With my sudden outburst Yamada looked shocked and whispered to Ruby who was trying to look like an ordinary book.

"Hey did William ever had that attitude?" – Yamada

"Hmmm… I only saw Will-kun getting pissed like that when they first met and when her sister burnt his collection in his very eyes or their usual morning routine of waking up~ I don't know if there were other instances cause I'm mostly sleeping or busy talking with Caster-san~." – Ruby

"Ho~ Caster ehh~…" – Yamada

Ignoring the two who had a sudden heated argument I looked at the smiling Wizard Marshall in front of me. Thinking it so I remembered how this old man felt weirdly familiar when we first met. Well the bastard said he was cosplaying an anime character who knew he was cosplaying himself…

"How are you doing kid." - ???

"Not good seeing your mug again." – William

Snapping at my reminiscence of that accursed day the old man asked me how well I am being. Oh? You are asking who this old man is? Well knowing who is the maker of Ruby I is already drew the lines who this shitty old man is. His name is Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg he may not be known much even to those who were heavy fanatics in the Nasuverse because of he is not mentioned much but he is famous for a lot but weirdly few things.

First, this old man is one of the "Magicians" globally. You are asking now what is a magician is? Similar to other stories of what magicians are but this time in another level. You see the world this vampire came from has two format of what "magic" is.

First is Magecraft, which is what is considered diverse and common to the magic users in their world. It is the ability to bring about 'miracles' that are possible through science but using unnatural or supernatural means. While the second is what they classically called "Magic" which is 'magic' that is literally the use of magic that is utterly and completely impossible through scientific means given by the current era no matter if you shoved a person or organization an infinite amount of energy, resources or time.

As technology and science progressed the number of what Magic or Sorcery in other terms exist can only be counted to five. I won't tell the details of the other magic is but the vampire in front of me is yours truly the wielder of the second Magic which is Kaleidoscope which its domain is the "Operation of Parallel Worlds". In addition, this old man is a vampire. You're now asking why he is a vampire? Well it is a long story he just basically fought with the king of the vampires due to the weird reason he hates him the first time meeting the bloodsucker. He won but can be considered he lose also because he became a vampire at the same time gone weaker and older.

He is still considered an ally of humanity even though he became one of the 27 True Ancestor vampires around the world but if you give someone who already had the eccentric personality to fight someone because he hates him in their first meeting the ability to travel to different kinds of Worlds well you get something akin to the first Trolls in the Internet but much worse. Trust me I already have first-hand experience with this old man.

"Done talking to someone boy?" – Zelretch

"Shut up old man and don't casually break the 4th wall also." – William

"Ho~ you noticed?" – Zelretch

"The hell noticed! I was being sarcastic!" – William

"*disappointed* I though you noticed you would had been the perfect successor." – Zelretch

"F#ck! So one of the requirements of being the user of the Second Magic is breaking the 4th Wall?" – William

"Naturally! If you can notice the prying eyes of observers from other worlds naturally you would have a much easier time learning Kaleidoscope." – Zelretch

Having an intense argument of our own I talked with him a bit longer and remembered the situation I had write now.

"*cough* So old man what do you have to say in our current situation right now?" – William

"Hmm…. Yeah basically you got lucky and also unlucky." – Zelretch

"Huh? Why? I mean explain." – William

"First you got lucky because the once who summoned you and your caretakers are friendlies." – Zelretch

"Yeah my friend here and I already noticed." – William

Pointing at Yamada who had a heated debate with Ruby about how short should a maid's skirt is I purposely ignored the words and passion their emitting which is really dangerous.

"Hmm you have a very interesting friend their kid as it may he has a potential…. Anyways back to topic as I said you guys are lucky." – Zelretch

Ignoring the look Zelretch is doing at my friend I waited for the bad news that is arriving.

"What I mean unlucky is your whole situation is." – Zelretch

"What do you mean old man?" – William

"Your whole situation can be basically called 'your f.u.c.k.e.d up' situation." – Zelretch

Raising an eyebrow at the weird meaning Zelretch is talking about I think about the reason why he had that opinion why did he get that answer is. I got a blank in what the old man is meaning to.

"Details please." – William

"I'm already getting there. Let's first talk what is the status of the world you currently are. Terradesia is still currently in the Age of the Gods meaning the Mysteries are still pretty thick, monsters and supernatural beings are still diverse and did not live in something like the Reverse Side of the World and lastly Gods exist but currently it's already in a way that the world will start to decide who the is the one in the top of the pyramid is due to one single reason." – Zelretch

"The invasion." – Yamada

Noticing that Yamada and Ruby's conversation is over I looked at him who had a serious face I looked at Ruby's side who had a strangely depressed mood. Looks like Yamada won. Back to topic.

"Yes the invasion damaged a lot of things and is also getting worse. The "Foreigners" as I call them arrived in this world and started a swift and quick invasion devastating the north part of this world destroying the powerful Empire there in a single night." – Zelretch

Looking at our shocked face Zelretch looked at our face and I noticed a trace of pity and sadness in his face but it was suddenly gone. Breaking out of our stupor Yamada suddenly came back to his sentence and asked.

"But how? There should had been a quick response if you said that the Empire is powerful? It's impossible to destroy such a huge country in one damn single night." – Yamada

"Of course it's impossible to destroy such an Empire especially if it's covering a whole continent." – Zelretch

"Bu-" "Let me finish boy. It's truly impossible unless you have three things which is power, time of preparation and lastly decisiveness." – Zelretch

Thinking at what Zelretch said I finally got the reason why I had felt something weird.

"They were already here." – William

"Yes they were already here to be exact they arrived in Terradesia a month before they took action. They disguised themselves as nomads and merchants to quickly move to the different towns and cities of the Empire. After spreading in a single month they totally enacted their plan that destroyed that Empire to ash and rubble." – Zelretch

"What is the details of this plan anyway?" – William

"Well they used what every intelligent species basic instinct is." – Zelretch

""Food?"" – William & Yamada

"*groan* No you idiots it's the instinct of improvement. These invaders had a unique ability to tame the phantasmal creatures and beasts to do their bidding. Not how normal Monster Tamers tame phantasmal creatures and beasts by having a connection to the heart like courting, friendship, etc. but total domination of their wills. Because of their unique abilities they quickly got accepted by the Empire and quickly joined their social circles either through commerce and trading their services, Military or through those noble ladies." – Zelretch

"But it's totally impossible how this "Foreigners" did not get noticed first." – Yamada

"They were actually noticed by the Gods and even the God of Beasts approached them due to how vile their abilities are and some even asked their fellow Gods who are the creators of this clan is but they got nothing. Yet somehow this enthusiasm in their origins got shot down quickly when the God of Beasts returned and told them their cool." – Zelretch

"That's it?" – Yamada

"Yes well the God of Beasts was famous for his straightforward personality and honesty so they quickly accepted what he said and continued their time observing and interacting their creations. Till that night happened." – Zelretch

Looking at Zelretch's face I felt what I already knew what happened.

"This "Foreigners" did not show the world their other ability till that night. That ability is turning the creatures they dominate into something more. That ability is called Monsterfication it literally changes the victim to their very core turning them into grotesque abominations and destroy their very foundation of what the Gods call "Order" and gain enhanced overall abilities." – Zelretch

"With how diverse the application of their ability and enticing their service and a God's approval…" – William

"They had quick approval and has almost zero restrictions in their facilities and when their preparations where done." – Zelretch

"Triple Yahtzee." – Yamada

"Yes they destroyed the Empire quickly and effortless even." – Zelretch

"But the Gods should had moved." – Yamada

"Of course they did, the first Gods who acted first was the raging God of Beasts and the God of War who loved that empire more than the Goddess of Light who loved the humans more. But they were practically devastated also." – Zelretch

"The hidden boss huh." – Yamada

"Yes that's the perfect thing to call that guy was the God of that clan and ambushed the Gods before they even got a foot in Terradesia. I even not know that God's true identity afraid that they will get my location." – Zelretch

"Is that God that powerful?" – Yamada

"I did not get a look much but I don't want to take my chances and endangering the world I am staying also much more when the incarceration of human's history is ongoing." – Zelretch

""Grand Order is happening right now!?"" – William & Yamada

"Y-yeah keep down your enthusiasm it's dangerous even for me here." – Zelretch

""*groan*I really wanna go." – William & Yamada

"Oh I can bring you here""Really!?"" not now you idiots after things died down there of course." – Zelretch

Having another solid goal of saving the world, we focused on what the old man will say.

"Well after severely injuring the God of Beast and the God of War that God hid itself having getting damaged by the retaliation of the Gods. The aftermath is that the God of Beast made an oath and to his creations to totally destroy them so every phantasmal creatures or beast became more s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e to them and will go raging about in their presence while the Gods retreated to their Divine Realm the Northern Continent was toast and in its ruble the clan who is the main perpetrator built a kingdom and is starting to prepare for world dominance." – Zelretch

Having heard about how bleak our chances are Yamada and I paled in fright. But I must ask why are we even in this situation.

"But us?" – Zelretch

"Hmm well the God's searched for a way to defeat these foreign adversaries and even the Dragon Kings and Elementals joined their mulling till Lumos the Goddess of Light found a chance." – Zelretch

""Hero Summoning"" – William & Yamada

"*nods* Lumos discovered that these enemies did not come from this world and she though that to defeat the fire that is threatening the world you should also use fire. Through their simulations, they learned that some world's inhabitance has way more potential than them and if they tap in those potential they can use abilities unique to themselves and gain powerful strength. – Zelretch

Noticing the underlining of Zelretch words I got the idea why we were summoned and I asked him what is that bothered me.

"So what batch are we know?" – William

"Fifth to be exact. The first and the second batch barely killed a Heavenly King per generation before either getting crippled or slaughtered, the third batch reached the doors to their King's throne room before getting some killed by the sheer aura of the King that was leaking out of the door and the survivors in their fright backtracked and was killed by the awaiting ambush. While the fourth barely got a fatal injury in that King's core before the Sage of Space and Time which was one of the Heroes of that time noticing a dangerous attack teleported them out of safety." - Zelretch

Marveling how our "senpai's" actions are per generation Yamada asked a common question.

"But why did they not continue in their campaign?" – Yamada

"*chuckle* They can't, they realized when they returned back to base they were cursed when they entered that throne room making them gravely weakened and the only cure is killing its source which is the King so they made a crazy gamble and took a page from their enemies' book."- Zelretch

"What is it?" – William
