Extrasensory Perception System

Without me there Cai-Cai wasn't supposed to be able to communicate with Dana, but this didn't stop them.

Somehow Dana was able to talk with her and I never noticed this ability…

But I didn't care about it… the amount of secrets that everyone in Green Shelter has is enormous.

People that fakes being normal to avoid fighting, people like Gabriel that didn't notice their own abilities and some that just hid it to have a hidden ace. Like Stan's second ability.

Dana being able to talk to animals wasn't weird… I'm not even sure if it's really her ability or an extremely accurate and vivid imagination but it seems to work with Cai-Cai.

About the possibility of me preventing Dana from going into the sewers in a not threatening way… She was too stubborn to hear me.

I wasn't sure what to do… I was forbidden from manipulating her… but if something happens to her, Isabella will kill me or even worst she will cut off my tuna supplies.

I had no other option than follow the girl-snake duo to the sewers…

There was no use in following them in secret, Pinky's network was too annoying to avoid so they will know that I'm coming sooner or later. They both found a way to get into the sewers and I went down just after them.

This place smells worse than before… as soon as we went down a few rats appeared and squealed.

Cai-Cai was respected here so she loved to come here from time to time and the rats were also happy to see her.

As we advance in the darkness, we got into a huge chamber escorted by the small rats.

A big fat rat looked at us and made us follow him into the throne chamber (that was how the rats called it in their? Mind this hive mind is so confusing…), it was a "building" next to the Goddess temple and it was a little smaller.

It was just a huge room with columns (made of garbage) holding the roof. A bunch of rats stood in line at each side of a faded colored scrap of carpet (also garbage) that connected the door to the end of the room.

Squeals sounded from the rats on the side… I could almost see them holding small trumpets in the future.

The fat rat moved to the side and announced our presence…

*Squeek Squeek… Squeak!!*

This means, "Coming from Green Shelter!!! Her Highness! Savior of the rat's world… The Great Goddess of Hope… Cai-Cai!!! Accompanied by her Sacred Envoy, Dana the High Priestess!!"

Dana's eyes were glowing with the sight, the fat rat looked at me with disdain and added.

*…Squeak…*

"… the old demon Emperor came too…"

Well… even if we are in good terms, I'm still a cat. I showed him my teeth which had the expected effect and made him tremble.

Also, I just noticed but I thought I was a demon lord… or was it King? And why the announcement? since they share their minds, they all know that we are here… this guy keeps doing useless stuff.

At the end of the carpet scrap, was a silver throne made of a weird mix of snakeskin and food cans (More garbage) and sitting in the middle of it, a fat white rat (basically everything in the room was garbage).

The white rat on the throne was dressed in a cyan cape (similar to Cai-Cai's Scales) with golden details on it. He looked at us and stood up in a dramatic way faking surprise while raising his short arms to the sides.

'My goddess, what a pleasant surprise.'

He said making a bow.

I looked at him for a second and before Cai-Cai could talk I asked him.

"Did you gain weight?"

"Impudence!!"

Some rats got ready to attack when they heard me… before they could try to do something Cai-Cai's hiss sounded.

"He looks fine."

"OUR GODDESS HAS TALKED….WE ALL RATS NEED TO GET CHUBIER!!!"

*SQUEAK!!*

All the rats raised their little hands making a fist… and for some reason Dana also did…

Oh crap, I hope she doesn't start imitating the way they talk.
