Due to impatience, Ryujin had been tapping her foot on the ground for a long time, and her eyes seemed to have brighten up as she heard the door in front of her being opened.

Raising her head, she watched as Aera pushed the door in order to enter into the room, and after all the ordeal she had gone through for this period of time, being in Aera's presence was a breath of fresh air to her.

Moving forward, Ryujin pulled Aera into a tight hug— something that never failed to bring comfort to the girl.

After she had returned from the fortune teller earlier, Jaein had been taunting her the entire time, and Ryujin found herself being at a helpless situation concerning the male.

Moreover, having no clue on what the man was planning, she was utterly frustrated! Being no good when it came to using her brain, she could feel a headache forming.

Standing behind of them, Jaein watched as the scene unfold.

"What's the matter with you?" Aera questioned— concern shown in her voice.

"I don't know who I had offended, but now I am in a great trouble. I don't think I will be able to live on any longer," Ryujin voiced out, exaggerating.

"So dramatic and pathetic," Jaein vocalised, rolling his eyes.

Although his voice reached into her ear clearly, she chose to ignore it.

"What type of trouble did you land yourself into this time?" Aera asked.

"It's tough to explain. Let's just say that there is this annoying thing that is stuck to me, and I can't get rid of. Something like bad luck. Recently everything around me is going wrong. This is close to some kind of curse. I think someone placed a curse on me," Ryujin said.

Pulling away from the hug, Aera stared at her dubiously and spoke out, "You are not making any kind of sense."

As Aera walked towards the living room, Ryujin followed after her and stated, "I know that I am not making any sense, but this is how the things are. It still feels unbelievable to me, and you know, how I don't believe in superstitions."

"I doubt that after all the visits you have made to the fortune teller," Aera vocalised while she sat down on the couch.

As Ryujin moved closer to the couch in order to sit down upon it, she voiced out, "Right! That fortune teller! Do you think she was the one who placed this curse on me? She seems to have known everything— Ah!"

A loud scream left her mouth before she was able to continue it due to how she was suddenly pushed before she could take a seat on the couch.

She tripped because of that, and before she was able to fall down, she gripped on to the back pillow of the couch in order to compose herself.

Letting out a breath of relief, she turned her head back, and seeing how Jaein was smiling at her after such a childish act, she glared at him intensely.
