Sol looked at the four beasts in front of him. As he advanced a felling of disdain began to grow inside of him. His Synchro rate might be low, but beast such as dragon is extremely prideful the same can be said of Heracles, who, while not as bad as other mythical figures were still had a very high pride. He was generally able to reign it in since he truly had nothing to be prideful about but when facing such an inferior beast it was extremely difficult.

Constellation had a different grade. The same can be said for the beast. There are graded as inferior, ferocious and mythical. Each grade was basically a difference in life level. A standard member of the noble could beat 10 standards commoner constellations of the same rank. In the same way, a ferocious beast could fight ten inferior beasts of the same rank.

The beast in front of him was called saber tooth. A devolved form of the ferocious demon tiger who is also a devolved form of the mythical white tiger.

As he advanced in front and stopped in front of them, the four beasts growled as they got up. They began to circle around him, effectively blocking all escape.

Sol couldn't help but let a scoring sneer. He stopped tried to control his pride. The more he let his constellations affect him, the easier his Synchro rate will increase and he will be able to have access to more powerful abilities.

" Pitiful beast, let me use you as a stress relief " as he said that, he let his aura out. The air began to feel extremely heavy. His bones began to crackle. He also knew very well that right now his eyes should be glowing.

His physique began to slowly change. His muscles began to bulge a little and he began to grow until reaching a height of 190 cm from his previous 178 cm. If before he looked a little androgynous, now there was no way anyone could mistake him for a woman.

The beasts began to feel danger, still there no way that they would stop. One of the beasts who were behind Sol pounced on him. It was rather fast. An average constellationist would have had a hard time to track them. Sadly for them, to him this speed was nothing. A sneer of ridicule appeared on his face as he thought 'so weak'.

He took a step forward, pivoted to the right, clenched his fist and brought it down like a hammer on the back of the beats with a simple punch.

*Booom*

The air vibrated. This punch completely halted the beast and then made him crash. The spine of that beast was totally broken and it could only lay on the floor. Sol looked at his fist and sighed a little. He was truly too weak right now, even his pride collapsed a little when thinking about it. Normally his punch should have completely killed this beast rather than simply breaking his bones.

He let his gaze wander a little as he observed the three remaining beasts around him. All the dissatisfaction inside his heart began to boil. He was really frustrated. His frustration comes from the fact his mind remembered things that his body couldn't do anymore. One should face reality.

He was too far from the old him. Trying to gain back a lost glory was nothing more than a pipe dream. He then remembered what sir Edward. "People who deride dream are people who have given up." A laugh escaped out of his lip. It was a scornful laugh targeted at how pitiful he acted. "Fine, let go a little crazy, even though you guy is weak, you'll be perfect in order for me to become used once again to fight, " he lifted his head and looked at the moon "as for my dream...".

The three beasts began to growl once again. They might not be as smart as humans but they could still felt that they were being totally ignored. This feeling ignited their rage and made them momentarily forget their fear. They roared in unison as if to give themselves even more courage and put themselves in the position of charging towards him. Sadly, in the face of absolute differences in Power, screaming and roaring will never be enough.

"Shut up" Sol spoke in a low voice. When compared to their roars, those words could be said to be even less sonorous than the buzzing of a mosquito. Still, it was this mosquito like a voice that immediately made the roar lower in volume. One of the beasts began to inch backward, ready to flee, their earlier bravado nowhere to be seen.

Sadly all Sol needed to reach it was a [FLASH STEP]. This step was immediately followed by a punch even more powerful than the previous one. The result this time was obvious. The skull of the beast completely shattered, sending bits of its brain matter everywhere, while a sizable amount of it some landed on Sol.

After killing this beast. A second step allowed him to reach another one. This time, rather than directly punching it, he used his foot to kick it and launch it upward. Once the beast was airborne, he took a deep breath and stood in a horse stance pose. The moment gravity did its work, the beast began to fall, and once it reached an appropriate height, Sol suddenly took a pivot with his left leg and used his right one to send a flurry of kicks to it. After he stopped kicking, all that was left was a mangled flesh that vaguely had the appearance of a beast.

Of the two remaining beasts, one was already gravely wounded and the second one was so frightened it was pathetic. Sol didn't feel pity for them. He wasn't playing around with them nor torturing them. He hated such practices. Apart from the first one to be hit, the two others meet a swift death, and that was all the mercy they would get from him.

Sol believed in one truth. The body is everything a Warrior needs. Be it then or now this would always be his motto. Even when he stopped training his aether, he never stopped doing some exercises regularly in order to maintain his body, still all that was only light training. Now that he chooses to come back, no weakness must be allowed. He could think about the dream and whatnot later. If he didn't even have the most basic amount of power, he will be nothing and the dream he may find will always stay nothing more than a dream. As such it was imperative to bring his physical body to a new height. The stronger he was in a normal state, the stronger he would be once he used [ENCHANCED PHYSIQUE]. What more with a little chance, during this test, he could find a concept that suited him in order to reach the legend rank.

Still, now wasn't the time for it. He felt the fluctuations of aether in the air and was sure that the fight between Alex and Feng was over. He could feel them coming towards him. It was time to end the life of the two in front of him.

--------

On the clearing, the silence was deafening. Sol undid his form before they reached him so they didn't feel his oppressive might. Still, that didn't stop them from getting the creep. Well, it was understandable. Seeing a smiling young man with red eyes and covered by blood under the moon in a forest was enough to give nightmare to many people.

Thankfully, even though it was really creepy and scary, they managed to gain back their composure. During all this time, Sol only smiled while observing them. More precisely he was observing the two new guys with his senses.

What he felt was predominantly fear and respect from the hero ranked guy. The fear nearly overshadowed the respect but it was still here what more buried in those two feelings was gratefulness and a little l.u.s.t. 'Hum... Seem like Alex left a strong impression on him'

The second one was consumed by fear. The fear comes from many reasons it seemed. There also some l.u.s.t, but even more so than the previous one. The l.u.s.t felt by the previous one was something light. It was clear that it was the kind any man would feel after seeing a beautiful woman. But for this one, the l.u.s.t he felt was more pronounced. The worst was that under this was envy and resentment?

Sol was a little stunned at the deluge of information that comes to him when he used his senses to inspect those two. In order to be sure he verified his ring system.

[SYNCHRO RATE INCREASED BY 10%]

[ALL INNATES ABILITIES WERE SLIGHTLY STRENGTHENED].

Those two prompts made him ecstatic. His Synchro rate really went up. This new made him a little happy.

---------

Fabrice was observing this smiling guy in front of him. He was truly a little wary. The difference in power couldn't be more clear to him. When he saw this guy let even larger smile he nearly chooses to activate his talisman by reflex. Still, he managed to control himself.

------

Sol, seeing the reaction around him, coughed a little and decided to bring things up to speed.

"Okay guys, stop gawking. We made too much of commotion so it's time to go back.. And you guys ? " as he said that he began to walk toward the two they saved, it was time to take what they should have taken.

"you can call me Fabrice. Thanks for saving us. I really don't know how to show how grateful I'm" as he walked towards him, the guy bowed a little and showed his gratitude. Sol found it a little funny.

"oh... Don't worry, I know exactly how you can show your gratitude" he finally stopped in front of them and extended his hands. " We aren't some heroes of justice. At least I'm not. Give me your points and we will call it even."

Fabrice was a little taken aback, but he still seemed to have expected something like this. It was the sidekick behind him that acted a little out of bound.

" what the f.u.c.k man. You saved us only for our points ? " he screamed and had a face of surprise as if such a thing was really out of his mind.

"Of course, otherwise why would we want to save fellows competitors?" Even as he said that he saw Alex trying to say something. Thankfully Feng Huan restrained her.

"you..." An expression of anger appeared on the face of the guy. Sol decided to only remember him as competitors A. Sol didn't even want to remember the name of someone so stupid.

"calm yourself A. They are right. They owe us nothing. There no reason for them to help us for free. What more if they really wanted to rob us what could we do? "

This question seemed to stump A a little. He really couldn't retort to it. If Sol and his team wanted to rob them, there is absolutely nothing they could do. At least if they gave their points they could keep a little of their dignity. He gritted his teeth and looked at them with wrath on his faces, he then threw his badge at Sol and began to walk away.

"you bastard. I will remember you" he was leaving such a clichè villain line. Sol's eyes instantly become cold. In the first place, he was all for eliminating future troubles. Since this bastard didn't seem to understand his place it was better to eliminate him and by doing so eliminating this team like he previously planned.

Sol was about to take a step and end this farce when he saw someone go past him in flash. It was Alex, who seemed to be truly angry. She didn't move so fast that he couldn't react to her speed. He just slowed down in order to see how she will act. He was rewarded by his patience because he saw her give to A beautiful uppercut. Fabrice meanwhile, wisely chooses to stand at the side without interfering.

"you. Little ungrateful shit, what kind of bullshit are you spotting ? " said Alex with her arm on her side as he looked down on A. "you should be thankful that we at least allowed you to not be eliminated and that how you act ?" she stepped on his head, making his face kiss the ground by the same occasion. "They're nothing more I hate than ungrateful bitch like you" she added as she continuously stepped on his head.

Competitors A tried to avoid or at least defend himself but he simply was unable to do it. Not only was he wounded and tired from his fight with the nightmares beasts, but even at his most optimum condition he still wouldn't be a match for her. He truly regretted letting his anger get the better of him. Still, there was no medicine for regrets. So his fate was to be stepped on until she calmed herself.

After a while, her frustration seemed to be replaced by a tired expression. She turned toward Sol and with a sad expression took a step to the side in silence, letting A m.o.a.ning in pain.

Sol wasn't the best in understanding humans, but being able to sense their feelings certainly helped. It was clear that while angry, she truly didn't want to steal points from them. If that idiot didn't speak she would have certainly pleased for them. This made him let an exasperated sigh as he began to scratch his head in frustration.

This didn't last though. After evaluating the situation, he remarked that they lost nothing but gained many points and weakened the pack they were planning to target. If he insisted on taking their points, his team wouldn't get all that much, but he would certainly create a crack in their relationship. Since they were supposed to be in a team for many days, he couldn't afford it. On the other hand, by conceding now, she will owe him one and will be more receptive to his order.

All in all, the problem was a choice between short term gain and long term gain. Sol chooses the long term one. Still, before acquiescing, he looked at Feng Huan who had stayed silent since the beginning. A simple nod was all he received after their eyes crossed, but he understood what he meant.

So without adding much he turned his gaze to Fabrice and said. "I will be honest with you. I really want your point, but my teammates over here are too kind for her own good so I will let you go without taking things from you but don't expect such a courtesy next time we meet ". He then turned is eyes to Alex who had a hard time hiding her good mood. He wanted to scold her a little, but such things shouldn't be done in front of an outsider. They already gave enough info on them. No need to show more.

" ah ah ah. Now that we are finished here how about we get out of here? I think you need to take a bath" Feng Huan suddenly spoke with a boisterous laugh and erased the heavy atmosphere that had begun to descend. He was truly good at reading the atmosphere.

"yeah let go. We should find a new resting place" Sol simply acquiesced after taking a look at his body and began to walk in the direction where he couldn't feel too much concentration of power. Alex and Feng Huan simply followed him since they trusted his sensorial abilities after seeing it at work so many times.

Only Alex stopped and gave a wave of her hand to Fabrice with a smile of encouragement to him. "Good luck. You'll need it" and with that, she immediately went next to the other two who had also stopped to wait for her.

After they were completely gone, all that was left was a war zone full of blood and corpses where two guys, one a little dumbfounded at their luck sat while looking at his remaining teammates who was left more or less unconscious after a vicious beat down by a beautiful and s.e.xy girl.
