Mr. Fuente was brought to the hospital and was brought straight to the operating room.

Tim never left Kira's side until Vince, the family lawyer came.

"Will I be detained?" Kira asked worriedly to Vince.

"Don't worry, you will not go to jail if we can prove that you just did it as self-defense," Coby said to Kira.

Kira nodded her head,

"Missus, live everything to me, and I won't let you down," Vince said when he notices the worries on Kira's face.

"Thank you," Kira said.

Kira and Vince went silent when the officer came for questioning.

Tim patiently waited until Kira and Vince came out from the interrogation room.

Tim heaved a sigh of relief when he saw Kira and Vince came out with the police officer.

"How did it go?" Tim asked.

"We can bail her out," Vince said.

Tim nodded his head, "That's good then, " he said.

"I just have to process her bailing so that she can go home with you," Vince excuses himself.

Tim just nodded his head. 

Tim took off his coat and put it on Kira,  he then held her and bring her to the waiting chair.

"Are you alright?" Tim asked.

Kira just nodded her head lightly.

Tim took a deep breath.

"The officer who assisted Mr. Fuente in the hospital called me," Tim said after a while.

Kira froze for a moment before she slowly turned her head to Tim.

"Mr. Fuente is still fighting for his life," Tim said.

"H-He's still alive?" Kira asked.

"Ennn..." Tim nodded, "But still unconscious," He added.

Kira pulled back her gaze, she doesn't know what to feel, she still feels threatened by him, but somehow, she thought that he shouldn't die.

"He shouldn't die," Kira mumbled.

"Dying is such an easy punishment to him," 

"He has to pay for what he did to my parents," She added.

Tim turned his head to Kira with his knitted brows, " What are you saying?" He asked.

Kira sigh and tears started to fill her eyes as she thinks of her poor parents.

"Mr. Fuente confesses his crime to me," Kira said.

"It wasn't your father, Tim, they didn't die during the accident."

"Mr. Fuente plotted my father's death, and it's just happened that your father got involved with the accident.

"W-What?!" Tim was stunned!

"He plotted my father's death because of his so-called love for my mother, but my mother refuses to come with him, so, he decided to kill both of them by making the car fall to the bottom of the cliff with my parents on board."

Tim doesn't know how to react to the truth!

His father has lived with guilt all his life, thinking that he accidentally killed Kira's parents!

But now, it turns out that somebody has plotted for it!

If that's the case Mr. Fuente shouldn't die!

He has to pay for all of his wrongdoings!

For killing Kira's parents and for attempting to kill Kira too!

Kira is having nightmares about Mr. Fuente, but thanks to Tim who is always in her side to assure that everything is going to be fine.

Kira tried to live her life and as days pass, she slowly gets back to her self.

Aileen's condition has improved too, she regained her consciousness after a week in a coma.

"Granny!" Yana excitedly runs towards her grandmother's hospital bed.

Aileen slowly turned her head to Yana. She couldn't contain her smile to see her granddaughter again!

Kira entered Aileen's hospital room. She looked at Aileen with a smile on her face.

Aileen still looked weak and pale, she still has oxygen hose connected to her nose. Though she still has to stay in the hospital for a little longer they were still thankful that she is out of danger now which means that hey still has a chance to be with her until she gets older!

"Granny," Yana held her grandmother's hand, " Yana misses granny," She said.

"Yana is sad when granny is sick!" She added.

Aileen revealed a faint smile, she slowly lifted her hand and c.a.r.e.s.s Yana's hair, "Granny is feeling better now," She said in a faint voice.

Just then, the door opened again and Tim entered.

Tim stood on the door with a bouquet of tulips flowers in his hand. He stared at his mother on the bed.

Aileen looked like crying when she saw Tim.

"Son!" Aileen blurted out.

Tim blinked his eyes a few times, "M-Mom," He mumbled.

Aileen couldn't hold her tears when she heard those words from Tim's mouth!

It was a long time already since she heard him called her mom!

Her son s calling her a mom again!

Did this mean that he already forgive her?

Kira's gaze darted back and forth to Tim and Aileen, she knows that these two need to talk.

"Yana," Kira called her daughter, " Would you like to come with mommy?" She asked.

She just wants to take Yana with her outside the room to give Tim and Aileen to talk one on one.

Kira held Yana's hand and brought her outside the room.

Tim looked down at the flowers in his hand when the door closed.

He doesn't know how to start a conversation with his mother.

"I-I brought you flowers," Tim said.

Aileen smiled, "I'd love to smell them, could you bring them closer?" She asked.

Tim nodded his head as he took a step closer to Aileen's bed.

"You still remember my favorite flower," Aileen said.

"I didn't forget anything about you, mom," Tim said.

"You called me mom for the second time today," Aileen said with her teary eyes.

"You can call me mom again," She added.

"I just realized that life is so short, I don't want to live in hatred, no matter what I do, even if I continue to hate you, I can't change the fact that you are my mother, and you're the one who gave birth to me."

"If it wasn't for you, I won't be able to meet Kira and I won't have a chance to have a lovely daughter like Yana," 

"Kira was right, everything happens for a reason," Tim added.
