As Duke Elias went to the halls of the mansion. He saw all the ladies blushing not only the ladies the men too. Well he should check that off the bucket list.

Then when he arrived outside and saw Leo who is supposed to spy on other nobles tonight saw Duke Elias and his jaw dropped.

"Turned gay for me, Leo?" Elias said to Leo holding his face bringing it closer to his face. Leo blushed slightly. "M-my l-lord s-stop i-it" Elias laughed and smiled at Leo mischievously. The servants who saw the scene blushed from head to toe. Some started coughing.

"M-my l-lord. C-come t-this w-way" one of the male servants said while blushing. Elias smiled at him before going inside the carriage and the servant blushed. In the entire trip Leo avoided his masters sight.

When Duke Elias came out of the carriage. A sudden ray of light came in front of the people who saw him. Then Duke Elias smiled at them. It became a pool of nosebleed. The pool became worse when Duke Elias came inside the ballroom.

"Hello, Viscount" Duke Elias said to the viscount. The viscount tried to speak and failed a few times and said "H-hello a-and y-you a-are?"

Duke Elias chuckled "How rude of me" The viscount suddenly had chills from his deep voice. "I am Duke Elias, nice to meet your acquaintance Viscount" The Viscount gasped at the man bowing before him. The rumoured Duke Elias is in front of him.

The Viscount started to laugh nervously. "Ha Ha Ha Ha" Elias flashed a smile to him. His smile made Viscount's knees tremble. Before the Viscount could say anything else. Nobles swarmed Duke Elias. The Viscount made a sigh filled with pure relief.

As Elias tried to ward off the nobles he felt a chill in his spine. 'Someone's watching me' Elias thought. He turned around to see but he couldn't see anything due to the ladies coming towards him. 'I need to get out off here' is what Elias thought.

Then trumpets started signalling the King. When the King entered the ball the hall became silent all started to bow to the King. The king looked ordinary if you compare him to his son the Crown Prince. The king who usually had a messy appearance looked clean. People tried to hide their surprise when they saw him but couldn't. Then they all started to bow and Duke Elias followed and saw one was not bowing in the corner of his eyes and that person is in the corner of the ballroom. 'Who is that?'

"Thank You for all attending the ball! I am glad to inform you all we all have a new member of the royal family joining us tonight!" When the king said that people looked started to murmur. Then the King laughed "One of my concubines gave birth to my second son! Prince Alfred!" One of the maids carrying the baby came forward and people cheered.

'The Crown Prince is not liking this' Elias thought grinning to himself and continued to clap. Elias accidentally let out a small girl gasp. 'W-where i-is it coming from' Elias said panicked. He know he felt a murderous intent and it was directed to him. He suddenly remember the person in the corner. The person is gone. 'He's in the crowd' Elias thought. Elias started searching through the crowd.

"Sorry" Elias said bumping into someone taller than him. Elias looked up and saw a man with a startled expression in his face. The man in front of Elias is extremely handsome. He had dazzling pitch black eyes and had beautiful black hair. His looks were Equal to Elias.

"Don't mention it. Seems like you are trying to find someone. May i be any of assistance?" The man said. " No need but thank you sir. If i may be rude may i go?"

"It's fine." Then Elias went off. When Elias went off the man went to an abandoned corridor in the palace.

"Cane." The man said. "Yes, my lord" Cane said appearing out of nowhere.

"Know any information about that man. I never saw him in any social gatherings. " Cane nodded leaving his master. The man went back and saw Elias trying to ward off some young noble ladies.

Then the man saw the king whispered at one of the servants and the servant bowed and went off to Elias.

Elias straightened his back and went forward to the king. Elias bowed down and said "Yes, your highness."

"Lift your head" The king said to Duke Elias. The King looked at Elias with interest. Elias looked up at his enemy and smiled. "Your loyal reports to his majesty"
