End of The World? Time to Level Up!

It took a day for everyone to recover from the surprise boss fight, making the track back to the base very long. A majority of people had died, dwindling the already low amount of people.

Sebastian: You guys ok? He said looking at May, Junak and Sapphire

Sapphire: Yeah me and Junak took care of the ghouls that came due to noise, thank goodness there weren't any mutation types.

Sebastian nodded and handed them a few health potions just to heal the small scratches they had received.

Tim: OK everyone let's head home!

Everyone agreed and stood up starting the trek back the base quickly.

After 10 minutes they arrived but they were utterly shocked. The base walls were destroyed and fires were everywhere!

Tim: WHAT THE HELL? SPREAD OUT AND LOOK FOR SURVIVORS!

Everyone was too shocked to answer so they didn't hear Tim causing him to shout once again, finally snapping them out their stupor.

Sebastian's group went to the tent area and they saw a bunch of people crying while holding people that sadly didn't make it.

That's when an explosion caught their attention. What caused the explosion was a Barbed Wire jumping from a nearby building, this one didn't seem to be so small like the ones they faced earlier, this one was as big as a regular man and had long arms with bigger claws.

They were about to engage it when a man appeared and shouted while slashing down with his axe.

Random Dude: DAMN YOU YOU BASTARD! THIS IS FOR MY WIFE!

The creature moved its head to the direction of the shouting man and brought its arm slowly up but then its arm twitched backwards and the upper part of the guys body was completely destroyed; only his waist and legs remaining as they fell over.

The creature picked up the lower half and tried to eat it but saw that its mouth was too small so without a thought it dislocated its jaw like a snake and swallowed the body clean in one gulp.

Sebastian: Everyone go continue Tim's mission and look for survivors, I'll keep this thing busy.

May: No! Didn't you just see what that thing did!

Sebastian: Junak, Sapphire, take May and go now. Send a glowing arrow after half an hour, I'll come to that location then.

Sapphire and Junak were quiet for a while before they weakly nodded, grabbed May by the arms and started to run away.

Sapphire: COME BACK ALIVE SEBASTIAN OK!

Junak: YOU BETTER NOT DIE YOU DAMN OREO!

Sebastian chuckled and threw a thumbs up back at them.

Sebastian: Now then, let's see what I just sighed up for. He said as he activated observe on the creature.

System: Barbed Wire Alpha[LVL 23]

Sebastian: Oh great its the same level as me he sighed

Sebastian didn't say anything as he lunged forwards and brought his sword down.

Sebastian: One sword style: Soratobu-gyo!

The sword started to cut the creature's neck when it suddenly shot its arms forwards, it completely destroyed Sebastian's Body making it explode into a puff of smoke and from behind the real Sebastian slashed its back making it screech in pain and swing its arm backwards hitting the real Sebastian in the chest making him fly backwards. Sebastian: Damn 90 attack damage... This thing is no joke. He said as he looked up he saw that the creature was right in front of him raising both its arms and brought them down.

He quickly blocked with his sword but due to the force it still brought up a dust storm blocking their vision. The beast quickly jumped backwards out of the dust cloud and rolled out the way when Sebastian appeared where it was just standing, his sword glowing a maroon hue.

Sebastian: I'm gonna run out of MP if this carries on. He said as he lunged forwards and swung in a wide arc making the beast jump up but that's what the teen wanted as he quickly gripped the sword hard, changed direction mid swung and cut the beast's one leg off.

It screeched in pain as it punched the teen in the face blasting him backwards.

Sebastian quickly recovered and brought out the almost broken odachi and held it in his left hand.

Sebastian: I'm going to finish this now! He roared and sprinted forwards, the beast couldn't move that well due its leg being chopped off.

Sebastian:Two sword style: Kujira![whale slayer]

He gripped both weapons and pulled them backwards, his upper biceps suddenly got very big and veins were throbbing on them. The beast quickly threw its arms forwards and stabbed him right in the stomach when suddenly it turned into smoke and from behind Sebastian swung both swords cutting the beast clean in two and making a crater due to the power of the strike.

The teen panted and saw that the odachi finally reached its durability as it dissolved into pixels.

Sebastian grunted as he saw that the creature managed to stab him a few times. He looked up and suddenly a glowing arrow was sent in the sky making him smile as he slowly jogged over to that direction, adrenaline making him ignore the pain.

At Tim he was in his head tent and saw that it was completely destroyed, he felt something behind him and he quickly looked behind him.

Tim: Who are you? State your business!

???: Who me? Oh I'm just a guy looking for some fun.

The person sent Tim a grin and his eyes glowed purple.
