Chapter 19 - Seven Deadly Sins

"What happened next?"

Ji Chen's curiosity had peaked. He really wanted to know what happened next.

"The picture turned out to be the inheritance of the Evil God, it made me l.u.s.t for blood, that time, I made a deal with him: For power, I would give it my soul and body."

Mu Lu had a dark face when he spoke about 'soul and body'.

"So you did that! HAHAHA! I would never do such a thing if I was in your position!"

Ji Chen laughed.

"You wouldn't, but I have things I need to protect."

Mu Lu showed his determination.

"Do you need help? I mean, I could help with whatever you need. After all, you're my sla... I meant my friend!"

Ji Chen was about to say slave, but he corrected himself at the last moment. He was waving his hands like crazy as if to distract Mu Lu from his words.

"No!"

Mu Lu still had determined eyes, it seemed that he didn't completely hear Ji Chen's sentence.

"People?"

Mu Lu asked.

"No, I mean those guys... Greed, Wrath and L.u.s.t?"

Ji Chen wasn't the best at asking questions. He still had a hard time communicating.

"They were monsters."

Mu Lu stuttered as he replied.

"Monsters?"

Ji Chen repeated.

"They were the Seven Deadly Sins..."

Mu Lu answered.

"The children of The Evil God?"

Ji Chen felt a bit dizzy as he heard Mu Lu's words.

"Weren't they already dealt with many hundreds of thousands of years ago?"

Ji Chen asked.

"No!"

Mu Lu shook his head.

"They were alive all along. They were set by The Evil God to protect his inheritance."

"That would mean they've already reached Sky God?"

Ji Chen questioned.

"Yes, in fact, they may even be something beyond! The latest I have met one of the members was around a few hundred years ago. I was still Early Sky God back then, I could still feel oppression when I looked into their eyes. They are something beyond Early Sky God."

Mu Lu's face became more and more frightened as he talked about the sins.

"Don't worry, If they try to fight with you, I'll surely beat them up!"

Ji Chen pounded his c.h.e.s.t as he said that.

"They're stronger than you think."

Mu Lu squeezed out a line from his already pale face.

"How strong can they be? I am already a Divine!"

Ji Chen proudly declared.

"I have heard that the ones in this Universe are only clones..."

Mu Lu waved his hand and brushed off Ji Chen's declaration.

"Clones? They've ascended into the Multiverse?"

Ji Chen shocked face showed it all.

"Yes. I have heard that even the Evil God only has some restraint over his children, they are already nearing his status and power in the Multiverse!"

Mu Lu made it seem like a big thing.

"Evil God? Didn't he disappear?"

Ji Chen had a confused face.

"He did, but that was only because he felt restricted, he escaped to the Multiverse."

Mu Lu answered.

"How did you get this information?"

Ji Chen was intrigued.

"You can buy this information from The Evil God System. I spend thousands of years to get the points to get these questions answered. It really takes a while to gather even a point! For me, I would only get around ten points per year! Rarely would I even get a quest that gave me more than 1 point!"

Mu Lu was trying to drill into Ji Chen how much time and effort he had spent to earn the points.

"Does it really take that long?"

Ji Chen questioned.

"It takes many years simply to get precious information."

Mu Lu spoke like an experienced sage.

But right after he spoke, a small beep came from Ji Chen's body. A bright blue screen popped up in front of Ji Chen.

Seeing the content on the screen, Ji Chen started to laugh like a crazy man!
