Eternal Love: A Love Story

Liwei looked at Xinyi, who is pretending to be pitiful and caring for her sister who doesn't even consider her as a sister. He didn't get the results of the investigation yet but he started to believe Ming. Ming may look rude in past but actually she was rather straightforward. She never pretends to be nice to people she doesn't like. That's why compared to Xinyi, she looks like a bad person. And taking advantage of it, Xinyi behaves rather pitiful and filial. Portraying Ming as self centered, and bad tempered.

After a while, Liwei said " She is fine. And about dinner, I'll ask her. Anything else?" he said without looking at her.

She was confused about his behavior. In the past , he never behaved like this with her but now he doesn't even look at her. That bitch must have said something bad about me. Why didn't she died. Then Liwei could have been mine. She gritted her teeth in anger. Controlling her emotions she said, " N...Nothing. Then I'll take my leave". She turned to leave but she was turning in between to see if he wanted to stop her or he has any reaction about what she said about that bitch but, surprisingly he was so calm.

She reluctantly left the office and outside, everybody gathered her to know CEO's mood. She said," I think he is stressed because my sister just woke up from the coma and he has to take care of her. It must be stressing for him to take care of her. But now she woke up, so I guess everything will become fine. I just wish that now she will understand Liwei and her responsibilities and doesn't behave recklessly. "She said looking caring and considerate for her sister. Everyone in the office started to pity the CEO for having such an incompetent wife and she seems like the third wheel between Xinyi and Liwei.

Xinyi always talked like, she and Liwei was in a relationship before but Ming came in between them.

On the other hand, Liwei never cared about these petty rumors, because as being on top position he was used to all these rumors. But what he does not know that these rumors bothered Xie Ming the most.

Her stepsister, whose mother took her father, from her mother and now the daughter of that mistress is planning to do the same. Xinyi always provoked Ming in private and tried to prove to her that Liwei and she is in a relationship and is cheating on her. While in front of Liwei she pretends to be a caring sister who always wishes best for her sister. This only increased misunderstandings between Liwei and Ming. And whenevr she got chance she tries to ruin Ming's reputation in office. That way no one will respect her like a lady boss.

The plan went according to her. Hearing her words, everyone started bitching Ming, how incompetent she is as a lady boss. She doesn't deserve to be Mrs. Jin, instead, Xinyi should have been in that position. She looks better with the boss rather than that clown.

Xinyi thought to herself, " These idiots are so easy to fool." she smirked and excused herself to go to her department.

In the office, Liwei called Gu Shao to ask if they got some lead. Gu Shao said," Sir I checked about Mrs. Ming and I found that she is really pitiful. Her father married the mother of Mrs Ming but he cheating on her through his whole marriage. And after her death, he brought his mistress and Ms. Xinyi home. After getting remarried, he totally changed and started to curse Madam and sometimes he also hit her. He loved Ms. Xinyi so much but always discarded Madam. That's why grandfather Li , took Madam with him and send her abroad to study. And when they know that Madam is getting married to you, they tried to stop this marriage. But as it was the wish of the elders they could't do much."

" Why they wanted to cancel marriage?"

" Because they wanted Ms. Xinyi to get married to you as she has a crush on you" Gu Shao replied with hesitation.

Liwei narrowed his eyes. Danger could be seen from his eyes. Because they were so good at acting that he couldn't figure out their intentions.

" Okay. Do you get anything regarding Ming's suicide incident?" Liwei asked as he looked at Gu Shao.

" Not yet sir. It's taking time to find details regarding that incident." Gu shao replied.

"Okay. You can go now." Liwei said with a blank face. When Gu Shao left, Liwei thouht to himself,

' I was such a d*ck before. How can I not see the hardsh.i.p.s of Ming before. I always blamed her for her rude and dandy behavior towards her sister and family. But he never bothered to find why she was behaving like that. All along he was being played by others. ' Sigh.
