Fate/Inheritance

Chapter 59 - 55: The Fall and Escape from the… (Final)

"Tch.. where do I even have to look.." Yamada clicked his tongue in disappointment and purposely and shamelessly looked at the area that is nearly at the legendary 'airport runway' level.

"H-hey! It's still there you know! It's still growing even right now!" As if emphasizing, the female knight cupped her c.h.e.s.ts and angrily said.

"So your basically a late bloomer huh…you poor thing?" Yamada said in pity while he smacked his clenched hand to his open palm like he got an idea.

"W-why!? That means I would look more beautiful when I got older right!?" The woman complained and pointed her sword at Yamada.

"That means you will stay single till in your forties." Crap that was a low blow, I looked at the gasping woman clutching her heart in pain. The instructor as if tired of watching what is happening looked at Reia in pity.

"Sir Reia… seems your still an idiot." He said shaking his head in pity.

"…You also still have not changed Sir Ast… and seems you even found someone like you." She said angrily while glaring at Yamada.

"*nods* He is my disciple alright… still will you let us pass? I need to bail out of this warzone you see…" The instructor said and tried to negotiate.

"Nope, surrender properly Sir Ast. Her Highness destroyed Howling just to get you and the Crown Prince head is at stake also." The woman said something really dangerous there…

"Sorry I will gladly decline." The instructor said and raised Arcadia in a battle stance. For the record the instructor gave the wooden bat to Rein as for being a bait alongside the doppelganger.

"Then… we will take you by force Sir Ast." As if on cue a volley after volley of arrows rained down over our head.

*Clang! Clang! Clang!*

Stepping up myself I deflected all the arrows coming at us with my spear with all the skill I can muster. After the last arrow dropped to the ground, I sighed and dismissed my spear.

"Wow~! I heard of you no. 950, it seems the intelligence was true you are a spear master. But I think you would be interested in this…" The woman called 'Sir Rea' said praising me. But to think I even got famous from them this is kind of dangerous if you ask me sensing the various aura behind her.

"I have an imperial order here from her highness to ask No. 50 and No. 950 that will grant you both citizenship as people of the Karuan Empire and a referral to her knight order that will replace the Captain and Vice-captain for you two." The woman dangled a piece of parchment infront of us as if enticing us but…

"I'm sorry I thought of you as an idiot also but it seems your slightly 'smarter'." I said bowing to her in apology.

"Wait did you just teased me also~!! Urggh your also similar to Sir Ast..." She screeched in anger with a teary eyed face and her sword aura flared at her sword. It seems that was also a signal because countless knights and soldiers appeared holding swords and shields surrounding us and I sensed multiple strong spells directed from above.

"Surrender now the three of you so this won't get any more painful!" She said triumphantly. I also checked my two companions and their really tired.

'I can't break out of this encirclement if I drag this two together with me… I can't also risk leaving Yamada alone because I don't know if it needs to have us both in contact to leave this world… I need to ask that Wizard Marshall for some questions in the future also… *sigh* got no choice then let's make it flashy.' After having my decision, I pulled out a Class Card secretly.

"Before we escape here hmm… was it Sir Reia? Can I ask a question for a bit?" Tilting her head in confusion, she nodded and waited for my question. I need to gather enough prana so I better earn some time for this…

"My question is… what is the biggest and overwhelming thing that would appear in the battlefield?" Seems she truly is an idiot, she closed her eyes and thinked hardly while the soldiers are there awkwardly looking at her.

After a few minutes of silence, I finally got my preparations complete alongside her answer.

"Ah! I understand! It's the extreme altitude bombardment magic! It was used in the Great War and was a game changer that changed the history!... b-but I had that experienced first-hand and it was really scary…*cries*" She said her answer and murmured something at the last part and looked at the instructor in anger. Did the instructor let her became something like a target practice from that stupid bombardment also?

But I shook my head and when she asked why?

"Wrong, you see sword attacks that can cut fortress walls or magic bombardments that shook the earth is good but not the best in making an impact." I said to her and slowly showed her what I hid in my arm.

"…a gun? Is that dwarven made?" Nodding and shaking my head at her question I aimed the ornate golden flintlock at her face and remembered an old thread in one of my favorite forums.

It asked what of the seven regular class's Noble Phantasm style in Fate leaves a deep impression if witnessed personally.

Majority answered the Saber Class because of their flashy Noble Phantasms, even Nero was set as an example more than Arthur's Excalibur.

Other's said that a raging berserker's Noble Phantasm will surely put you in a PTSD state if it is observed with your own eyes.

The Caster Class's Magical Skills akin to Noble Phantasm was also had many votes and opinions. The Lancer class had a few fans due to their practicality.

Archer class had also a strong vote especially a certain snarky one was mentioned alongside a cute and m.a.t.u.r.e Amazon woman with cat ears and the dude that calls almost everyone as mongrels.

The Assassin class also had a lot of supporters about that will leave you with long term nightmares especially if you saw one's result. But my vote was…

"Not a gun and this is not dwarven made Sir Reia~ let me show it to you instead~…« Here is where my life stretches! »" With the first verse, as if a floodgate was opened.

A huge wave of seawater suddenly appeared behind me. Shocked, Ria and the soldiers behind her activated something and teleported them to the location the magicians high above. What they saw was a strange phenomenon that would surely imprint in their minds forever. A literal sea had appeared suddenly and submerged the surrounding area and a strong typhoon is brewing.

The magicians sensing the weather anomaly, slowly descended the platform they made slightly just enough that will not let them caught by the waves of water appearing.

With the eventide tempest ranging about, they heard my voice echo out of the sea.

*Splash! Rumble!*

«"Remember my name as you go! Temeroso el Draque! I am the man who set the sun!"

"You rascals, it's time! The King of Ghosts, Night of the Storm…" » With the sound of the lightning, waves and my words, a galleon ship suddenly appeared in the waters with me at the stern now clad in a pirate clothing of red alongside a red bandana with trinkets alongside it akin to a mix of Rider and a certain 'captain of the Black Pearl' I hold the captain's hat and made a sloppy bow and looked at the shocked faces of the soldiers and declared the True Name of the Noble Phantasm.

«"This is the beginning of the Wild Hunt!!" » As if on que, a fleet of 5 ghost sh.i.p.s suddenly appeared behind the Golden Hind and it's cannons ready to fire aiming at the enemies helplessly floating in their makeshift platform.

Yes… the class I had voted was the Rider Class.

With Phantasmal Creatures unseen from the modern world, Flying Dragons ranging from Western and Eastern Dragons even the once that have a small amount of draconic or divine ancestry, Hyppogryphs, a literal army alongside a chariot dragged by bulls and even the chariot of the swiftest hero and the Pegasus rode by one of the most beautiful and dangerous Servants will surely left you an impact.

Seeing them paralyzed and grounded by the sheer shock, I commanded the sh.i.p.s mentally to go West ignoring them.

"Wh…o is the ones behind you?!" Sir Reia snapping out of her stupor asked of this. To be honest I am starting to get tired of this misunderstandings but if it will help me assist in letting the instructor have a slightly 'longer' life I would gladly escalate the misunderstandings more… (I-I'm not doing it for the laughs okay!)

"We heard of the instructor's infamy you see~ and we heard he knows the location of something really important to us~ so let us just borrow him a bit~ we will return him though for a price of course~! Hahahaha~!!" My voice echoing out of the Golden Hind.

"[krrck, krrrckrr, rkrkcrrrrk…. Ah, Hmmm? How much Sir No. 950? And what is this 'thing' you bandits are searching for anyway]" I heard another slightly magnified voice that felt like someone talking to a cellphone echoing out from Sir Reia. Looking back at her, I noticed a small Mystic Code that seems to be a communication's tool that just activated. Hearing Sir Reia calling the owner of the voice 'her highness!?' with a scared and frightened voice speaks out of who she is.

"An imperial ship full of gold and fresh high-quality spices will do~. It will take us two years to find it and we 'must' find it personally you see~ and we already checked your place so stop thinking you can negotiate here~ and say you already have what we are looking for~. So let's just meet at Shabody Archipelago two years from now alongside the 'currency' we want 'Your Highness~'." Laughing madly, my voice echoed ominously again till the fleet of sh.i.p.s disappeared alongside the eventide storm and sea water while they stood in the dry ground with wet clothes and armor.
