Elemental Dissonance.

Chapter 10 - 10 - Cavern (1).

Pain, it was intense pain that Bilal was suffering while rolling on the ground like a bowling ball, it was his good luck that he didn't find any holes and depressions and fell down even further.

'I thought it was supposed to be a Mild pain, damn this Voice' he cursed whatever that voice was, although he became an orphan at a ripe age of 12 and didn't quite enjoy the comforts of rich, he didn't use to be a construction worker either. The pain slowly started subsiding and he sighed a breath of relief.

[Linking Process Completed, System fully connected to the Neural system of Host.]

[Calibrating to Local senses: 1%...20%....80%...Completed.]

[Research/Records/Modules/Status/Mission/Shop/Network tabs added.]

[Establishing System's Survivor code, connecting to the Mainframe network.]

[Unable to connect to the Mainframe Network, System anomaly cause unknown.]

[Removing Mission/Shop/Network tabs. Due to unavailability of Network.]

He suddenly became startled when several white lines of English text appeared in his view, he rubbed his eyes trying his best to declare all this a dream but to his dismay, no matter how hard he tried not a single word even blurred.

[Harmful Behaviour detected, System advice user to stop rubbing the eyes it may result in permanent eye injury.]

"What did you do with my eyes? Why are these texts?"

[No Eye modifications needed, System interface is directly transmitted through the Brain centres.]

He regretted asking the voice because he couldn't understand the Gibberish this thing was talking about. But he had an even greater problem than bickering with the voice in his head, that is to Escape out of this place and have some rest.

"Hey voice, can you now help me get out of here?"

[System is now working with full ability, it can help Host's in survival very efficiently]

"Ok then" He slowly stood from the ground confidently like a drug dealer who had got its diplomat status.

[Ultrasonic Sonar Imaging activated, scanning proximity 9%....25%.....61%....100%.Complete]

[General geographical characteristic identified: Active Karst cave, Water stream detected 600 meters westwards to the Host. Pursuing West direction advised.]

"So it basically means I should start moving in West direction? What if I fell onto the ground once again?"

[Sonar mapping Live camera added.]

Suddenly a small part of his left eye's vision went black and a second later, low light images of stalactite and stalagmite replaced it. By now, even an idiot would know what that thing was and how to use it. So he started moving to the west without wasting any more time.

As he progressed on the path he saw various pitfalls and cliffs all over the place that led to the inner section of the caves if weren't for the mysterious entity in his head that claims to be a survival tool, he would've been a meat paste if he were to fall in one of those.

After 20 more minutes of continuous walking and moderate climbing, he crossed the 500 meters mark, as he came closer, sounds of water crashing against the stones with astonishing might came to his hearing. The road ahead was very linear there were no ups and downs ahead of the path.

But what he didn't expect happened once again, his temple started flaring up and his vision started changing, darkness transformed into brightness and colourless transformed into a variety of vibrant colours. The wall, the ground, the ceiling everything ahead of him started wrapping up in small glowing light particles of different colours and sizes. Just as he was about to take another step further his head started hurting like it was just hit by a hammer and with another heavy 'thud', his vision restored back to normal.

[DANGER! DANGER!! DANGER!!!, UNKNOWN TYPE OF RADIATION DETECTED]

[Warning: Maintaining 100-meter distance from the Radiation source suggested.]

[DANGER!! DANGER!!! UNKNOWN BRAIN CELL ACTIVITY DETECTED, NO RESPONSE FROM THE HOST.]

[Radiation source Identified: Unknown Waterbody 97 meters ahead. Cancelling designated exit plan, new cave exit yet to be discovered within 2 kilometres.]

"What was that?" He exclaimed while panting heavily, clutching his head as his sight flashed back to the normal view

[Unknown brain activity was blocking contact with Host. Further expedition not recommended due to unknown radiation. Suggestion: Turning back and finding another cave exit.]

"No, I don't think I can walk anymore." he felt tired, his legs started feeling wobbly, he thought it wouldn't be possible to turn back now and find another exit. It would be too late as he was feeling heavy in his head already. "I'm breathing alright now that means cave exit is nearby, I don't know whether I would survive without food and rest, it's either do or die."

[Warning! Warning!! Host heading straight for the Radiation source. Radioactive energy is harmful to Human beings, it may result in Unknown mutations.]

[Warning! Warning!!...]

[Warning!...] +1,+2,+3….

His head started ringing like the telephone room of a call centre, notifications after notifications were issued by the so-called Ultimate survival tool which cannot even find a cave exit.

He paid no heed to the ringing sounds in his head and continued ahead because he thought the tool wasn't practical at all if he were to turn back now there would be an even greater chance for him to die.

As he was moving towards the water source, his sight flashed once more and the system alerts stopped bothering him. The walls, the ground, the ceiling, slowly everything started creeping into a coat of blue particles. It was a magnificent yet terrifying sight but he marched ahead like a veteran soldier and didn't pay attention to his surroundings.

Suddenly, his head started pounding once more, but he knew it was the tool that was messing up with his brain to refrain him from going ahead. Nonetheless, he arrived at the edge of the ground and ahead of him stood a vast, mighty, river hundreds of metres wide.

[Unknown brain activity issue resolved, Host influenced by Unknown radiation.]
