Endless Adventure

I opened my eyes. My surroundings was covered by dark green material. Place was too small and it made me feel uneasy. My instincts told me to get out of here. I had to leave this place. My mind was in chaos. I kept hearing that I have to leave this place.

I tried to move my body and to leave this place. Then I heard a voice saying, "WAIT....It's too early!" I could care less about that voice. I pierced the green cocoon with my hand and made an opening. After that I made the hole larger and slowly exited that place. I looked around and I saw many different chimera ants surrounding me. Slowly I regained my memories.

When I was sorting out my memories. Peggy a penguin chimera ant ran towards the Queen. Using my tail I beheaded him. I fully remembered my past lives. At the same time I remembered my plan. I still had two more missions to finish and I still had to follow the canon storyline.

Before I reincarnated I thought throughly about what to do after my rebirth. I wanted to keep Queen alive so she can create an army for me and birth many kings that would be my food. Just think how wonderful it would be if I could steal power of the other future chimera ant king's. Just my own ability "Aura Synthesis" is strongest known ability in HunterxHunter world. Meruem's initial ability gives him strength through consumption. His aura grows every time he devours a user of Nen, with their aura synthesizing to his own. The same as in canon storyline I also inherited this ability.

But I rejected this possibility as fast as it came to my mind. This damn mission is far trickier than I thought. If I left her alive I would fail my mission. And I don't even know what happens if I fail a mission. I just couldn't risk. That's when I came up with a great plan.

I moved my tail right in front of Colt and commanded, "Clean my tail!"

Colt was stupefied after he saw that Queen was in verge of death. Turtle intervened, laughing softly and offered to clean my tail with a handkerchief. I killed him with a single swipe of my tail. Again I looked at Colt and commanded, "Clean my tail!" He obeyed and started to clean my tail.

While Colt was cleaning my tail I took a bite of Peggy. I felt nothing. Even thought I ate a creature from the same race I felt no disgust. Even thought I have same memories and character traits, I was still influenced by the body that I stole.

After Colt cleaned my tail. Royal Guards arrived they all bowed down.

Pitou said, "We already prepared a meal for you."

Shaiapouf continued by saying, "We would be your hands and feet!"

Pitou said, "We would do anything you want."

Shaiapouf said, "Please order us around."

They led the way and I followed them. After few moments Colt ran up to us and asked Pitou to heal the queen. Pitou just couldn't care less about the queen as she was already useless. After that I made a hole in the castle and looked at outside. Then I went to the special place Royal Guards created for me to eat my meal. With corner of my eye I could see Colt flying away. I smiled internally.

If I followed the canon storyline. I would most likely be killed. Before the battle Netero implants a bomb next to his heart. It explodes when his heart stops. I'm far stronger than the Meruem in the anime. Maybe even tens of times stronger. But I can't afford to take a risk. Even if this bomb doesn't kill me and poison doesn't effect me, people have thousands of such bombs. Do you think I could still survive if they explode thousands of "Poor Man's Rose" bombs simultaneously?

That's why I have to kill Netero before he implants a bomb. But Netero right now is not in NGL but in Hunter Association headquarters that is located in an unnamed continent, Swardani City. Later he would leave to Kukuroo Mountain to see his old friend. It is far from here and before I go there I would already mess up the storyline.

That's why I had to find a way to instantly go there. If there was a person with teleport abilities and I could get it by consuming that person. I would've teleported to the Hunter Association headquarters and went to Kukuroo Mountain to also see Netero and his old friend. I would then have a nice chat with him. I could even borrow his Nen ability.

I looked around and then asked Pitou, "Bring me big size mirror. Pitou brought it as fast as she could.

I looked at myself in the mirror.

Meruem had a rather humanoid build for an Ant. He was muscular and toned, despite his relatively small frame as compared to his servants. He had two long antennae on his ears and a large shell-like armor over his head that resembled a helmet. There were dark pigmented areas on his arms, legs, c.h.e.s.t, and head. Meruem was always barefoot. He possessed a powerful tail equipped with a stinger that served as his weapon. Both his hands and feet had only four digits each.

My look now differed. First of all I was far taller than the original Meruem. I was just a bit shorter than Shaiapouf, but I was still muscular and toned. Now I had five fingers and was more humanoid than original Meruem. I had a long and fluffy white scarf around my neck, most likely something I inherited from Yeti. I also had longer hair as I could see white hair peeking out of my helmet. And finally my tail got somewhat thinner and longer. The stinger at the end of my tail also got longer.

If I remember correctly Colt would bring "Help" after four hours. So let me wait for prey to come and enter my mouth. I'm quite hungry right now.
