Endless Adventure

When I entered the room, I was welcomed by 5 strangers. Wait actually 4 strangers. There was a familiar face that just asks for a beating. He was that sunny boy I met in my brothers room. One thing that watching anime has taught me was to never trust always smiling guy.

I just gave him a glance and quickly looked away. So doesn't suspect anything. Then I looked at other 4 people. Most notable person of them all was the big guy in the middle. He looked to be around 30 years of age and on this c.h.e.s.t there were three stars representing he was a tree star assassin. His bulging muscles looked comedic with his small head. Other three looked like teenagers and most likely rookies like me. Sunny guy also had just one star but strange feeling was emanating from him. He too may be a three star assassin or it may be my imagination.

I took a seat next to the door and looked at the big guy. After I sat down big guy started to tell about the mission. Our mission was just to take care of a little gang in a City next Meteor City. It was just a small gang that had less than 50 people. One of its members had r.a.p.ed and killed the daughter of our employer. When he went there to ask for the guy that killed his daughter his legs were broken. He spend all his fortune to hire assassin from the Organization. Our plan was simple. Three people would enter from the backdoor of their headquarters. Other three would act like snipers and kill all those who try to escape.

Big guy who's name was Cason looked at me and the sunny boy who's name was Miles and said, "You two would enter the base with me."

I hurriedly disagreed with him by saying, "I'm just a 9 year old kid, how could I be in frontlines?"

Cason annoyingly looked at me and said, "I saw your training results, you are quite good at close combat."

That was of course a lie as I always showed average abilities in all of the classes and never stood out. But here he was saying that I was good at close combat. It made me feel bad as I was grouped with most dangerous guys in my group.

I wanted to disagree with him but after I looked at his clearly angry face words couldn't exit my mouth.

Meeting ended quickly and we went to the armory to get ammunition and firearms. There I took two tactical knives made from cold steel and one handgun. After leaving the armory we boarded the truck and went to the city that gang was situated.

After forty minutes we exited the truck. I looked around and my eyes landed on the three story building. Which was our destination. It was a headquarters of Blue Rose gang. Cason signaled other three guys to stay as I and Miles followed him. We easily located the backdoor which was guarded by two guys. They both were sleepy and bored. Cason took out a pebble and shot it at the metal dumpster that was opposite to our position. Two guards took out their rifles and looked to see what happened. After they turned their back. Cason and Miles attacked from the back and cut their throats. This further proved that Miles was not easy to deal with. After dumping the corpses to the dumpster. We entered the building. Before coming we already studied the structure of the building so we quickly went to the boss's room. In our way there were three bodyguards. I took out my tactical knife and cut the throat of the guy closest to me. He was not the first person I have killed as I already killed people when living in Meteor City. After killing that bodyguard I took out my gun equipped with a silencer and shot the other two bodyguards. Our plan went smoothly as we got rid of the gang leaders one by one. At last we arrived before the last room where the gangs leader was. Cason told me to go open a door. I followed his orders when I was nearing the door I looked at my status bar and I was shocked by what I saw.

It stated I was "At gunpoint".

Without looking back I went in front of the door. Before the door I took out my gun and shot at Cason and Miles after which I took a cover inside the room. Room was nicely decorated with many expensive furniture. There in a table our target was having a nice time with his girlfriend. I took out my tactical knife and waited in ambush before the door.

After few seconds door was full of holes from the bullets shot by the Cason and Miles. After they used up all the bullets Cason and Miles entered the room. I quickly pounced at Cason as he was the bigger and easier target I cut his throat and made a distance between Miles and me. Miles looked at me and smiling he said, "Why did you attack us?"

I mockingly looked at him and said, "If I didn't I would already be dead. Why do you want to kill me?"

He stoped smiling and said, "You don't need to know the reason." After saying those words he too took about his knife. And pounced at me.
