Sol and the rest of his team + Artemis were running towards the direction were Artemis's teammates were hidden.

After a few minutes of running in silence, Alex couldn't hold back and began to speak

"Hey guys, what do you think is happening exactly?"

She knew that this question wasn't easy to answer with the lack of information. But she wanted something to speak about.

"I saw the enemy using elemental. Elementalists are dim dozen, but the only organizations of Elementalists who would dare to attack this island are either the Knights of Camelot or the Exorcist from Japan. Since they wore armors, they are most likely Knights. "

The one who answered was Artemis. Her answer was clear and without much fluctuations in emotions. It seemed like she didn't like them too much. She even seemed to keep her distance from Sol.

It didn't seem she was the only one who remarked this. Sol and Feng were also looking weirdly at Artemis.

Finally, Sol didn't call out to her. He didn't know why she didn't like him, but he didn't care either. Right now, the situation was more urgent.

He could feel the seal weirdly reacting. He had to reach the legend rank as fast as possible. Something was urging him to do it right here right now despite the risks. Perhaps he was afraid? Yes, that must be it. Still he shouldn't let fear cloud his mind like that.

He opened his mouth to continue the conversation.

"If they are knights, what would be their objectives? Just killing us?"

This question was what that purely stumped him. The island may seem a true miracle. But it was only so for commoners. For Nobles, it was just something above average. As such there should be nothing of note here. At least nothing of value high enough to allow such a massacre.

Of course, Sol didn't know the relationship between Richard and Eleanor, he also didn't know how crazy Richard was, otherwise he wouldn't have been so surprised.

After running for a while, Sol, Artemis and the other two suddenly feel a chill on their backs. They jumped aside without hesitation. It was the right decision to make since, the very moment they stepped aside, a sword made out of wind went through were they previously stood

"Well well well. Would you look at that? It seems that those children have good sense."

this voice came from behind them. Sol turned to take a look at the two newcomers. Their red armors gleamed under the moonlight, the power emanating from them was without a doubt that of legend rank.

Sol took a deep breath, they really weren't lucky today, they didn't seem to be at the highest tier possible for a legend, but they were clearly battle-hardened soldiers. IT wouldn't be easy. While his second mind was thinking about how to get out of here.

"So you guys are really from Camelot? Why attack us? I don't think we are at odd with you guys."

The young man whistled and put a smile on his face

"Would you look at that? How polite. But you know?"

The smile changed into a malevolent grin

"Who said that you had the right to ask a question? Shut up and die like the weakling you are."

The moment he said, for a very slight instant, Sol felt an overwhelming urge to kill. How could a mere mortal dare to insult him? Still, this feeling didn't last? Sol frowned. Since he came to the island, he became extremely mentally unstable. He didn't know why it was happening and frankly, right now he didn't care. He simply answered in order to stall for more time, he put a frightened expression and began to cry,

"Please don't kill us!! We promise to not tell anything. Please, I beg you."

The two knights starred at him blankly before laughing like mad. Finally, the young guys spoke once again,

"You want to beg? Fine, do it while kneeling. That will suit you more."

Sol put a struggling expression, before slowly bowing. Suddenly, he screamed before totally crouched down

"Now!!!"

The very moment he did this, Artemis appeared behind him like a ghost with her rifle raised. She said only one word

"Saravada!!!"

Following that, a bright light blinded everyone

"Run!!!"

Sol didn't stop to see the result of this attack. There now way it could have killed them. But at least it would have wounded our incapacitated one of them.

"Where the f.u.c.k are you going?"

It was when they were ready to run, everything feels like slow motion for Sol, a spear made out of steel suddenly grown from the earth before passing cutting through before piercing through Feng t.h.i.g.h and Alex's hands.

He gritted his teeth in frustrations. it seemed like they couldn't escape without fighting. It wasn't good. He didn't want to fight until he reached legend and reforged the seal. But now, he still wasn't a legend, and his seal slowly breaking down. Finally, seeing his friends bleed, he let a sigh

"Artemis, please do me a favor."

"What do you want?"

"Take them with you and flee"

"WHAT?!!!"

Everyone was stunned, even the two elementalists stopped. Artemis growled,

"ARE YOU TRYING TO PLAY THE HERO?"

Sol simply smiled and said,

"Please, trust me."

Artemis, seeing his smile, sighed in frustration before taking the two and running. They tried to protest, but she simply ignored them and went away.

Sol, now alone with the two, simply smiled and said

"Thank you for letting them go."

"You shouldn't thank us. even if they flee now, I will always find them. I just wanted to see what gave you the right to be so arrogant." answered the old man

Sol began to think without answering him as if he didn't hear him

(Once again I acted differently from how I would have. I can be sure now. Mind interference, manipulation? It pisses me off so much. Anyway, seem like I will have to go all out if I don't want to die. I guess I will have to use "that")

The two elementalists, being ignored like that, snapped. The frivolous man sent a blade of wind toward sol, but Sol simply erected a wall of earth before launching a barrage of fire bullet.

The old man protected the two by also erecting a wall, only that this one was made of metal. After that, he heavily stepped on the earth, causing a row of spears to appear and try to pierce through Sol.

(Too slow!!)

He used his own speed and reaction to neatly dodge all those spears. The first time, he was simply taken by surprise. this exchange continued for a few minutes before they stopped. The results were soon evident.

Sol was sweating and breathing hard, while the two elementalists were simply looking at him like he was some interesting beast in a zoo. One didn't need to be a genius to know that they were still holding back.

"Not bad kid, but if it's all you're able to do, then I guess this will be the end for you"

Sol didn't answer immediately. After calming his erratic breathing, he said calmly,

"I was just trying to feel the gap. I now know that I cannot hope to beat you guy with just my current strength."

"He he, glad that you understood it." said the frivolous man while smirking.

"Five minutes"

Sol answered by showing five of his fingers.

"What?"

"Five minutes is all I need to end you."

"Bastard!!!"

This time it was Sol turn to smirk

"I hope you're ready. come!!! [RUYI JINGU BANG]"

A blinding light flowed from his hand. The two men were filled with dread, only mythical weapons were called with their full names. It seemed like they kicked an iron plate today. They closed heir eyes, waiting for their death.

A few seconds later though, an awkward silence filled this battlefield as they opened their eyes. After all... Nothing happened

(AN: I am back. I hope you liked this. Sol is being trolled hard right now lol. Ok, guys, this week will be an experimental week for me. I will try to reduce the words but increase the release rate. At the end of the week, I will choose the schedule that I like the most. Next week, I should have the definite schedule. Frankly, this current arc is really hard to write. What I write hardly meets the expectations on my mind. I erased this chapter three time before finally having this. Even then I'm not satisfied. I will try to do better in the future)
