you're bullying me!"

Lila puffed her cheeks up in a pout, but she isn't sulking long when she catches his tender gaze on her. He's silly, her Kiryu. Lila gently c.a.r.e.s.ses his cheeks, and he smiles, "Missed touching me?"

"Ah-huh, dummy, moron."

A slight chuckle escaped Kiryu's lips, "Pff."

Lila asked directly, "My Kiryu, after this. When can I see you again?"

Even if they can contact each other on the phone and occasionally video chat, it won't be the same; she wanted to touch Kiryu, to feel his warmth against hers.

He must have read her thoughts since he kissed her hands, "I'll imprint everything about me carefully tonight so that you won't forget."

"Uwaah.."

Kiryu reassured her, by kissing her eyelids, nose, lips gently as he softly murmured, "Sssh, it's okay. Meeting frequently is impossible. But once every month is doable."

Once every month, Lila repeated this to herself before she exclaimed. "It's like Orihime and Hikoboshi!

Kiryu chuckled, "Pfft, that's once in a year isn't it?"

"But, it's the same." Lila insisted.

"Mmm, well true. A month equals as a full-on year for some Hanyou's. My pretty Lila, not seeing you for so long will destroy me. As I'm sure, it will do you. But, stay strong okay?"

Stay strong.

But she's always crying.

After the dinner meal. Lila watched as Kiryu set up the telescope and chairs. Her Kiryu told her to stay strong. But he also said it would destroy him being apart from each other. Contradictory! He's contradictory. "All right, this should be oka---" he paused in mid-sentence and laughs, "Come over here, I don't know what crazy things you're thinking in your beautiful mind. But this is flirting part 2."

"Flirting part 2!!"

She immediately rushed over to where he set up the beanie bags and comfortably sits on his l.a.p. Kiryu wrapped a blanket around her. But, she immediately frowned and fixed it, and put it around them both.

Lila laughed happily, "En, better."

She felt ticklish because of the sensation of his warm breath in her neck. Is--is he being silly again? Or maybe she's just too self-conscious. They've already done so many intimate things before. But even now it makes her so nervous, she wondered why.

"So, he does this to you?"

!! Wah.

"Lila...it's okay to like him, love me more. Choose me in the end."

Sensing his tone, she c.a.r.e.s.sed his hair with her fingers, "Okay...Okay, Kiryu. Don't worry."

It's true that sometimes it felt like Haruka has swayed her heart. But, even then she would always think back to Kiryu. She'll always love Kiryu the most. It is impossible for her heart to be moved by another person.

"Mm, well now should be a good time."

She heard a rattling sound, and in the next second, something was on her neck.

Ah! A necklace!!

Her eyes brightened, holding up the pendant around her neck. "It's sparkling exactly like the stars! My Kiryu!!"

"Mmm. For you. Your birthday present.."

Did her Kiryu make this? The craftsmanship is impressive. Lila examined it carefully. The center circle was a mixture of various colors, exactly like the night sky. Different shades of purple, blue, all mixed. From a first glance, it would look like a pure aura, but Lila upon closer inspection saw the stars. A milky way, how beautiful. She can feel that he infused some of his powers in this too. Her gaze softens, she must worry him. It quite surprised Lila when she received no lecture; the moment he saw her. After this, she should tell him everything. She is focused on the necklace and didn't notice Kiryu's expression change.

When she is pushed down on the ground suddenly, Lila didn't have to look in the mirror to know how red her face was. "M—My Kiryu?" Lila stammered. She recalled his words about after dinner and immediately wanted to hide. But Kiryu had trapped her hands.

Kiryu wore a composed look, his silver hair reflecting against the moonlight, "I'll engrave everything slowly. So you remember everything."
