Chapter 76 - Blank (8) (Edit)

Light Academy Base.

Lately, all he does is show Lila his weak side. Does he want her to stay with him out of such feelings?

"Why are you making miso soup?" Haruka asked. Indeed, the last thing he expected to find when he woke up was the girl using the mini kitchen.

"Because you like it," Lila said, without looking up. She continued to stir the contents in the pot and occasionally add things in.

Her words surprised him, and he ran his hand through his hair and asked her, "Who did you ask?" Which idiot blabbed that information to her?

"Mikami-kun."

Geh. Why does that guy know what he likes?

Where did she get the ingredients for it? There's a kitchen here, but nobody cooks. What's more, he's surprised. Mikado is around, and he's undoubtedly watching them and yet. In the time he was sleeping, didn't think to harass her.

Haruka shook his head; he is overreacting; it isn't time, however. Before then he will find a solution.

His thoughts broke of finding the girls gaze on him, "What?"

Lila nodded to herself and replied, "It's okay to hug me."

He walked over and wrapped his arms around her, inhaling the girl's sweet scent in the process.

"Normally, you'd say this disturbs you." he murmured against her blue locks. The color still seemed odd to him; in contrast to the luscious black hair, she had.

"That's right. But today it's fine."

"On the phone..earlier..your boyfriend?" He asked, despite knowing already.

"Yes..."

"Does he know?"

"I told him."

....

She is honest. One usually wouldn't say it, but knowing her, she must have said it up front. "Sorry." Haruka apologized. The words left his lips before he knew what was going on.

Lila shook her head and turned around, "It's okay; you were just jealous."

He was.

After all, he's never seen such a happy expression on her face before.

"Your interview...I rescheduled it for later."

"Ah, okay. They weren't suspicious?" Lila asked.

"Well.." They were. But he wasn't in the right state of mind to come up with an excuse.

His thoughts broke off when he felt the warmth of the girl's hand on his cheek. She.."Then, we can relax for a bit?"

Haruka paused..."That's okay with you?"

"Yes."

He pulled her onto the bed.

He found her shifting uncomfortably and stopped, "Shall I stop?"

"No um, I just... feels slightly..."

Haruka changed his position; until he was hovering over her, "Haruka..." Lila said.

"You're very beautiful..." Haruka complimented.

Cheeks bright red as a tomato, as she looked at him with a confused expression. "Y-yes?"

She seemed confused; he found that cute.

Their lips are colliding and mixing. Lila got used to it, the taste of his lips. Is Kiryu okay with this? Just doing this with Haruka, feels dangerous. She should have just asked him straight up if the two of them were still dating.

Haruka's mouth is attacking her neck, and she stopped thinking, as she noticed that something was wrong.

"Haruka. .what's wrong?" Lila asked.

"I was jealous. ."

"I see. .. You're like a child," she combed his hair with her fingers, "Don't be jealous...right now, in this place...your the only one I'm close with..."

In this place? But if they went to a place where that guy was? At that thought, Haruka found himself kissing her more aggressively.

"Unngh!"

"Hahn..." Haruka paused, seeing the girls reaction. "What?"

"Your voice was loud," Lila said shyly.

That's such a strange thing to point out. Then again, this whole thing progressed wrong, from the very beginning.

Haruka brought his lips to her ear.

"Haruka?"

"I want to..treat you more especially But it's still going to take some time. Will you bear with me?"

Soft laughter escaped Lilas lips, "Aha, I know. Haruka's still clumsy at this."

"Aren't you bad too?" Haruka said. But he honestly had no base for this and just went along with the flow. Haruka didn't expect her next words.

Lila smiled, but there was something weak about it as she agreed. "That's right..."

6:30 PM

Ever since Jaehee said those words to him, he hasn't forgotten them once. Whenever he gets too deep in his feelings for her, he repeats it to himself. Even if he does get together with her, it certainly won't have a happy ending; there won't be a forever.

They safely managed that interview in school.

Despite all their concerns, the reporters didn't ask about Yumeko, and yet Haruka knows better than to think that they came for a simple interview. Lila is the target, but something's wrong. He's missing something.

"Why do we have to go see them?"

The two of them were on their way to the hotel where they made Yumeko flee too. "Because we have work in that area too for the next few days. So we might as well stay there right?" Lila said.

"Well ...."

That's true.

But, he's not fond of the idea of being so close to Yumeko for the next few days. Will he be alright? After all, he recalled the kiss from earlier and exhaled deeply. Even if he was worked up, what on earth was he doing? His gaze landed on the cheerful girl who was humming a melody. How long must he wait for her? If she makes him wait for too long..

He probably won't be so kind to her anymore. "Haruka!"

"What?"

"Look Haruka the lights are so pretty!" Lila said happily.

The lights are? Haruka looked at where she was looking at but simply saw standard lights. But seeing the girl's happy expression and bright eyes, he asked her, ". .Shall we take a quick detour then?"

"Yes!"

Hotel

Lila is woken up to bright and vibrant light and found the rays of the sun from outside spread across the room. Is it morning already? To celebrate her upcoming success in the screening selection despite the halt on the music award, they all had a party.

Lila didn't see the need to celebrate before she's made a formal announcement. However those guys use whatever opportunity they can to celebrate, yet she glanced around the room, the majority managed to leave didn't they. Kouta-kun isn't here, so he's gone to work already. The idiot fell asleep on the couch; she scanned the bottles leading up to the door. Haruka, is he in the bathroom? Despite how dizzy she was feeling; Lila managed to get up and followed the trail. She knocked on the door.

"Haruka," she called out.

She doesn't hear a sound even after a few knocks and carefully opened the door as she slowly makes her way inside. The blue hair spots him right away curled up and fast asleep on the ground. She bent down and picked up his cigarette pack and emptied it on the ground.

Lila lifted the pack to her nose and caught the scent, what an addicting smell. She supposed she couldn't blame him for this. But, she made her way to the toilet and slowly and began to flush it. One by one, it's fading away. Slowly it's disappearing and becoming nothing again. It's just like that time and yet.

Once she was done Lila knelt down and bends over, "Haruka, you'll catch a cold if you sleep here."

Lila noticed that he wasn't budging, so she used other means. Her lips brushed against his, and she is sure he catches the whiff of her perfume since he stirs in her arms.

"Alright get up, good boy.." Lila said softly.

Lila noted that he suddenly buried his head in her c.h.e.s.t and she sighed deeply, "Are you a child Haruka?"

"Ari stay with me…" he murmured.

So selfish, isn't he? Guess she can't avoid it, it should be alright for a while. It's still 5 am. Breakfast, Haruka should get some proper food too if she leaves after their done here. No, she doesn't have to go. She has a day off. They can spend more time together.

"You smell of my cigarettes.….. . ." Haruka said.

Oh, he's sharp. Lila nodded, "Yes. Because I threw them out just now."

"Those are expensive," Haruka said. But it didn't bother him.

"I'll get you some new ones." Lila continued to comb his hair. Ones that haven't been tampered by anyone.

Haruka softly called her name out, "Ari.."

"Yes, what is it?"

Haruka looked hesitant, and indeed the only words that left his lips were, "Today.."

Lila replied knowingly, "I'll be with you."

"Work?"

Lila laughed softly as a reply, "Did you forget Haruka? I have today off."

Haruka paused and retraced his memory; that's right. She has a day off today.

"Shouldn't you be going to school?" Haruka asked.
