Fenrir: The Wolf Overlord

Chapter 17 - Breach

"Stay safe."

Yui turned back to him with a sweet smile and nodded her head. Then, she opened the door to her classroom and entered it.

'Now, what should I do?'

Cipher thought and walked up to the window. He blankly looked down at the group of reporters through the window, searching for the kid he saw earlier in the crowd.

'...You also think that this is the best time to strike down All Might, don't you? Shigaraki Tomura.'

Cipher thought to himself knowingly. After not finding the kid, he proceeded to sniff out the air seriously for a few time. The sealed window obstructed his sense of smell but he could now be certain that the kid was not there anymore.

He turned back without bothering to recheck and started walking to his class. When he opened the door, he was late just like he expected.

"You are late by 2 minutes."

Aizawa lazily spoke out without even looking at him. On the other hand, Cipher looked at Aizawa blankly. He then took a deep breath to calm down his wavering emotions.

"...Aizawa, some bastards has arrived to this place."

Cipher spoke out in a somewhat annoyed tone. At this time, Aizawa turned his head slightly and glared at him with his red eyes.

"Are you trying to make excuses right now?"

"I don't have any plan to. I am just certain that I saw a bastard outside the gate. In your words, he will be a villain."

Cipher slingtly cringed as he said the word 'villain'. Introducing that kid as a villain was disgusting him in a way. After all, according to what he found out about him, that kid was considered 'lost' and didn't have any criminal records.

On the other hand, he had a criminal record. It was just the fact that no heroes or the police department knew of his identity. His criminal record was basically an unsolved mystery till today.

So, calling that kid with no criminal records a villain, didn't sit well with him. He would have liked to call him with simply a label of 'bastard' or 'kid'. But he was forced to do differently, because he knew that Aizawa would not take it more seriously otherwise.

"....."

But it didn't went like Cipher expected. Aizawa never stirred from his place. He still had the tired and unmotivated eyes resembling that of a dying person.

"What? You don't believe me?"

"Do you have any proof?"

Hearing the unreasonable, Cipher clicked his tongue and entered the class. He was remaining outside the whole time because he wanted to show some respect to Aizawa. But now all of his thought went down the drain.

Inside the classroom, he ignored all the gazes he received, and directly walked upto the window. He then pointed at the crowd of reporters surrounding the gate.

"Right now, I don't have any proof. But by the time you have proof, it might be too late. So, you better do something about that crowd right now."

He spoke out with a slightly unnerving way but Aizawa once again remained completely still. Cipher clicked his tongue in annoyance and held back the urge to punch him.

"I got it. Do whatever you want."

Cipher spat out viciously and started walking towards his seat. He soon sat on his seat and proceeded to silently look out of the window.

"Cipher"

Just some seconds later, Aizawa called out his name. He slowly turned back to him with a blank expression.

"I will look onto it after the class."

Cipher was quite surprised by the sudden declaration. He soon nodded his head and gratefully accepted the offer, as this was the only thing he could do right now.

'If only I was stronger at that time, I could have already killed that kid.'

He shook his head and proceeded to look out of the window once again. What was done was done. He knew that he just had to not make the same mistake once again.

Moreover, he was experiencing a really bad feeling right now. He hadn't seen him today. So he didn't know if it was just the memory of that man haunting him, or it it was just the innate fear of his strength. But he wasn't going to take any chances.

That man was none other than All For One. If he really appeared, Cipher was fully intending on immediately picking up Yui and running away without looking back.

'I am still not strong.'

Cipher thought, annoyed and frustrated at his own weakness.

"Now, hurry up and choose a class president."

Aizawa spoke out but Cipher didn't pay it any heed. He looked out at the crowd the whole time, making sure that any of the two bastards haven't arrived at some point. He couldn't rely on his smell alone. He fully knew that from his experience.

On the other side, all the other students in the class started to give vote to one another. Many of them were fired up and excited. The others were silent but the one who stood out the most was Yoarashi. He remained unusually silent the whole time. His loss yesterday seemed to have given him a big shock.

After some time, the class president was decided from a voting majority. Cipher finally turned his head and glanced back at the class.

'Why is that weak kid the president?'

He clicked his tongue but he didn't openly shout out his thoughts like a certain kid, more exactly Bakugou. On the other hand, the vice president was Momo Yaoyorozu. He accepted her position casually.

Well, the votes he had received was zero. But he hadn't even bothered to search for his name on the board.

Lunch Break

Cipher silently made his way to the cafeteria. But if not for the side-effects of his quirk, he would have never came to this place.

At the cafeteria, he immediately bought some food and sat beside the window. From this place, he could see the entrance of the gate but he couldn't see the outside of the gate. This was why he didn't want to come to this place.

Not finding any other solution, Cipher silently noted out the presence of Yui and several other girls some distance away from him.

Unfortunately, he couldn't look at her anymore as he could abruptly smell the scent of Shigaraki. He stood up from his chair and turned back at the gate. This time, he was fully prepared to transform at any moment, unlike the morning.

But he was waiting for the kid to move first. The main reason, he couldn't smell out the other bastard. He knew that he couldn't smell All For One from his bitter experience, so he was being extremely cautious.

'...He is here.'

Along with his short monologue, the gate he was looking at came crumbling down. The large number of reporters outside soon came flooding inside the school premises.

[Security Level 3 has been breached. All students, please evacuate in an orderly fashion.]

Simultaneously, an alarm started blaring out and most of the people in the cafeteria immediately started running out in an extremely disorderly way. Many others were swept away by the tumultuous horde.

On the other hand, Cipher pushed away everyone who came near him while glaring at the crowd of reporters seriously. His gaze kept on moving from one person to another extremely quick.

He didn't have any choice other than that. The scent of the kid was once again gone completely, so he was relying on his eyesight to confirm that he was no longer there.

Some seconds later, he sighed out in relief, finally confirming that the kid was gone and that man was nowhere to be seen.

Unfortunately Cipher couldn't rest yet. He knew he still had one more thing to do. He turned back and looked at Yui who was completely squeezed between the crowd of panicking students. He took a deep breath in and tried to calm down but to no avail.

<Shut the f.u.c.k up, bastards.>

His voice resounded in the head of every person in the cafeteria. Unfortunately, it didn't quite do the job and the crowd was still running away without turning back.

<I SAID SHUT THE F.U.C.K UP. IT IS JUST THE MEDIA.>

This time, Cipher literally shouted out inside their heads. He also released his aura and covered the entire cafeteria with his terrifying presence in the blink of an eye. And this finally did the job. All the scaredy cats had flinched and stopped in their tracks.

<At least, you fools have some brain. Now, make way.>

He spoke in their head once again and all of them hesitantly followed his orders and dispersed from the place one by one.

Cipher turned back at Yui and saw her staring at him. He nodded his head at her weakly and sat down on his chair once again.

'What am I seriously doing?'

He pulled his hands up to his face and sighed. He soon laughed out bitterly, remembering how he had wanted revenge but he was terrified of just meeting All For One.
