Finding Andria

Chapter 14 - FIERY ORANGE BOY 1/3

Inside was a luxury. There were decorations glittering with gold's, tapestry that looks too expensive and other exotic looking things.

He and Irife followed the man named Viole inside. He was taller than Charles and leaner, tan skin with an orange hair shaved on the right side of his head. For whatever reason though the contrasting color looks great on him. They both ended following him on a spacious space where he and Irife sat down on a cushioned chair.

Viole sat opposite them. "I do not have any pastries to offer you nor drinks." He started and turned towards Irife while glancing at Charles.

"So we finally met." He smiled at Irife while she frowned at him. "You always hide yourself behind a door, I couldn't make you or your old man sees me, but it turns out I only needed to keep my promise to Dragon to finally meet you." He grinned while Irife was clearly gritting her teeth. "But who is this with you?" He turned towards Charles and scrutinizes him.

"His my new charge." Irife said. "I brought him here to see you. His name is Charles and had recently awakened, his a new blood."

Viole let one brow rose while returning Irife's stare. "You are dumping him to me?" He suddenly asked.

"My old man asks you a favor to keep him for a while. Those people are after him." She said.

"No wonder both of you looks like sh*t, no offence though," he continued turning at Irife, she glared at him.

"Well tell your old man I can't keep him with me. Their also after me, you already know that." He said crossing his arms in front of his c.h.e.s.t.

"You're the only one right now," Irife insisted.

"Well if its love I'll gladly accept it but I don't like men, I like girls, and you are in the first line." He said winking; it took a lot of Irife's self control not to roll her eyes.

"I can help if it's for other things, not this, I am not a charity." He said this time crossing his legs and tapping his foot on the floor.

Irife needed to change his mind. This was the only place her old man told her to go; Charles didn't have any place to hide other than here.

"Are you a Reaper too?" Charles had suddenly asked, both Irife and Viole turned towards him.

Viole nodded. "Yes. I am. You should address me respectfully I turned earlier than you, I'm like your senior."

Irife sigh her frustration.

"For how long?" Charles asked again.

Viole glared at him. He was silent for the first minute, studying Charles in front of him. He looks rotten spoiled, and he remembered once who and what he was before. It only made him more annoyed.

"That's more than forty years ago. After those monsters killed their own they've let out that damn virus and I was awakened. I was not fool enough to believe anything they said, someone who annihilated his own family for power who would want to follow a lunatic and a sociopath like that so I run away. I hid myself and learned the way. I didn't have the help you are having right now I have to survive on my own. And after a few years I think I did manage myself pretty good." Viole said impressed with himself.

"That is of course thanks to my old man's shop. You have been having work because of those connections." Irife pointed out.

Viole was a lost lamb back in the days, but he did persevere, this Irife acknowledge.

"They killed my family before I learned I was infected." Charles said.

Viole laughed. "That is what they do! They kill! So what the heck would I do with you when I myself am struggling getting out of their radar?"

Charles frowned at Viole's laughed. He was clearly insulted. "I only needed to hide for a moment, but I will go out there and find him myself. I will avenge my parents, my little sister who had died because of thes virus, I will make them pay." He said under his breath.

Viole could only stare at Charles admission. While he was running away from those people this guy here wanted to run back to them? Are they scheming? Was this guy already one of them and now wanted to capture him? He glanced pointedly at Irife, waiting for an explanation.

Irife cleared her throat, "It's exactly what he plans. He was looking for Andria before we all learned he was already awakened." Viole looked like his eyes were going to pop out on its socket staring wide eyed at Irife.

"He was looking for her?" Viole wanted to clarify and Irife nodded.

"You are insane!" He screamed at Charles. "She is practically a God and she came from the same house as that lunatic! You will never stand a chance!"
