Just a few feet away from where the battle between Lan Ranyan and the new comers was occurring, Ye Qing and Ye Qian looked forward at the battle with anticipation, they wanted to check and see for themselves how powerful Lan Ranyan would be after her migration and transformation.

Leito was a bit perplexed as he already seen what Lan Ranyan was capable of and was expecting a bit of a one sided battle from the "Time Mage"

Titiana and Carnalia were looking forward to the battle as well, Zhang Shan did mention that these friends of his were special and the last time they met was 6 years ago.

However, what happened next made their jaws drop in astonishment. This didn't seem to be working as they expected it to. Lan Ranyan has yet to hit anyone at all when things started to turn for the worse.

Before they knew it, she was already hit, and when she did a "time rewind" to heal herself they were expecting a comeback, but that doesn't seem to help out at all as she was constantly being suppressed. Her opponent, Millie, does she need to be that ruthless and condescending?

There wasn't any inch given for a counter attack. What's up with those mid level spells? How come she wasn't affected further by Lan Ranyan's "Time Magic" after she was hit the first time? Wasn't she afraid to be pierced by her own attacks? Is that micro control as well? These questions kept ringing in their heads as they try to recall what transpired. These opponents were definitely at a whole different level.

At first, Ye Qing and Ye Qian wanted to help, However, Ye Qing couldn't even see an opening when to barge in and assist, it seemed that the other with Millie had awareness in the surroundings on a godly level.

When Ye Qing tried to move a bit earlier to change his stance and strike the ground with his foot to advance, He saw the one called Shana roll her eyes in their direction.

Titiania whispered "Don't make any sudden movements... look behind us..."

When Ye Qing slowly turned around as the battle was progressing, he saw that there were different spikes floating behind them ready to strike any moment. There were, Ice, Earth, Water and Fire spikes, He could even hear a very low humming noise which he assumed could be a whirling spike of air.

Seeing this, Ye Qing understood that the others knew where they where and didn't want them to interfere.

Although Zhang Shan asked Lan Ranyan if she wanted to test out his friends, it seemed that Zhang Shan really wanted to test his friends instead. That was what Ye Qing thought.

Ye Qian on the other hand was still rooted at the spot, She barely had the ability to follow the battle with here eyes with the speed that they were exhibiting during the fight. The only few moments she was able to catch up was every time Lan Ranyan was hit.

Leito was also extremely amazed, he did not expect Millie and the rest to be this capable in battle. It seemed that it was true that these guys are capable of destroying a single city in a matter of hours... or even minutes...

On the other hand, Titiana and Carnalia had been watching and were perplexed.

Carnalia was awe struck, she could follow their movements but when Lan Ranyan's opponent, the one they called Millie really started to really move aggressively, she lost her and wasn't able to catch her steps at all.

Titiana on the other hand kept nodding when she saw Lan Ranyan fighting and when she was hit the first and second times, she didn't think it was abnormal, in a fight, everything is legal in order to win. But after Scarlette's explanation on how Lan Ranyan lost, she also became dumbstruck when she found out that everything was premeditated before hand.

The way the battle progressed and with how Scarlette explained it was something she could also agree with. She only heard of players who had skills better than the Gods and Goddess of the Pantheon, they were the first ones to arrive and do battle with the inhabitants of Gaea.... The Kingdom Deleter Team.

In reality, the Kingdom Deleter and Bug Deleters information were not uploaded in the System Notification Servers of "ARC" but in a separate "file" on the server, this is in order to avoid players finding out that the Beta-testers were not the first ones in Gaea and that their records would not overlap with the current players.

It was only after the Kingdom Deleters have dealt with the aftermath of the battle and the Bug Deleters who "cleaned" the past 6 years history of the Kingdoms were they able to send in players for exploration.

Zhang Shan then addressed Lan Ranyan.

"How was it? Were they okay?"

Lan Ranyan harrumphed and said "I'll get back at you later..."

The reason she wanted to postpone venting her anger at Zhang Shan was due to her still thinking and recalling the events that transpired earlier and how she could have avoided those attacks.

Shana spoke to her as if she read her mind and said "You might want to think about ways to defeat us later... For now, try to think of how you can improve your battle tactics and change your fighting habits... Don't think what the enemy would do next, think how you could lead them to where you need them to be at."

Lan Ranyan looked at Shana but didn't say a word.

Scarlette then looked back at Zhang Shan and said "I'm assuming you manipulated her to attack us after you can't win against her... I'm guessing you still haven't gotten used to that body yet, nor with the sudden increase in strength and power?"

Zhang Shan smiled and said " I can manage..."

Maras and Darius looked at each other and then gazed at Zhang Shan.

This did not escaped his notice as he said "Try your best, I won't harbor grudges for anything just yet..."

After he said this, all six of them disappeared consecutively.

Zhang Shan's vision once again started to work in super slow motion, earlier he saw the battle clearly and was able to follow it. Even when Lan Ranyan started to move and use her "Time Magic", he could now see those movements clearly unlike before with her last battle against her. At the same time, he could see the way the "spatial warps" are now appearing as if they are tangible objects and how the void rippled like mercury, unlike with the others who can only "feel" or notice that there was an invisible force around her.

Zhang Shan can clearly see their movement, He knew this not yet their maximum speed though as Millie moved faster earlier.

Scarlette was the first to appear before him and tried to stab him in the throat. Zhang Shan smiled and thought to himself "Still trying to probe huh?"

Zang Shan moved back just enough for Scarlette's right arm to fully stretch to the maximum causing her to miss his throat by a few centimeters. Zhang Shan then saw with clarity how Scarlette's pupils constricted oh his throat after it missed, which meant it was focusing on something . He then turned his head to the left side just in time for Scarlette's dagger to shoot forward as if it was propelled by a force.

Before Scarlette could recover and pull back her arm, Zhang Shan grabbed her elbow with his left hand and dragged it further forward as he ducked under her arm as he turned his body clockwise and used his right elbow to deal a blow on her ribs.

*Crack*

"Arrrggghhh" Scarlette gritted her teeth in pain

Bone Rib was broken when it connected. The force itself was enough to push Scarlette upward a bit. That was when Maras appeared just behind her to cushion her body with his right hand and then made a turning sidekick to Zhang Shan's back with his right foot.

Zhang Shan saw this coming and ducked in time before it reached him, and even before Maras right foot landed back to the ground, Zhang Shan revealed his wings.

"Arrrgghhh" Zhang Shan gritted his teeth as he felt the pain of summoning it

This action surprised Maras and did not expect it to block his view of him. Zhang Shan then closed his left hand which had just released Scarlette's elbow as if he was grabbing something in the air. and then made a stabbing motion to his right wing.

The dagger that Scarlette released suddenly changed it's trajectory and returned to stab Zhang Shans right wing causing it to be punctured and then fly through directly to Maras' torso. As this dagger was moving upwards after it returned, Maras tried to jump backwards diagonally to evade it. Zhang Shan expected this and using his right hand grabbed again unto air and then motioned a stabbing motion downwards. Maras' sheathed dagger together with his belt moved downwards, preventing him to complete his jump and thus causing the attack from Scarlette's incoming dagger to hit him in the c.h.e.s.t as it penetrated through his body and exited to his back.

Shana then appeared behind him and tried to stab him at his right kidney. but ended up being stabbed instead, as she looked at Scarlette's dagger in her c.h.e.s.t, she traced where it came from and saw that Zhang Shans Left Kidney was punctured. She then understood that Scarlette's dagger returned and pierced through right at Zhang Shan and into her.

"Shit!" she said and dared not move further as she saw Zhang Shans smile and gaze which now looked really demonic.

After it passed her, the dagger then turned and headed straight to Scarlette who had yet to recover from the damage dealt to her.

*Tssak*

"Ahhhhh" Scarlette m.o.a.n.e.d in pain as she felt it pass through her back and stuck in her stomach.

Darius, Millie and Danielle saw this and believed that Zhang Shan could control the daggers telepathically. The three immediately removed their belts containing daggers and then discarded the ones they are holding.

Darius body glowed bluish as almost a hundred water orbs appeared and became twirling water spikes and willed them to attack Zhang Shan directly, Millie made an uppercut motion with her right hand causing a pillar of earth to grow and appear exactly behind Zhang Shan. Danielle on the other hand cupped her hands together which created a Spherical Ice barrier to instantly form and appear engulfing them from the front to the back.

Zhang Shan acknowledge their great team work to create an Attack, Defense and Support with a smile.

"Not bad... but still far from great..." he said

Zhang Shan immediately retracted his wings and then started to advance by jumping straight at the three, however two hands suddenly sprouted from the Earth Pillar as an Earth Golem appeared trying to grab him in place. Zhang Shan then felt something behind him and instinctively, his demonic tail sprouted and lashed at the Earth Golem from the bottom to its head cutting it in half making it stop it's pursuit. On his way, he agilely evaded the hundred or so water spikes before reaching his left hand towards the barrier of ice.

As soon as it touched the barrier, it dissolved like acid was sprayed into it causing the three to be surprised.

Immediately the three reacted spontaneously, Danielle summoned an ice bow, Millie made an earthen spear and shield and Darius made water Chakram Discs on both of his hands.

Zhang Shan felt glad as he found that these guys can create elemental weaponry. He then unleashed his claws on both hands and continued to advance.

Millie moved forward with a charging motion using her shield, hiding her spear behind it while Darius threw his Chakram discs at Zhang Shan as Danielle fired a barrage of Ice Arrows

Zhang Shan did not evade the Chakram discs and arrows as he continued his assault. When the Chakram discs hit him, instead of creating a cut, it went in as if it was originally part of his body. The same thing happened when the arrows hit him, it went in like drops of water getting back to a pool.

One thing entered the minds of the three. "Magic Immunity"

Before Zhang Shan could get further near them, the two, Danielle and Darius looked at each other and nodded in understanding and retreated in full speed. Before Zhang Shans Claw reached the shield Millie created, Millie dispelled it together with her spear as she knelt down in submission while saying "Forgive me God Pythagoras", after which, her entire left arm was chopped off from its socket by Zhang Shans Claw.

"Aaaaahhhh!!!" Millie shouted in pain

Although it was chopped of, Millie remained in her kneeling position and kowtowed.

Zhang Shan paid it no attention as he passed her by and gave chase to the two.

"Six years and you two are still the last to remain and run away... How dull and repetitive..." Zhang Shan said smiling as he opened his closed wings.

In Darius' and Danielle's mind they thought

"The F*ck are you saying who's repetitive?... Do you want us to stay and just die?"

Danielle then made a gesture with her hands which Darius caught sight of and then he felt slipping. As it turned out Danielle created an ice sheet underneath where he was supposed to step.

"DAAAAMMMMNNN YYYYOOOUUUU DAAAAANNNIIIIIEEELLLLEEEE!!!!"

Darius shouted as he fell forward, his eyes were red and full of tears.

*Ssssppppllllleeeerrrggggssshhhkkk*

As it turned out, Zhang Shan did not miss this opportunity to claw at his waist creating a large gaping wound. Blood and entrails spilled out .

Danielle did not look back amidst his screams and continued to run, but before she could take another step, she saw something in front of her.

Eleven Shiny White Daggers were zooming in straight at her, she even recognized her own daggers.

Danielle's tears started to build up as she looked back and saw Zhang Shan's demonic face right in front of her, their noses almost touching.

"Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!" Blood curdling scream was heard by everyone as Zhang Shan embraced Danielle's Body and all eleven daggers shot through them.

Although the bodies of everyone where damaged, wounded or mutilated, they were all still alive gasping for breath and hanging on for dear life.

A bit later the five "Engineers of Fate" saw Zhang Shan walking back slowly dragging what looked like Danielle's corpse. His blood seeping out and slowly inching it's way into Danielle's Body

This imaged burned horrifically in their mind. The bloody winged demon called Zhang Shan, their friend, the one they call the "God Pythagoras" was definitely an image of a devil that crawled out from hell.

Ye Qing, Ye Qian, Lan Ranyan, Titiana and Carnalia were once again stunned by what happened, the timid and weak Zhang Shan they knew in their minds crumbled into dust as they saw this scene.

As he neared the five "Engineers", his blood moved like snakes and engulfed their bodies as well.

The five closed their eyes accepting their "Fate"

However although the blood did look like bloody snakes and looked horrific or dementedly perverted, they didn't feel any pain or discomfort, instead, they felt their bodies slowly warming up and healing in a generally fast pace.

When they opened their eyes, they found everyone perfectly fine, even Darius' body where his entrails were already hanging out earlier were nowhere to be seen.

They looked in amazement at Zhang Shan as he spoke.

"Well, it's good to see you guys well and healthy!... I hope you liked my greetings!"

When Ye Qing, Ye Qian, Lan Ranyan, Titiana and Carnalia heard it they almost said.

"That's what greetings is for you?... Then we're no longer friends!"

However, they only thought of it and did not dare speak. What kind of tenacity does Zhang Shan has to actually use his own body as diversion? When did he start to move like that? Was he just feigning weakness before when Lan Ranyan fought him?

Suddenly, Zhang Shan said as if reading everyone's minds.

"Me, Titiania and Carnalia as Royal Demons seemed to have different abilities."

"In my case, I can control anything that is bladed though I haven't tried it before with your elemental weapons... I'm hoping to try again later which made me excited... There is something we three have in common though... we're immune to magic to a certain degree, up to which, I still haven't tested out yet." he added

"By the way, let me introduce you guys these are my friends you can just call them "SWITCH". He then pointed to the Six, "That's Scarlette Safra-Summers, Millie Walton, Darius Irving, Danielle Thomson, Maras Cargill, Shana Hearst"

"Guys, these are Ye Qing, Ye Qian, Lan Ranyan, Titiana and Carnalia" he then pointed to them as he talked to the "SWITCH"

Everyone nodded in acknowledgement after being introduced.

Leito asked as he raised his hand "G-god Zhang... Why didn't you use that "Magic Immunity" thing back when Lan Ranyan used her "Time Magic" against you?"

Zhang Shan smiled and said

"It's not that I didn't use it.. It's just that, Lan Ranyan's "Time Magic"... Isn't really Magic..."
