Fallen Unknowingly...

Mom and Verna are too busy to choose a dress for the party. Dad and I are checking colleges for admission in PG.

"Apa depending on the rank which I scored the seat will be allotted," I said to dad.

"I know but we have to prefer the best colleges as well as the subject in which you want to study." I nodded and we started listing the colleges along with their last rank and fee structure.

"Sanvi do you know what the time is now?" That's my mom and I turned towards the clock.

"Oh, shit!!!!" Its 3:30 pm.

"Dad let's discuss this tomorrow and now I should get ready in 30 min. I'm dead....." Yeah, I'm dead because getting ready in 30 min is not at all easy.

I freshen up myself and changed to jeans with navy blue off shoulder top. That's my mom's selection. Now the time is 4:00 PM. And I got two miss calls already.

"Hello...." I dailed Sanjay back again.

"Sanvi come with Abhi. I'm at home and I'll come from here directly....." He said.

"Hoo okay..."I said.

"Bye."I thought he will kill me, thank god. However, I have another challenge that's Abhiman. After 15 min's I got the call from Abhiman and he asked me to come to the street no:-2 razed colony from there he will pick me up. I reached there in 20 min's. He's not yet here, so I'm practically waiting. Mean while, I got the call from Janu.

"Hai Janu."

"Hai Sanvi. Where are you?"

"I'm going to party..., anything important?" I said.

"Yeah, I mean my engagement." She said and I'm blank totally.

"Oh okay." that's the only thing i said.

"What okay? You didn't ask me details?" She said. At the same time, I got a call from Abhiman.

"Yeah Janu, I will meet you tomorrow and we will discuss. Now I'm getting another call." I said.

"Okay, Sanvi alright. Bye." As soon as she cut the call I answered Abhiman call.

"Where are you?" He asked in a rude tone.

"I'm at the place which you said road no:-1 raizad colony," I said.

"Yeah I saw you..... turn left, blue car...." He said and as I turned I saw a blue car and of course Abhiman too.

I went to him and we drive in silence and its the best.

"Where is the pass?" He said.

"I don't have a pass." He stopped the car which made me a jerk. He turned towards me.

"Are you serious then how can we enter the party?" He shouted.

"What I know? Sanjay took the passes from me yesterday itself." I said in a calm tone.

He took his phone and dailed someone.

"Hello, where are you, man?" He asked on the phone.

"Fine!!!! how much time do you need to reach?" He said on the phone.

"Okay, I'm coming there." He said and started driving. He didn't even say me details about where we are going and I don't want to ask him. If I talk to him, he will pick the topic called "Aron" and I don't want to argue now. We reached Sanjay home and why here?

"Why are we here?" I said.

"You came here already?" He said.

"Yeah...."I said and He nodded.

"I asked you something Abhiman?" He ignored me and I kept quiet. We came out of the car and I followed him.

"Hai uncle." Abhiman gave a hug to Mr. Raman shirvey.

"Hai Abhi..., after a long time...." And he turned towards me and said.

"Hai Sanvi...." Mr.Raman said.

"Hai sir... I mean uncle." He smiled.

"Come sit." Uncle said and Sanjay's mom came to me.

"Hai Sanvi." And I wished her back. Uncle and Abhiman are busy with their talk and aunty took me with her.

"Sanvi you look gorgeous." I smiled at her compliment. She gave me lemon juice. I'm looking for Sanjay.., I mean why we came here? And where is he?

"Looking for me?" Someone said it my ears and In that sudden split second, I choked my juice.

"Careful Sanvi... You okay?? Sanjay why you prank her all the time?" Leela aunty said and yeah he's Sanjay.

"Mom don't worry, she is looking for me." He turned to me and I'm staring at him.

"I know I'm handsome, stop staring Sanvi." What you!!!!! God!!! Just kill me now.

"I'm not staring at you like if I'm complimenting but what is happening is totally blank in my mind right now!!!!" I said. He held my hand tight and came near to me. Leela aunty is watching us and he knows that.

"Stop dancing if not you have to change your dress....." what? Oh god!!!!!! My juice glass!!!!! in frustration I forget that I had a glass in my hand and half of juice is on the floor and maybe if he won't hold my hand then remaining is going to be on my dress.I pushed him quietly and said.

"Why I'm here?"I said.

"Abhi didn't tell you?" I nodded my head as no.

"Okay, we are going from here. Aron will be here in 10 minutes." He said.

"Then what about Lilly and Kinnu?" I asked because the party is already started.

"They had their passes don't worry." He said and left.

"He teases you a lot right?" Leela aunty said.

"No..., aunty he literally bullies me a lot," I said and she smiled.

"You use to him Sanvi." She said which is totally unclear but i nodded.

"Mom look at me? Is this okay?" Mom? Who is she? Again new twist!!!!!

"You look great Neethu..." Leela aunty said and she smiled.

"Oh!!! let me introduce her Neethu. She is Sanvi and Sanjay's friend." Aunty said.

"Sanvi she is my daughter and Sanjay's elder sister." Oh!!! I nodded and I smiled at Neethu.

"Hai Sanvi I think you're the one who made the accident. Aron said me everything." That accident made my life a huge turn.

"Yeah...I'm the one," I said.

"And Sanjay's so-called girlfriend right mom?" She said.

"Yeah, Neethu," Aunty said. I wish i had a superpower to become invisible now.

"Aunty there's nothing like that between us and you know that," I tried to compress the situation.

"Don't be panic, I'm just kidding. Neethu why don't you take Sanvi's help??? she chooses the best." Neethu nodded and we went to her room. I'm not this kind of person to get that personal. I'm afraid to get close to anyone.

"Sanvi even Aaron said a lot about you and I'm waiting to meet you. Like really???? Sanjay got a girlfriend I know ...., I know the tag was 'so called girlfriend' even he didn't react.., that's crazy." I nodded and we talked about 20-30 mins. Then she took my help to choose heals for the party.

"So all ready?" Neethu asked me and I nodded. I'm not the person who become close to people as I meet at any instant..., I mean I never judge any one but being open in the first meeting is totally impossible for me. But Neethu quite opposite and I can see her truthfulness in her way of carrying everything. Sanjay never said about her may be this topic didn't come between us.

"Let's go Sanvi. I think Aron, Abhi, and Sanjay are waiting for us." So she is coming for the party??? You idiot Sanvi then why will she get ready at this time?

"Sanvi...." I came back to senses.

"Yeah let's go...." I said. We went to the hall.

"Sanvi you're here?" Aron said and I nodded.

"Let's go its 6:00 pm." Sanjay said.

"Sanvi you come with me and they will come in one car." I nodded. Sanjay and me on the bike and they are in Abhiman's car.

"Sanvi hold this." He handed me his phone and started driving. I didn't question him. If he wants to say then he will.

When I saw Neethu, I want to hug her. Mom called me and said to come home as she arrived early. I don't have a choice, so I left home. I informed Abhi to pick Sanvi and come directly to the party. But to my surprise dad said to me take Neethu because its been a long time she didn't meet anyone, I accepted and that's the reason I called Abhi and Sanvi home. I thought of informing Sanvi about Neethu but before I do she met her.

"Sanjay your phone... Someone is calling you and its 3rd time." We are at the party and I forgot to take the phone from her. I took it and answered.

"Sanvi where is Aron?" I asked.

"Someone is talking about the concert. I think they are on the balcony.." She said and pointed the direction.

"Okay wait here. I will be there in 5 min." She nodded and I left.

"Aron..."I called him when I saw him.

"Yeah.." He excused himself and came to me.

"I got a call from Santor university and they want your band to perform in their fest. What do you think?" I asked.

"In which month the college fest in Mumbai??? and in 1 month we are leaving for Delhi. I don't mind to do that but once check the schedule of the Delhi fest. Because I don't want to tie both." He's right we can't mess with Delhi fest.

"Okay, and who's that?" I asked.

"Same about private albums. He wants me too direct web series as he is ready to invest." We laughed at what he said.

"Fine bro carry on." He nodded and left.

"Sanjay...." Its Neethu.

"Hmm...." I said.

"I met Sanvi and I like her." She said.

"Okay, but why are you saying to me?"

"I just thought of sharing and I saw you both in the kitchen that you tease her a lot and I saw you smiling. she is in shock when she met me." I nodded. I know she will get shocked.

"Sanjay...." I looked at her.

"I missed you a lot. I thought of many plans to do with you." When she said that I felt my heart crushed. We do everything and everyone thinks that we're twins but she is one year younger than me. But from two years I didn't meet her and not even tried to talk to her.

"Sanjay I'm sorry...." She said.

"Neethu, Sanvi is waiting for me. I have to go." I said and she nodded.

As I turned I saw Sanvi looking at me but I know she can't hear me in this huge crowd. I went to her.

"So idiot what you want to eat?" she looked at me blankly. I never called some girl out of my circle with name idiot and even inside my circle, i call them with the names. Divya, Lilly and everyone whoever is in my life are different from each other but Sanvi is one kind.

"Why did you call me idiot by the way?" She asked seriously looking damm cute. Damm man why am i this attached to this girl?

"You like one...." I said and at the same time someone called me and I turned to them. Of course its a business party. I don't have an option but to talk to everyone. After 15 minutes when I turned I saw Sanvi with some guy. I went to her but she can't see me.

"So miss.. Are you single?" I heard that guy asked Sanvi.

"I don't think that matters for you!" She said and he smiled. I can't see his face but I think, I saw him.

"Why can't you accept my company?" He said.

"I said it already just before a few minutes, I'm with my friends and I really don't need any company. so please find someone else." Sanvi said.

"You won't give a chance that easily..., fine I will...." Enough is enough I invited her to the party. I cut him and said.

"Sanvi let's go." She turned towards me and she is looking at me like a new surprise is in front of her.

I held her waist and she is surprised by my actions. Then I turned towards him and said.

"May I know your name?"

"Rithvik Mesra... And you're Sanjay Shirvey?" He said and just before a few minutes, his dad talked to me about a deal and his son hitting on girls.

"Yeah, I'm Sanjay Shirvey." He nodded.

"Shall we Sanvi..." She looked at me and I nodded.

We turned and went to the dining hall.

"You heard our conversation?" Sanvi asked and I nodded.

"Let's eat I'm hungry," I said.

"Wait..., call your sister, Aron and Abhiman I don't think, they had their dinner." She said.

"Abhi left just before 10 min, he had work. Aron and Neethu will eat at once." She nodded when I said.

"Sanvi... ." That's Neethu. I'm throwing myself away from Neethu but every time I'm fired in front of Sanvi. Sanvi looked at me I know she had many questions in her mind.

"Did you eat?" Sanvi asked.

"Nah waiting for you people to come..." Neethu said.

"Okay then come..." Sanvi said.

"Let's go. I called Aron and he already had his dinner." Neethu said. We severed our food and sat.

"Sanvi what are you doing now?" Neethu asked.

"I applied for my PG in different universities and waiting for results," Sanvi said.

"Why can't you try for a job?" Neethu said.

"She already worked as a design engineer in Gupta's industry and she completed one year Delhi designing project of our company." I said in one complete sentence later we completed our dinner in silence. Its 8:00 Pm and I thought of meeting everyone for the last one time.

"Sanvi..., be with Neethu or you can be with Kinnu if you want to," I said.

"Kinnu and Lilly left because they planned a date. I'm okay with Neethu." I nodded and left.

I met everyone who is important to dad. After 30mins I came back. But I found only Neethu talking to her friend and where is Sanvi?

"Where is Sanvi?" I asked Neethu.

"She said she will back in a few minutes and left. I thought she is with you Sanjay." What? I dialed her number.

"Where are you? " I said as she picks the call.

"I'm coming..." She said and ended the call. I stood beside Neethu and i saw she is talking to a guy. Do i know him???

"Sanjay this is Deepak my friend as well as a colleague in my medical internship." Neethu introduced him and I kept on nodding at whatever she said.

"Sorry I'm with Bhaiya..." that's Sanvi.

"Neethu now are you okay? You have gone throw a lot and how is your health? Is everything okay?" What? What happened to Neethu?

"I'm ....OK...ay..." Why is she shattering?

"You deserve to be happy. I saw you both when you guys are in pain." Did he say pain? I'm not clear about what he is saying.

"Ha... Okay bye, we're leaving." Neethu said. I looked at Sanvi and Aron they both are confused.

"I already booked the cab it will be in 5min," Aron said.

"What happened Neethu?" Aron asked.

"About what?" She said as if we heard nothing.

"You know what I'm talking about?" Aron said and i kept listening to them.

"I know you both and its been two years stop acting like a child." Aron said.

"How did you know?" I asked him.

"I'm your friend Sanjay and i know about this when you came to Delhi last year."

"Bhaiya I will be back in a few minutes." Sanvi said.

"Sanvi you can stay...." Aron said because she is feeling uncomfortable as she knows nothing about Neethu.

"Aron I'm sorry for what I did!!!" Neethu said.

"What's with you Sanjay? Speak out?" Aron said and now I'm pissed.

"How can I forget about what she did? And you're sorry after 2 years Neethu??? 2 years is not a short period and about what you feel sorry? For breaking my trust or for breaking me into pieces? About what?"I shouted at her. Sorry after two years' time can't be returned.

"Aron drop her home and come to the apartment tomorrow morning. I will take Sanvi with me. Neethu I don't want to drag the situation between us to get worse and let me take my time. Go home. Let's go Sanvi." Sanvi turned to Aron he nodded his head and We left. while driving I'm full of different thoughts and I felt tears in my eyes but I can't be fooled all the time. Boys do cry because we do have feelings and for some reason, boys are more than good at holding emotions and at the same time, we can't hold those emotions inside forever.

"Sanjay..." Sanvi shouted the made me come out of my thoughts and then I realized I'm about to hit the pole. I took the bike to the side.

"Are you okay Sanjay?" Sanvi asked.

"I'm not," I said it and so hard to trust someone else.

"Don't worry everything will get back. Take time." She said and that made me smile.

"Why are you smiling?" She asked.

"You said not to worry and when I'm smiling you're asking me why?" I said.

"I didn't mean that." She said.

"Sanvi she is my sister. We are called twins but the truth is we're not. She chooses medical while I choose mechanical. That's the only thing we did different. We never planned before doing something. We are best buddies and she is always there for me to share whatever I want to. She....she was in her 2nd year, started dating a guy Ram and I'm okay with that. She shared everything what is just between us and I'm okay with that. When we need her the most, she made excuses and that the time I realized she is slowly getting away from us. I tried to explain to her a lot. Buddie my cousin brother is the same as my age but he is afraid of a few things because of phobia and he needs medical care. When I'm busy with company meetings I didn't get time to take care of him. I thought Neethu is there with my family when I'm not. But she is busy with her own life that she can't even realize buddie will be dead if I don't reach him at his peak moment..." i gasped to control my anger.

" I know life changes, priority changes. But how can she share me with someone else?. Ram's family wants me to marry his sister if she wants to marry him. My mom and Neethu know about this but Neethu said that she will convince me to do that. Like what now? how can she do that? Before committing she should have asked me? I refused her and she felt worth less than left what about Buddie, dad and me? How did we feel? How can she change? 18 years is not a small-time,18years she is with us? When I refused her she ignored us..., my whole family. Mom tried to talk to her daily and even I tried to get along with her but she left the home one day saying that we are stressing her life like hell. She started living with ram and my family visited her daily and I stopped talking to her. Buddie.., even today he's in hospital undergoing treatment, maybe if she is with him when I'm not then he wouldn't be in this position. Buddie parents trust my family and buddie doesn't even know that his parents won't exist in this world." i can't hate her. Neethu is my bestie even today but i can't take what happened to Buddie. I'm not blaming Neethu for Buddie life entirely but she should have given a thought before leaving.

"She is sorry for whatever she did? How I can take buddie back to his life? How can I make my mom happy? How can I say that Neethu is back and we can build our hopes?" I hold my tears. I never mind to cry but I don't want to cry for those who don't worth my tears.

"Sanjay...." I turned towards Sanvi and she Hugged me.

"Sanjay I know two years is not small time. But trust me everything happens for a reason. Take time and don't judge any situation on what you saw. Seeing something and assuming something is different. Don't worry you will make everything fine I know." She said and I hug her back. Bcoz I knew i need it.

"I tried to get along with her but she ignored me like hell Sanvi. That pain which I gone throw and which I'm going through whenever I see her is unstoppable. Even I want her back I do miss her...she is my damm sister But... How can I trust her...???" I felt lost lot of times but I never felt there will be someone beside Neethu I can share with. Like now I'm sharing with Sanvi. Dad and mom know my condition but they are going through a lot more than what I'm. I never hated you Neethu but being sorry after 2 years is worthless.

"Sanjay... Please..." I released her.

"Sanjay let me drive." I gave keys to her.

"Sanvi... I'm sorry about this..." She cut me and said.

"You said you never mind if I'm with you in everything then why are you sorry now? I'm okay Sanjay. You can share with me if you want to and I won't force you in anything. I may know you only a few percents but you are now the part of my life. If you're sorry than be sorry for bullying me all the time...." The made me smile. After the situation with my own sister, I never became close to anyone, not even my mom. Maybe Neethu hurt me a lot but what if unknowingly if i hurt my mom?. I closed my life to myself.

"Oh hello sir where are you? I can't pick you in bridal style!!! so you yourself come and sit!" Sanvi said and that's my dialogue. We reached her home first and I went to appartment. Its 10:00Pm and I changed to my casuals. I got call from Aron.

"Did you reach?" Aron asked.

"Yeah and you both?" I asked.

"We reached. Sanju I want to ask you something?"

"What?" I said.

"What happened to Neethu in these two years. When I saw her medical reports, she started hiding them." Aron said.

"I don't know."I said.

"Okay fine." He ended the call. I know I lied to Aron but what is she hiding? What happened?
