Fenrir: The Wolf Overlord

The battle resumed with All Might in the offense. Even more, it all happened in less than a blink of an eye. Cipher was late to react because he was momentarily surprised by the sudden increase in this bastard's insane speed.

'...This is his real speed..'

Cipher thought as he received the punch with his face and was directly pushed against the ground without any resistance. He turned the blow to his chance to create some distance. He let it drag him even further back, away from All Might.

After stopping some distance away, he slowly stood up and glared at the unmoving hero. Even though he just received a few bruises on his face, he couldn't help but have a huge grin on it.

<You are finally serious?>

"Yes. You might regret asking me to be serious, Young Cipher."

Cipher snorted and dug his paw onto the floor, cracking it up to a good distance. He then put a large amount of force on his limbs and rushed towards the hero.

Cipher was completely sure that he cannot win against All Might in a head on battle of strength and speed. But he wasn't the least bit discouraged. He knew that he will only be able to overcome his limit when he fought a desperate battle. That's the whole reason he accepted to come to this school.

The battle with All Might was the perfect example of a desperate battle. How could he not make use of such an opportunity?

Moreover, the worst possible outcome for him would probably be a few broken bones and limbs, which was much better than a life threatening injury.

The possibility of All For One attacking them when they were tired was not zero as well. But Cipher knew very well that worrying about that at this point will not help him at all.

Right now, what he should focus on was to get stronger through this fight, even if it was by a little margin. His main goal was to break through his current limit.

Knowing his present goals very well, Cipher lunged at All Might with his claws fully spread out. Previously, he didn't use his claws because All Might wasn't serious, but now he had no reasons not to.

<Don't blame me if I accidentally kill you.>

Cipher used his telepathy to convey his message and moved his claws towards the small head of the hero.

In response to his fast approaching claws, All Might simply punched at it. The end result, the hero wasn't hurt but one of the claws had broke from the middle.

Cipher gritted his teeth in pain and could only retract his paw. Unfortunately, he wasn't allowed to take a breather, as All Might started to move. He quickly swiped his broken claw back at the fast approaching hero.

"Your reflexes are quick but your huge body is your disadvantage."

All Might simply ducked under his claws, jumped up and directly punched under his chin. Cipher was completely raised up in the air without being able to resist.

He somehow managed to land on his feet perfectly. But he still had to act fast as a punch was approaching his way. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do expect receive the punch head on.

*Boom*

Cipher crashed on a faraway wall and dented it upon contact. He was hurt but he could finally stand straight. But he still couldn't relax.

He immediately jumped to the side in haste. The next second, All Might came crashing on the place and created a large crater upon his landing.

"....."

Cipher blankly stared at the hero who was walking out of the crater. He had finally realized what he lacked, so he was giving it some serious thoughts.

He had transformed into his huge form so that he could somehow match against All Might's strength. But that was a mistake from the very start. This form lacked the most essential aspect, speed.

If the battle continued to remain like that, then it would be a complete one sided massacre. From the very start, his body was a huge target and it was his disadvantage. Moreover, All Might was still quicker and stronger than him. Therefore, he would only become a sandbag at the maximum.

Cipher finally realized that the way he fought will only lead to his defeat. He hadn't realized this sooner, because it was his first time fighting against someone in this form. But he didn't despair because this time, he still had a chance to mend his mistake.

'A smaller form focused on both speed and power...'

Cipher kept a close eye on All Might, as his body shrinked down according to his thoughts. After a second, his body was less than half of his previous height, a measly 1.5 metres or even less.

"Did you finally realize?"

Hearing the question, Cipher scoffed and readied himself. The next second, he rushed towards All Might with nearly the same speed as this number one hero.

"It won't hurt you to reply, you know."

All Might spoke out casually and barely dodged his first strike. Cipher immediately put force on his front limbs and abruptly turned back without stopping. He then pounced on the hero's back with the same momentum.

Miraculously, All Might managed to turn back within less than a second, and punched out towards him. Cipher was not surprised by the instantaneous response anymore.

He just slightly moved to the side and dodged the punch. Then he clawed at the outstreched arm, leaving behind four stripes of red lines.

'Shallow.'

After his successful yet unsuccessful attack, Cipher immediately tried to get away. But before he could do so, All Might caught his paw and hurled him towards the nearby wall.

'..Not good..'

Cipher rotated his body mid air and turned his body towards the direction he came from. He then immediately tried to defend against the incoming punch.

Unfortunately, he had abandoned à bit of his strength for speed just some time earlier. He couldn't properly defend before, so the outcome was even more clearer right now. He could not rely on his defense.

All Might punched his fore limbs and Cipher finally crashed into the wall. After some time, he slowly slid down, leaving behind a crater on the vertical wall.

'I have speed but not strength. Annoying!! If only I could use them all...'

Cipher stood up with his body swaying a little. The last punch did quite a lot of damage to his bones. He knew they weren't broken but it still hurt a lot. Fortunately, pain was a normal thing for him and he quickly got over it.

On the other hand, All Might had already created some distance between the two of them. He could have ended the fight but he didn't.

The hero had come to realize that Cipher was progressing a lot by learning from his mistakes, through their fight alone. He easily noticed it because Cipher managed to hurt him even when he was serious. It honestly surprised him and he wanted to see the peak, his student could reach before he fell down.

Even if Cipher was a villain before, he was his student now. Moreover, All Might knew that he was not as malicious as others think he was. So, he had really hoped for his improvement.

<We are not done yet.>

All Might simply laughed out at the declaration. But he wasn't mocking Cipher in any way.

"Show me what you have got, Young Cipher."
