Forgotten One

Right after the man dodged the 3 Point Scorpion's stinger, he took out his whip and twisted his body in the air. He began lashing out with his whip, with incredible speed and technique. The Scorpion was taking the beating until…

"Kee Kee"

Pieces of its rough hard body began to crack and reveal its tender meat. The scorpion was a bit fl.u.s.tered and it tried to look for an escape route. It jabbed its pincer into the sand and made a small dugout. It jumped into the whole in an effort to bury underground and escape.

In the sand is where the scorpion had its greatest fighting capabilities. The man didn't want to lose this chance and he chased wildly after the Scorpion. The stinger wrapped around the whip and pulled the man flying along with it.

A voice came out from the distance, "Hey, need some help with that."

It was Lei Shu's voice, but the man didn't seem to reply, he was too focused on the battle.

Lei Shu knew that if he didn't take this chance than he may not find any food for a long time in this barren desert. Lei Shu jumped out and thrust his dagger into the ground. The dagger pierced its stinger and it instantly let go of the other man.

The other man looked over at Lei Shu and nodded his head in thanks.

Not it was a 2 on 1 and the Scorpion was looking a bit unfavourable. The sand around the Scorpion began to shift and turn, 2 more dark mahogany Scorpions were surfacing themselves. It looked to be a 3 on 3 now as Billa jumped into the fray. The man gave Billa a second glance of worry but when he saw that it was on their side, he cooled down a bit. The man's scorpion had already been poisoned by Lei Shu's dagger, so it was slowing down every minute or so.

The man continued to lash out his whip and pieces of hard mahogany armour were flying into the air. The whip strikes were so fast and frantic that it even began to heat and burn the meat of the beast wherever he struck. This man was cooking his prey before he even finished killing it, what a domineering move.

When Lei Shu looked over and saw that everything was fine with that man he was reassured once more. He retrieved his dagger and ran straight towards the Scorpion. He had already remembered its style of fighting; he preordained the beast's movements and dodged each of them swiftly. It looked as if Lei Shu was dancing with each step as he grew closer in proximity with the beast, the man looked over and was inwardly shocked at Lei Shu's combat abilities.

Finally, when Lei Shu got to the scorpion he feinted with the dagger. The scorpion dodged because if he was poisoned than there was no way for him to escape. However, the dagger was just a feint, Lei Shu uppercut the beast in mid-air.

"BANG"

A loud sound rang out and by the time Lei Shu looked back down, his opponent changed from a 3 Point Scorpion to a 2 Point Scorpion. Lei Shu had knocked one of its fang-like protrusions cleanly out of its mouth in one blow.

The Scorpion was sent into a daze, its brain had started to vibrate from being slammed into by its own skull. Lei Shu knew exactly what he was doing and the impact it had on the Scorpion. Back on Earth, he had taken MMA and this move was called an uppercut. On this planet, you would need to be at the Mind Forging realm to even begin learning any techniques. Lei Shu had a giant upper hand, while the Scorpion was in a daze, he quickly went to its other end.

"RIIIIP"

He slashed down with his dagger and removed the stinger from the Scorpion the man was fighting. The scorpion rang out in pain as it didn't expect to be surprise attacked by someone else.

The man was not angered with Lei Shu's interference, he calculated and took this opportunity to use his whip once more. While the Scorpion was angered, the man's whip made contact right along its back. The path of his whip followed directly along the Scorpion's spinal cord.

"BANG BANG BANG"

The sound of continuous wh.i.p.s rang out, first armour-like skin was sent flying, now it was pieces of flesh and bone. The man continued lashing out with his whip until he couldn't strike anymore. The scorpion's organs had all ruptured and the only thing left was a nutritious soup, resting within the body of the Scorpion. The body acted like a bowl because everything inside its body had been turned to mush.

That was 1 Scorpion down and 2 to go. With fewer things to worry about this battle would be much easier.

The man's voice finally rung out, it sounded a bit deep and from his voice, you could tell he was a very humble man. He spoke with respect, "Thank you, Brother after we defeat all these beasts, I will cook up a feast. Please don't skip out on this offer, back where I'm from I was an upcoming chef. Anyone who knew anything about food would call me, Thousand Hands Tian Fu!"

Lei Shu stood on top of the head of the Scorpion as he fought, he oozed out a domineering air. "Brother Tian, how could I turn down an offer from the Thousand Hands himself. My name is Lei Shu, but you can call me Brother Lei. Although you can offer a feast, I can only offer my services and help right now, but in the future, I hope I can offer my friendship as well."

Tian Fu's voice rang out as he came surging in to help kill the remaining Scorpion's, "As do I Brother Lei, as do I."

Tian Fu faced the scorpion head-on and struck out his whip. The end of the whip was aimed between the eyes of the scorpion. The scorpion jerked its entire body backwards in order to escape the strike. Lei Shu leapt up into the air and landed on the whip. He effortlessly ran across the whip and drove his dagger into the scorpion's thick skull.

Lei Shu jumped down onto the ground and before that action even finished, Tian Fu had used his whip to catch the hilt of the dagger. He pulled down with all of his might and the dagger began tearing through the flesh of the scorpion. Tian Fu pulled all the way down until Lei Shu could reach for his dagger from the floor.

Lei Shu walked up and pulled his dagger out of the already lifeless beast. As he removed his dagger the body of the beast fell, it finally succ.u.mbed to the poison and the injury from the dagger had directly cut through a few organs like tofu.

The 2 acted with complete harmony from beginning to end, they looked as if they had braved many battles together and had gotten accustomed to each other's fighting style. "Brother Lei, is that wolf you servant beast or mount?"

"You're mistaken Brother Tian, this Demonic Wolf is one of my most precious comrades. We have faced death together; we have given each other our backs and we have given each other our everything. He is my family."

"Brother Lei, I'm quite surprised. No one in my family has kept a beast forever as just a comrade. I'm awed by your every action; this world is broad, and I have much to learn. A comrade of yours is a comrade of mine, come let's join the battle."

Billa was currently too fast for the scorpion to keep up with. Billa was running circles around the scorpion and the scorpion was actually chasing. If you looked from far away, you'd only be able to see the scorpion, it looked like it was trying to chase its stinger. What they couldn't see is that every l.a.p around the scorpion Billa did, she also clawed at the scorpion ankles.

Without the scorpion noticing, Billa had exposed a clean ring of flesh around each of the scorpion's legs.

"FLASH"

A whip struck out into the air. It crackled in the air as it approached the scorpion. Instead of going for its head or body, the whip was incredibly low. Only a skilled whip wielder would be able to pull off this particular strike. The whip hit one of the exposed ankles, after the first impact it bent around to the next ankle, and the next ankle, and the next ankle."

"AAAAAAAAAA"

The scene was quite astonishing, Lei Shu didn't even have time to react before all of that unfolded in front of him. Billo exposed the flesh and once the whip struck all the exposed areas it was over. The whip took the exposed chunk straight out of the scorpion's ankles. The scorpion's feet were now disconnected from the rest of its body, it was stuck on stilts for legs and with every step, it ground sand into its exposed flesh.

Billa jumped and sunk his teeth into the stinger, removing the pointy extremity completely. Practically disarming the beast.

"Brother Lei, onto the feast. I will prepare something quick and, on the go, because I don't have the proper ingredients." Tian Fu took the first scorpion and expertly removed the hard outer layer of skin. The meat on the inside had already been cooking from the previous whip lashes. He sprinkled a white powder with green and black dots into the meat. He chopped it up into thick chops and served it directly like that. "This right here is my Fu family's secret seasoning, I also put a touch of my own as you can see the green and black colouring. The green is from the seeds by the pond we crossed in the desert. The black is from the scorpion itself, I shaved off a bit of the outer skin and it has a sweet flare to it."

The next scorpion had turned into soup. He propped the beast's body up and lit a small fire beneath it. As the soup inside its body began to bubble, he added the green seeds and black powder. He then took out a small jade bottle. It smelled like a thousand spices. "This is my homemade, one of a kind, Thousand Hands Sauce. He drizzled the honey gold sauce into the soup and stirred. Steam filling the air above the beast's body, it made Lei Shu's mouth water and Billa had a pool of drool forming on the ground.

"As you can see, I like preparing my meals during battle. I purposely cooked the first scorpion during the battle with my whip. It was meant to cleanse your pallet and give you a small introduction on the delicacy of a scorpion. The next meal I kept smashing until it became a soup. The soup absorbs the seasoning perfectly and my secret sauce just blends in without anyone noticing it wasn't a part of it in the first place. Now for the last dish,"

Tian Fu turned his body as he solemnly looked at the last scorpion. That poor soul was still alive and breathing. He was on the verge of death but seeing his brethren be killed and eaten right beside him had made him lose all sanity. He looked at the chef with fear in his eyes, he wanted to end this, he wished he could have been eaten already.

"Now onto the last one. This one will be specially prepared for you 2. Because it is my first-time meeting you guys, I will have to make it a memorable one. I will cut off pieces of the beast and serve them freshly to you. Each piece will be fresh, and it will come from a live beast." Tian Fu used the whip to tie the scorpion up. It was laying on the floor when Tian Fu came over with a giant butcher's knife. He swung down and cut a huge nice clean piece of meat off. He began from the bottom and continued all the way to the top. He removed the piece of meat from the body, mixed the seasoning in with the sauce and then let the sauce boil in the sun. Only once the sauce was boiling did he dip the meat. The meet got softer the further they went up and the softer it got the more sauce it would absorb as it was dipped into the sweet goodness.

By the time they 3 were done eating they were all stuffed.
