End of The World? Time to Level Up!

Sebastian finally took notice of the woman in front of him.

She was of average height but Sebastian was a head taller than her.She had a tan skin color and her hair color was white with orange highlights, it was made in a messy bun while her fringe rested over one eye.

Her eye color was a glowing yellow and she appeared to be 19 years old. She was currently wearing a hunter corp black pants and black military boots with iron studs on it and had a grey sports bra on that highlighted her average bust size.

Without a shirt on you could clearly see her well trained body as she had a six pack and her muscles were developed.

Hanabira: Sis? What you doing out the office?

???: Huh Hana you already back from Zelta city?

Sebastian: I mean she is right in front of you so that should answer your question he said looking her right in the eyes.

???: You think you funny or something punk? She grabbed his shirt and pulled him right in her face their noses almost touching.

Hanabira: Uhm sis can you please let him go?

Both Sebastian and the girl stared into each other's eyes and then clicked their tongues as she let Sebastian stand up straight.

Emily: So, this is your sister Hanabira?

She said seeing the clear difference between the gentle Hanbira and wild sibling.

Hanabira: Yes, this is Toge Kenkō my little sister.

Toge just huffed and looked at Sebastian

Toge: Well I'm waiting for an apology she said resting her hands on her hips and glaring at Sebastian.

Sebastian: Yeah right why don't you apologize you were the one that ran into me big shoulder gorilla woman. He said glaring right back at her.

Toge: The hell you say?

A vein appeared on her head and she released a large amount of Killing intent making ever one shiver around her.

Sebastian: You heard my gorilla he said releasing his own killing intent.

Just as they were about to brawl it out Hanabira came in between them and smacked each of them on the head.

Hanabira: Enough of that you two! She huffed and crossed her arms.

Hanabira: Toge you need to head to the office we are going to talk to head captain all right?

Toge just clicked her tongue and look back Sebastian and growled as she carried on running.

Sebastian: Damn gorilla woman he said underneath his breath and turned around to walk back to the group.

May: Why didn't you apologize to her?

Sebastian: Why the hell should I she was the one at fault.

May: You may be the oldest between us but sometimes you really act as a kid she said and everyone nodded in agreement making him slouch and release a sad sigh.

Shimo: If the little comedy act is over, we arrived at the Head captain

Sebastian looked and saw that it was a building that resemble an old Japanese building and in the only room sat an old man what appeared to be in his late 70 drinking some tea.

The old man had long messy white hair that reached his shoulders and his eyes were closed while he had a long flowing beard. He was wearing a black male kimono. A man that also wore the hunter uniform appeared to be in his fifties were placing papers in front of the old man.

He had short grey hair and had a thin mustache and beard, he had white rimmed square glasses and had brown eyes.

Shimo: Head Captain Minomoto and Vice-Captain Kuro we have returned said Shimo and Hanabira as then went on one knee in front of the old man that looked up at them.

Minomoto: Did you come in contact with the Eco base leader? He said putting his cup down.

Hanabira: Sadly, he didn't make it the same with the base.

Minomoto: I see he said while stroking his beard softly.

Hanabira: But this group behind us were survivors from the Eco base and have very good Hunter corp potential I have witnessed firsthand.

Minomoto: So, you wish to join the hunter corp's do you?

Everyone: Yes

Minomoto slowly opened one eye and looked at everyone one by one and then stopped at Sebastian for a while and then closed his eye again.

Minomoto chuckled and turned to the man standing next to him.

Minomoto: Kuro when is the next squad selection taking place?

Kuro: It is tomorrow Head Captain he said looking at a piece of paper.

Minomoto: You heard the man you will be staying at the military barracks for now and if you get into a squad you will be guided to the squad barracks.

Kuro: Any questions?

Rose: Yes, she raised her hand and walked forward a bit.

Kuro: Ask away.

Rose: How do you guys have enough energy to power this city?

Minomoto: We have 2 SHIFT cores that is currently powering everything.

Sapphire: Wow that is rare your super lucky!

Minomoto: I would say that the fact we have energy has made people lax making them not want to enter the corps and with the ever-growing ghoul population no one really wants to go out.

Minomoto: You all are dismissed Hanabira will lead you to the barracks, I suggest you rest yourself for the selection. Shimo stay behind and give me your report.

Shimo: Yes sir

So Hanabira stood up and led everyone except for Shimo out the building to the barracks.

Shimo: Sir the condition of Zelta city was worse than we expected he said sitting in front of the Head captain a cup of tea in front of him.

Minomoto: Was it the bosses or ghouls that frightened you?

Shimo: It was the humans sir.

Shimo: One Human with the name of Theodore Brooks made a new religion that was brought up from corpses.

Kuro: Was he dealt with?

Shimo: Yes, by Sebastian Topaz the young man with the black hair and white stripes.

Minomoto: Yes, I looked at his stats he is quite the strong person, his on Vice-captain level if he goes full out, I suspect.

Shimo: Theodore was changed from an original human. Apparently, Sebastian told us that he was a ghoul Human hybrid then he got an unbreakable armor.

Shimo: That's when I intervened and from the armor came a being that was terrifying even for myself Head Captain.

Kuro: That does sound frightening.

Minomoto: If anything like that comes from the city, we have to deal with it but for now we are dealing with you know what.

Shimo: Yes sir.

At the group

Hanabira led them to a standard military camp and everyone saw soldiers training with their separate skills and weapons against each other. They arrived at an area were green tents were set up.

Hanabira: Alright here's your home for now so I hope its comfy well goodbye I need to also give my report to the captain.

Everyone: Thank you Hanabira.

Hanabira smiled and skipped back the way they came from.

Sebastian: Ok guys take a sleep and prepare yourself for tomorrow copy that!

Everyone: Copy that!

Sebastian entered his tent and saw that it empty except for a sleeping bag.

Sebastian layed down and finally entered his status.

His stats made Sebastian choke on the water that he was drinking making him cough and hit his chest. When he recovered, he put the water down and sat up.

Sebastian: What the hell 20 levels??Well I did fight Theodore 3 times each time he was stronger and the nightmare boss he said entering the shop secretly.

Sebastian: Time to go on a shopping spree he grinned and rubbed his hands together.

An entire hour later Sebastian Sighed and went back to his status page.

He had bought 3 new skills which would benefit him in the future. The hand to hand combat skill is for any human enemies he has to face in the future in case his sword is broken. Lighting hawk was for scouting purposes as he could look through the hawk's eyes while it was in the air and it could remotely blow up. Then the last skill is a sword skill which is stronger than Mondschnitt streik but not as strong as Kosumosu kuchiku-kan.

The rest of his money he used to buy a lot of throwing knives again and a new katana because he wanted to use two sword style more. The katana name was Dragon Fang, it consisted of a pure black color and the edge was in a purple wave pattern and the scabbard was black with purple lines as well. The katana was the most expensive item from the three which drained all his funds. The reason he bought it was simply its enormous durability of 0/1000!The sword would not break for a long time.

Sebastian grinned and then when to bed excited for tomorrow.
