Thinking about my future plans I walked next to Mr. God and said, "My third wish is to have immortal soul."

"Immortal soul?" He looked at me confused.

"Make so that even when my body is destroyed or digested and eaten, I could still think and posses someone." I answered him.

He looked at me and answered, "I can make it happen if you like to, but your soul will be unable to posses any a.d.u.l.t or creature with complex mind. You could only posses child who is still forming consciousness!"

Nothing more was needed for me.

HunterxHunter world has many fascinating creatures and one example of these creatures are Chimera Ants also known as "Gourmet Ants". As the name implies this species of ants can consume several times of their own weight. Important part is that Chimera Ant queens posses unique method of reproduction known as Phagogenisis(reproduction through devouring). By eating other creatures, a Chimera Ant queen can impart the characteristics of ingested creatures onto the next generation of Chimera Ants it gives birth to. She can produce up to five Ants with one meal. To take advantage of the genes of a particular species, Chimera Ants have been known to feed until the fodder species is driven to extinction in its ecosystem. Humans are known to be extremely nutritious fodder for Chimera Ant queens. Each generation of Chimera Ants is profoundly different from the one that preceded it, and even individual Ants from the same generation exhibit profound genetic differences, which are expressed by their unique appearance: a fodder species/Ant hybrid, the former component depending on the queen's diet. Genes from multiple species can be mixed in the same Ant. Thanks to the unique method of reproduction of the species, Chimera Ant soldiers often inherit advantageous traits of the fodder species the queen fed on. Should the prey in question be humans, the resulting Ants will be more intelligent than ones born from wild animals to different extents, stronger, have the ability to talk, learn and operate machinery such as firearms, and even the potential to use Nen. Some of the more primitive ones are capable of feeling aura without seeing it, possibly due to their superior affinity with nature. Higher-ranked soldier Ants are born with the ability to see aura. Chimera Ants, or at least the ones born with human genes, have the potential to recollect events that occurred to the individuals whose genetic material they ended up inheriting, to the point some of them consider themselves as being the exact same person reborn. These memories are the reason some of them were able to talk right after being born. This is most likely because humans have stronger souls and this allows them to survive the process of Phagogenisis.

I wished for immortal soul just so that I can guarantee to survive process of Phagogenisis. After I get reborn as a Chimera Ant I can finally get body that has the chance to become Ultimate Life Form. My new body mixed with genes of many creatures would not have a limit. This is clearly shown in anime as even normal Chimera Ants soldier could easily kill experienced fighter. And the King of Chimera Ants could overpower one of the greatest Nen users just by relying on physical power not even using Nen to strengthen body.

I looked at Mr. God and said, "Reincarnate me as a human in a world of "Hunter x Hunter". 17 years before the start of the story"

"Why 17 years before start of the story?" He asked.

I mockingly looked at him and said, "I need time to train my body and learn how to use Nen, before storyline starts. As I'm not a genius like the main characters it would take me few years just to learn basics of Nen."

"Do you prefer to be born in any family or place?" He asked me.

"I would like to be born in Meteor city." I answered him.

Meteor City is a junkyard city inhabited by outcasts. People who live there do not exist in any official records and the existence of the city itself is known to very few people. It's an extremely dangerous dog eat dog place. But it's also place of birth of many strong fighters such as Phantom Troupe, and Zoldyck family Butler Gotoh and servant Canary. It's an ideal place to train.

"Is there anything more or can I start your reincarnation?" Mr. God asked me.

I thought for a minute and answered, "You can start."

After I said those words I felt dizzy and slowly closed my eyes.

Amidst many garbages and rotting humans, in a small shabby looking house made of wood. There was a woman holding a a sleeping 2 year old boy. Little boy slowly opened his eyes and looked around the house. His eyes showed some kind of intelligence that 2 year old could never exhibit.

I opened my eyes and first thing that faced me was unfamiliar woman fast asleep. Both of us were inside a small empty house. There were few furnishings in a house but all of them were old and broken. It just looked like a garbage. I looked at the mirror and saw a toddler that looked like a 1-2 year old. Children start forming memories around age of 2 but slowly forget them. At only age of 7 children could for permanent memories. That is the reason why only now I can remember my past memories. I again looked around the house and inside of me excitement was flaring up.
