Flames Of Passion In Los Angeles

Chapter 32 - Thirty-Two - HOLLYWOOD.

*Ana POV*

We both enter the car and within seconds he turns on his beast and before I knew it, we were off.

I can't help but notice the smirk that is stretching across his face every time I look at him.

We stop at a red sign, that is when he takes me by surprise. He turns around to me, looking into my eyes.

"I love it when I see you smile..." I gently trail off.

His smirk grows bigger, causing me to smile along too.

"I should really be the one saying that to you because your smile is worth more than a billion dollars.".

His words leave an instantaneous effect on me. I feel myself blush.

"I never fail to make you blush, eh?" he whispers into my ear.

I giggle as a reply. "What do you think?".

He raises an eyebrow before answering, "You know, I think I do a pretty good job, making you blush.".

"Okay, if you say so," I giggle.

"Hey, want to see something crazy?" He asks.

"And what is that?".

"It's a yes or no answer," he replies.

I take a brief second to think.

"You know what, why not, is our date night-" I didn't finish my sentence when I felt a sudden increase in speed, I was pushed back into my seat as James pressed down the gas pedal.

"James!" I scream, looking out the windshield in horror. He zig-zags through the traffic.

"Okay, James, you can slow down now..." I say and he replies with a chuckle.

We reach a clearance and he speeds back up again.

"James," I call out.

"James, please slow down..." I say.

He laughs. "I am a good driver, there is no need to be scared...".

I was about to say something when he suddenly turns left, causing the car to drift ever so slightly before we continue driving forward.

"James, I am not kidding, slow down!".

He gives me another laugh before actually listening to me and slows down. Seconds pass before we stop by a red light.

"How was that?" he asks, but I don't answer. Instead, I rest my head on my hand that is anchored by the door, thanking the lord that I am still alive.

"It wasn't that bad, was it?".

"You could have killed us both!" I reply.

"You know I am not that crazy...".

There was a moment of silence. I open my eyes back up and look at him, just to see a smug smile patched on his face as he is looking at me.

He causes me to giggle, I try to make myself look as if I was angry at him, but he is ruining it with that smug smile!

"You are trying to convince me that you are mad at me, are you?".

"No..." I reply. "I don't have to convince you because I am actually mad at you...".

I am forced to turn around as a wave of giggles hits me.

"Look at me..." he growls.

"No," I reply.

"Why is that so?".

"Because I said so..." I reply.

I hear him growl behind me.

"Its also not like you are going to do anything about it to me," this time I turn around and look at him.

"Oh is that so?" he asks.

"Yes...".

"Be careful with what you say..." he whispers harshly into my ear before pushing the gas pedal down, "because it looks like to me you are searching for trouble.". I feel the car accelerate.

"Maybe that is because I want to be in trouble..." I reply.

"As I said, careful with what you say..." he growls back at me seductively.

A couple of minutes pass before we began driving up a hill. That is when the realisation kicked in, we are headed towards the large 'HOLLYWOOD' sign.

"Oh my..." I begin, I am completely mesmerised by the huge sigh as it glowed in full glory.

"I love it when I get to surprise you," I hear James say as we get closer to the huge sign.

Within minutes, James turns left and enter a small carpark, instead of parking into a lot, he continues forward, overrunning the carpark and heading around the small mountain.

"Where are we heading?" I ask.

"A place a little more private..." he replies. I couldn't help by notice a small smile grow on his face.

He drives a could more meters forward before stopping and turning off his car. We both exit and head towards a gate, revealing the beautiful lights of Los Angeles. Slightly to our left is the small remnants of the sun, just above the horizon, giving the sky a beautiful goldy-orange colour. The scatter of clouds in the sky reflect off a pink colour.

Then, behind us in the 'HOLLYWOOD' sign. So, so, so beautiful.

Along with that, the cold breeze has calmed down, therefore allowing me to stay out in my dress without freezing to death.

"Holy cow..." I mutter under my breath.

"You like it?" James asks me.

"Absolutely! I love it!".

"Here... follow me...". We both walk back to his car.

"Wait for me right here..." and I do, I lean against the car, taking in the aesthetical view.

Seconds pass before James comes back, handing me a glass. I see a champagne bottle in his other hand along with his glass. He pops open the bottle before pouring some of the beverage into my glass and some into his.

"Cheers..." he says before we cling glasses.

Minutes pass before a car drives by us and parks beside up. A young couple comes out of their vehicle before looking out towards the beautiful lights of LA.

Another car followed them and parked somewhere close by.

"A 'more private' place, I see..." I tease him.

He lets out a chuckle.

"Looks like my secret place is not as secret as I thought it was..." He gives up in defeat.

"But you know how they saying. 'The more people, the merrier, '".

"That's very true, " he agrees.

We stay there for many minutes, sipping our champagne. Then we joined up with the other two couples and enjoyed the beautiful view together.

It came close to around 10 when we went back into our car.

"Alright... it's time to go..." James says before powering back up his car and within minutes we are off, heading down the road, towards the busy streets of LA.

"Where are we going now?" I ask.

A smile grows on his lips.

"Home.".
