Flames Of Passion In Los Angeles

Chapter 11 - Eleven - It is only twelve hours...

His lips plant onto mine, but the thing that bothered me was that I do nothing to stop him kissing me. But also, to be honest, in my defence, that is mainly by the fact that I was not expecting a kiss, especially not from him!...

I think you can now see by what I meant when I said earlier that 'this shit can only happen to me', it happens all the f.u.c.k.i.n.g time in the movies and then it happens to me. Now all I am waiting is from my life to turn into a Rom-Com...

Once our lips part, I still have my eyes shut as I have no clue what to do next. Should I slap him? Should I yell at him? Is this all a dream!?

"I am sorry..." I hear him mumble out, causing me to open my eyes.

"This can't be real..." I mutter under my breath.

"Well... I am sorry to break it to you, but this is real.".

I feel numb... I don't know what to feel, to be honest. I feel betrayed, betrayed by my own body, my own heart, my own mind.

I turn my head towards Liam, as I can see by the way he is sitting, he does not feel any better either.

His head turns towards mine, as his eyes look into mine. "I shouldn't have done that, I am sorry...".

I can't register a word he is saying as I am still trying to comprehend what just happened. The reason why my last relationship ended was that I found out that my partner has cheated on me, this is not the way I want the relationship between me and James to end. I don't want to make that mistake...

I feel like roaring at Liam, I feel like hitting him, slapping him, curse his whole life, but I can't. I can't because I know that somewhere deep in me, I feel the same way about him as he does for me.

I want to say something, anything to him, but I can't. I can't, not because I don't want to, it is because I am speechless. I can't formulate any sentence in my head, the only thought running through my head right now is James.

"I am sorry..." he mutters out once again before letting out a big sigh and standing back up onto his feet.

I look up at him as he is standing right above me.

I could see that he was getting ready to say something, but just as it seemed that I was about to come out, indicated by him opening his mouth, he seals his lips shut.

He turns around and walks away from me. I watch him as the clicks of his smart shoes slowly blends into the noise created by the surrounding passengers. Within seconds, he disappears into the ominous crowd of passengers and that is the last time I saw him for the evening.

I gently touch my lips with my fingers as I can still taste him in my mouth and I can still feel him on my lips, something about his kiss felt almost identical to James's kisses.

*James POV*

I am on my couch with the remote in my hand. I was trying to find something to watch for the past half an hour, but I manage to find nothing. I cannot get Ana out of my head, twelve hours seems way too f.u.c.k.i.n.g much for me. I try to do anything and everything to get my mind off her. The only thing that partially worked was going to the GYM, looking up some recipes online, so that I can prepare her something for when she comes, and going out. But that is really it, out of a million other things I do, only those four do the job.

While on the topic of the gym and all of that, I could start to get ready and hopefully by twelve I can get ready to go to the gym so that I can finish by around two, giving me an hour or so to get freshen up and ready before going back into my office. Being a CEO of the world's topmost leading Aircraft manufacturer comes with its pros and cons. The cons being that I have to work my a.s.s off, but I am not complaining. Mainly because my brothers, Liam and Jason are a huge helping hand. And pros, do I have to say?

I stand up and walk into my room where I get togged into my shorts and my tight t-shirt. Why a tight t-shirt? Because women go mad over the sheer look of my pecks and abs, especially over a slim, skin-tight shirt.

I pack a two-litre bottle filled with water into my bag where I also have my towel and some spare, old clothes and after, I put on my shoes. Finally, one more thing left, my keys.

Once I have gathered all of my things and packed them into my sports bag, I make my way out of my house. While some people say it looks huge, but to me, I don't get what is the hype about it, at least it does its job and keeps me sheltered.

I place my gear bag into the backseat of the car before sitting into the driver seat. I power up the car and I am off to the gym.

Within ten minutes, I arrive. The gym is not that far away from my house, it is just the traffic in the town can be nuts at times, along with all the traffic lights.

I drive into the parking and park in my usual place.

I turn off the engine and upon exiting of my car, I notice the sky turning darker as big clouds once again rule the skies.

"Another f.u.c.k.i.n.g storm... great...".

I quickly grab my things and make my way to the entry of the gym where I am greeted by my personal trainer. He is older than me by like five years and yet looks my age.

I quickly place my stuff in my usual place and get on with beginning my daily workout.

From burpees, I move onto lunges, then I do push-ups, sit-ups, running in one spot. At this point, the procedures mixed with my coach's voice are indented into my brain. Once I finish an exercise, I already know what is next without him telling me.

From the 'warm-ups', I move onto the more serious workouts, like lifting weights, running on treadmills, going on the iron pumps and so forth.

By the end, I am a sweating, muscular mess, sweat patches all over my body making my c.h.e.s.t that bit more vivid from my sweaty t-shirt pressed onto me. As I make my way towards the changing rooms where I left my gear bag, I see many heads turn my way. I smirk to myself as I know how good my body looks, hard work pays off, eventually...

I get my bag, but something that I usually do is I would have a brief shower to wash off all the sweat, before changing into my spare clothes and making my way home, less smelly. It is also better for the car.

I walk out of the changing room, my hair is wet from the brief shower I took. I head outside and instantly I feel the refreshing feeling of the gentle breeze blowing through my hair, at times the winds would increase to gusts, making me quicken my walk towards my car.

Once I am in, I give the sky another brief look before starting up the engine.

The sky has definitely darkened, looks like I was right after all, a storm is on its way. Anyways, I drive out of the car parking and I am heading back towards my house.

The journey back is usually shorter than the journey to really anywhere...

Anyways, I arrive at my house in seven minutes, yes, that is very precise, I mean, what do you expect? I am a CEO after all. I quickly get out of the car and I grab my stuff before heading into the house. Immediately, I receive notifications on my phone since I had no WiFi connection at the gym, and one of them is an amber Thunderstorm warning from a weather app that I have. Shit is about to get interesting...

I take off all of my clothes, and yes, if you are wondering my u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r too... So now my d.i.c.k and balls are exposed to the outside world, too bad the window blinds are down, plus they are too far for the world to see my huge shaft. Should I?... Nah, not today... I would usually go out and take a stroll on my balcony, skin n.a.k.e.d. Paparazzi love it.

I immediately head into the shower and upon me entering, I push the faucet to allow water to run. I adjust the temperature and I begin showering.

Twenty minutes later, I come out of the bathroom and I walk into my big, dark grey coloured bedroom and I head to the drawer where I get my u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r and a tanked top.

But I make another short trip into the bathroom to shave any of my facial hair that has grown over the past week. After shaving, I apply some aftershave.

After that, I head over to my big closet where I have all of my suits, shirts and ties assorted in colours contrasting from the lightest to the darkest. Right now, I feel like darker colours would suit me. Dark reminds me of l.u.s.t, dark reminds me of s.e.x, dark reminds me of Ana.

I take a dark navy suit and a white shirt and to top all of that, I take one of my many black ties. I button the two buttons that are by my abdominal area before heading over to find a suitable pair of shoes that I'll wear. I already know which pair, the challenge will be to find them.

I walk to my 'shoe closet' that is right beside my door. It is filled with my smart shoes with and exception of a pair or two of my converse shoes here and there along with some other sneakers.

I begin looking, and to my surprise, I find them instantly, my brown pair of leather Ted Baker's smart shoes.

I sit on my couch as I put on my shoes and tie their laces. Once I have that done, I head into my room and I quickly blowdry my hair before combing it and to finalize everything, I spray on one of my strongest colognes.

That is me done.

Before leaving the house, I grab my black buttoned coat that stretches halfway down my t.h.i.g.hs.

I button up the coat before heading out. Once the door is locked, I make my way to my black Mercedes. Right before entering, I head a loud bang, thunder. Seconds pass before the first few drops make their landfall on me and my car.

Once I get in, I start up the engine and I am off to my building.

*Ana POV*

We have boarded, pushed back, our engines are up and running, now we are next in line for takeoff. The plane in front of us takes off. I can hear its thrust over the sound of our plane as it begins speeding down the runway, getting faster and faster.

A minute passes before the engines of the Boeing 777 spool up as the plane taxis, line ups and waits on the runway.

Seconds later, I look out the window and I can see the spinner of the engine beginning to spin faster as it spools up, right before the engines reach their full power. I cannot help but be mesmerized by the sheer power of the engines as we race down the oldest runway in Euromania International.

In what seemed like seconds, I can feel the plane begin to slowly tilt upwards before becoming fully airborne. As we climb further from the ground, the engine roar becomes more defined.

Oh god, help me get through this flight...

*James POV*

I arrive and park in my reserved place. I turn the key as my engine stops. But before heading out and towards my building, I take two mint gums from the compartment found by the passenger seat. I am now ready.

I head over and enter my building where I was greeted one of my secretaries, more like f.u.c.k-colleagues. I send her a wink and admire the way she melts.

I head and enter the main elevator before pressing the number at which my office is at. Floor 50, the top floor of the building.

And from there on, my shift starts. From three to nine.

*Six hours later*

I ride down to the ground floor and once I reach the ground floor, that is when I can see the power of this storm. The rain is insane. I thought that last weeks storm was strong. That one is nothing compared to this one. At least I always have a spare umbrella for my secretary.

I walk over to her, as I see her friendly smile flare up on her face.

"I am assuming your umbrella?" she says as my umbrella is already in her hands. The way she is holding the umbrella reminds me of how she always holds my c.o.c.k. F.u.c.k... not now...

"Mind-reader..." I say as she begins to lightly giggle.

"You need me to drop you off home? Since I know you would usually walk." I offer.

I can see her hesitating, but I don't know about what...

"I mean... if you don't mind... I don't want to cause you any trouble..." she replies.

"Don't be ridiculous, come on, it is not like you live in Las Vegas," I reply, as I see her smile.

I then hear Matt, he is like the second CEO of the company.

"Do you want me to lock up the place?" he asks.

"If you don't mind, bud. Thanks a million," I reply as I give him the broad ring with many keys on the ring.

After that, both me and my secretary, Elisabeth, head out into the horrid storm.

I let her have most of the umbrella as I can feel my suit getting wet, but I don't care. I help her point the umbrella towards the rain as we head towards my car.

Once I reach my car, I open the door for Elisabeth before I jump into the driver seat.

"I can never get over how nice your car looks," I hear her voice as I turn on the car.

"Thank you, I am glad you like my taste," I reply, smiling at her before I drive off.

First I stop off at Elisabeth's, where she gets her stuff, but before she does anything else, I grab my umbrella. "Wait in your seat, I'll be over to your side in a second.".

I rush over to her side before opening the door for her and placing my umbrella right under the door so that she can get out of the car without getting wet by the rain.

We both begin walking towards her door as she gets out her key from her purse. I follow her to her door.

she unlocks the door before turning towards me. "Thank you so much for the drive.".

"You are welcome...".

I look into her eyes as I begin to slowly close in the space between us. But as our like had a distance of only a few centimetres, she moves back.

"I am sorry..." she says.

"You can't do this to the girl who is madly in love with you... I don't want to do that to her," she adds.

I look at her as begin to feel frustrated, frustrated because she is correct. What was I f.u.c.k.i.n.g thinking?!

"I am sorry-" but I cut her off.

"No, you are right... I am sorry..." I say. I can see a small smile grow on her face.

"Thank you..." I add.

"You are welcome. Good luck..." she says.

I look at her confused.

"Good luck with the girl..." she elaborates.

I nod. "Thank you, goodnight, Elisabeth," I tell her as we both exchange our goodbyes.

"Goodnight, James.".

I give her another smile before turning around and start heading towards my car.

Once I reach my car and sit in the driver seat. I reflect on what just happened.

Elisabeth is right, I can't do this to Ana, because she would never do that to me... I know that she wouldn't. Keep strong, James. Keep. Your. Cravings. At. Bay.

Anyways, I start up my car and I begin my way back towards my house.
