Slowly over the course of a few weeks, Yasha was able to copy and integrate abilities from a variety of other animals into himself. He also managed to copy some abilities from some hunters who had come to the forest to hunt some game. He followed them out of the forest as he felt he already had got enough benefits from the forest and he should debut in human civilization now. Following the hunters to their tents at the edge of forest, he waited patiently as the night fell before making his move.

He used his spirit arts to read their minds and gather information about where and when he was. Though this world didn't have that much spirit energy, he found out that Idea Force worked just as well like it did for copying the Abilities that impacted his mind, personality etc. He gained a lot of knowledge about their immediate present, such as who hired them to hunt and poach, where they had to deliver etc. But digging deeper, he found out another wide variety of information which he was more interested in.

He found out that he was in a forest in the northwestern part of Uttar Pradesh in India and this was currently the year 2005. Yasha knew somethings about the 'Fate' of this world from what Extaria informed him about. As far as he knew, the next big ripple of Fate happens in the year 2008, which was around 3 years from now give or take.

Given that this world was close to Sousei no Onmyouji World in regular world background, if all relations to Kegare and Exorcists were removed, he didn't have much trouble adapting. Some of the worlds he had been to had drastically different communities and world lore which made him different to adapt sometimes.

Coming back to the present, he needed to make himself into a powerful presence in three years. He would only be able to do that with the help of lot of knowledge and power. He used his spirit arts to put the hunters into a hypnotic compulsion. He made it permanent in their sub-conscious mind that he was their benefactor who saved them in the forest, hence they decided to recruit him in their gang and bring him back with them.

Judging from his physical body, Yasha seemed only 14-15 year old. So he figured he would not seem suspicious and would be able to infiltrate their gang easily. After all, most gangs thrived on corruption of youth, they surely would not turn their head away from an eager young applicant.

He made sure to erase their memories of him attacking them, and implanted false memories of him saving them and accompanying them on their insistence. Spending the night meditating after his effort, he recovered his spent energy and even practiced few of his new abilities to get familiar with them. He did that until sun rose up and the two hunters woke up subsequently.

After talking a bit, both of them treated Yasha as a close friend whom they owed their lives to. They informed Yasha that they will be talking him to Delhi where their gang was based. They didn't forget to take their spoils of the hunt with them. They took Yasha to a specific location at the edge of forest where they had hid their vehicle, an old mini truck. They got in with Yasha and drove towards Delhi, while Yasha meditated at the back of the truck.

They took one and a half days to reach a certain location in Old Delhi where there gang headquarters were. Going in with them, Yasha saw a bunch of their members who were hanging around in the hideout. They all became alert upon seeing him and started following the three of them as the two hunters took Yasha to be introduced to their boss.

Their boss turned out to be an obese man with a despicable attitude who was molesting some helpless young women he had tied up in his room. Apparently he had them kidnapped from a local college using some of his lackeys. Upon seeing Yasha he was furious and with a shout to his lackeys he ordered Yasha and the two hunters to be shot at once.

Seeing that his plan wont be successful like this, Yasha waited until all the lackeys had entered the room with guns before sending out a formless spirit wave and hypnotizing all of them at once. He even hypnotized the boss and those girls, putting everyone in a trance. It was easy for him to do this as they were all small time thugs and weak willed people. Only those with strong wills or powers to defend against the supernatural could have a hope of resisting him.

He slowly healed the girls of all injuries they suffered, both physical and emotional. He even suppressed their trauma before erasing their memories of getting kidnapped and molested. He could have directly removed the memories but then he would not have been able remove the trauma as it would become etched in their instincts.

After spending time to make sure they were okay, he finally turned his attention to the thugs and their boss. He unleashed his fury on them and implanted false memories and fear in them. When he was done, all of them became his absolute followers, shivering with terror when his gaze fell on them.

He ordered some of the lackeys to carefully drop the girls to a nearby police station or hospital and come back without being followed. He read minds of the rest of them to get knowledge of the kinds of activities these guys indulged in. He found that their specialization was illegal hunting, robberies, blackmail, kidnapping and threats. They also had connections to gangs that dealt with smuggling, drug dealing and illegal weaponry.

Learning of all this, Yasha started planning his future path. He first instructed the boss to call a meeting of the other gang bosses that he knew with some random plausible reason he can think of and make it urgent. Yasha needed to take control of all the underground activities of the city to make it his domain before he would be able to act as absolute authority.

Secondly he wanted to structure it into an ordered chaos, those who wanted to deal with the dark side would have to come to him but he wont allow the existence of criminal activities that he doesn't approve of. He decided to remove child prostitution, drug dealing and terrorism activities. He would allow prostitution for those of age and willing, but they would do it under his gang's authority and they would follow rules set by him. In return they would be taken care of and would even be provided with proper health-care and monetary benefits.

He decided to become shadow ruler of the city and control the city by influencing and dominating the corrupt rulers of the city. It was not hard to find the dirt on those that sat on the filthy throne of the city. But because the rulers had cleverly allowed growth of gangs and made the gangs be at each other's throats, they had been safe from the wrath of the criminal world until now. But it was what Yasha will be taking advantage of right now. In their arrogance the corrupt rulers had allowed multiple powerful gangs to exist, but Yasha would integrate them all into one and become the one that controls everything from the shadows.

Three Months Later

A classy party had been thrown in one of the posh farm houses on the edges of Delhi-Haryana border. A dance floor had been setup in the enormous garden area and a DJ was playing the latest tracks to the delight of a crowd of youngsters who had come here for the party. To the naive eye this would be just another youth hangout. But to the experienced eye, every youth here was connected to some influential figure of the city in one way or another.

In the hidden bas.e.m.e.nt of this farmhouse, a young boy was dressed in a back leather jacket black t-shirt and a pair of black jeans, looking at a bunch of middle aged people sitting in front of him in an enormous couch. Two well built men stood on the either side of the youth, with an SMG in the hands of each of them. The men in front of him were drenched in cold sweat looking at him. He could have ordered them all to be killed and got scot-free, and they knew it. This was Asura incarnate in front of them and his pure ruthless aura scared them like nothing else. As this was a man who walked in the darkness with light inside him, untainted while in the worst filth.

The youth was Yasha and those in front of him were the top most of the corrupted politicians of the government. He had got control of almost all of the underworld of this city in these past three months, along with most of the politicians, both ruling and opposing. These were the last of them and also the ones with the strongest wills who were able to slightly resist his hypnotizing compulsion. So he turned to other means.

Yasha now had their entire political career in his hands, and they knew for the fact that once they lost their political power, they would have nothing else to protect them from those they got on the wrong side of. He now had money, influence and power to do what he wanted.

They all surrendered to his rule and Yasha made them submit to him using Hypnosis for long period of time. Now he just had to say a word and his will would be done. He used this to organize the criminal world, there was an order within the chaos finally. He also found some of the criminal underworld of this city related to some supernatural, but when they got a whiff of his movements, they ran far away and out of sight.

Finally accomplishing one of his goals, Yasha focused on his next one. He now had to gather abilities, abilities of all tiers and types. That was the reason he gathered political and criminal power. He now wouldn't have to search for capable people, they would be served to him on a platter.

In fact, working in the dark side of the world had allowed him to acquire another bunch of abilities. Some of them so rare that he never thought normal human can train to posses these. Some of the rarest ones were: [Intimidation Aura (Master)-II], [Stealth (Advanced)-VI], [Diplomacy (Master)-I], [Aura Reader (Advanced)-III] and [Micro-Detail Deduction-VI] were some of the rarest he acquired by copying from a bunch of professionals.

Another thing he found out was that he was able to convert similar abilities to a kind of essence to fuel a base ability of the same kind. That was how he got most of his abilities to a high level. Now he was in search with more abilities and knowledge. And he knew exactly where he could gather knowledge.

One week later, Yasha was walking through the main library of University of Delhi. He had enrolled in here as a transfer student with special privileges through recommendation of one of the political figures under his command who pulled a few strings. He was given full access to all kinds of information and research work the University had access to, along with all their labs and equipment of-course.

A year later

Yasha was one of the leading authorities on pretty much every subject the University dabbled in at this point. From Medical to Engineering to Hypothetical and Theoretical Knowledge, he partook of everything. His research papers were of such in depth knowledge and understanding that he was awarded PhD in eleven subjects. Six of which were in the Department of Physics, which came very close to equaling Dr. Bruce Banner's achievements. He was even scouted by U.S. Government to work for them in some project.

However, Yasha himself had a lot of secrets he needed to hide, not the least of which was the underground identity of his. He now nearly controlled all of the underground activity of India. His group nearly rivaled that of the mysterious and ill.u.s.trious Hand. He had been using his knowledge to create some innovative weapons for his group, which made them deadly against all that opposed them in the underworld.

He also created a few Enhancement Serums, that imitated the Super Soldier Serum that created Captain America into who he is, but on a much lesser scale. His serum would give, the ones it is administered to, the power, reflexes and abilities comparable to the best trained athletes and professionally trained mercenaries. When one has an army of such people, taking over the underworld is not that difficult.

However, Yasha was smart, as he didn't use power to create anarchy. He used his power and influence to give people exactly what they wanted, order within chaos. He provided a backdoor to the rules and a break from the stifling authority of the government, as long as they followed the boundaries he set of-course.

He even created a group with absolute loyalty to him that kept track of surveillance and cyber-world. Anything that had a remote chance of affecting him, was monitored by Yasha nearly 24/7. He had even started to work on a personal super computer for his secret base and creation of his own A.I. After all, what was the point of so much knowledge if you don't use it.

Since he felt that his influence in the Material side of the world was good enough as a foundation, he started to collect all kinds of information on the Mystic and Supernatural side. He knew from Extaria that a certain order of Mystics had checked up on him once or twice when he had unleashed a lot of energy to hypnotize a bunch of criminals at once in his process of conquering underworld.

Hence he was on the lookout for another peep from the supernatural community while he prepared whatever information he could on everything supernatural, from comics and fictions to lore and historical records. It was during this that the supernatural finally came knocking at his door one day.
