From Rebirth To Perfection

Chapter 2 - Name: Akhil

As I walk through the forest, a sudden realization has struck my mind.

"I have no name... I should name myself then. Can't walk and change this world and to know that I have no name..."

After that, I started to think about how I should name myself when I suddenly heard large footsteps to the left of me.

I immediately try to focus towards the direction where the footsteps were heard and I sensed some amount of Reiatsu radiating from...

'It's a hollow. It seems that it has not noticed me due to my concealment. Wait... I wonder if Hollows give EXP when they die...'

'Time to test it out, then.'

After that, I started to slowly walk towards the location of the hollow. After 2 short minutes, I have found it.

It is a semi-huge hollow, 5 meters in height, with huge claws extending from its fingertips. It's head resembles an eagle, with the difference of its eyes, which have red aura radiating from them.

After my observation, I slowly reach for my Zanpakuto with my right hand. After that, I cover the blade of my Zanpakuto with my Reiatsu and start to slowly walk towards the Hollow.

'I see. It seems that the 'Sealed' stage not only prevents Reiatsu from radiating away from my body, but it also prevents any reiatsu that I use to be undetectable, atleast undetectable to Hollows. I don't know if it would work on Captain-like opponents, especially on someone li Aizen.'

As I think about that, I am right behind the Eaglow. Yeah, I have a nickname for a hollow that I am about to kill, while I do not even have a name for myself...

In any case, I unsheated my sword and in quick motion slashed the Eaglow's back. As I finish the attack, I can hear Eaglow's hiss getting stronger due to amount of pain I inflicted on it.

However, Eaglow suddenly turned around and slashed it's huge claws towards my head.

Immediately seeing that, I knew that I could not dodge that with my current speed, so I immediately put my zanpakuto in front of my face and parried that attack.

"Uf... That was a close one..."

After that short sequence of attacks, I backed off couple of meters and eyed the Eaglow. I stay focused on it watching for any moves it may use, while in my mind I was wondering how I could kill it quickly without being damaged by these claws.

While I was thinking of new tactics, the Eaglow suddenly spoke.

"Hmm... It SeEms thAt yOU aRe a ShINiGaMI, BuT You arE DreSSed dIffERenTLy... WhO are YOu?"

"...What difference would it make to a dead hollow even if I tell you?"

"You LiTTle..."

As he was talking to himself, I use that chance to run towards him as fast as possible, and in 1 swcond I appeared right ahead of him.

"Say goodbye, Eaglow"

Right as he was about to say something, I slashed his mask with my sword, effectively cutting the hollow's head in half.

"... You know, I find it funny that 'the system' has named him according to how I named him... Oh, now I remember I need to name myself."

As I said that, I gained an idea and immediately sat down in meditation pose and put my Zanpakuto on my l.a.p and started to drift away towards Zanpakuto's inner world.

As I open my 'eyes' I find myself in space that is only made of white floor and the atmosphere that can only be described as... chaotic. Atmosphere consists of many colors jumbled together, with clouds made of... some brown substance. I personally don't know what the f.u.c.k this space is.

After my initial analysis, I start to look around and see that everywhere the situation is basically same. Seeing that, I pick some random direction and start walking.

After some time, and seeing landscape not changing in the slightest, I thought about leabing when I suddenly saw dark orb falling slowly from the sky.

As I watched it slowly fall, the orb started to reshape itself growing limbs and head from the orb until human-like body appeared with original orb being in the humans right eye.

Suddenly, I heard the human speak.

"You know, you should probably stop thinking about stupid things. It may influence this space, and believe me, I really like it like this."

After he said that, I watched him slowly open his eyes. His right eye was just like the atmosphere of this space, bunch of colors jumbled together, while his left eye was like any normal looking eye, although the color of the eye was purple.

After some thought, I came to realisation and said.

"You know, I find it weird..."

"What do you find weird? Isn't everything weird here?"

His answer suprised me a little, but nevertheless something you can expect considering who 'it' is.

"True but, you could read my thoughts just now."

"And?"

That is when I smiled a little.

"You said that thoughts can influence space around here, right?"

That is when his eyes widened completely due to suprise, but not to my statement. No, it was because there was humongous meteor descending towards us in quick pace.

"According to my calculations, the meteor should land here in about 2 minutes. Now why don't we talk a little?"

"You know that I can use something similar to counter that meteor, right? Although you suprised me with that meteor, I can counter it just as similarly."

As he said that, he shot his right palm towards the meteor, and ac.u.mulated some sort of energy in his palm in for of a ball that was growing and growing every second.

"Anyway, before I destroy this meteor, tell me what do you want to talk about?"

"If you were able to name someone, lets say a baby, how would you name it?"

"What sort of... You know what, never mind. Can you give me a minute to think?"

"Sure, take your time."

As I said that, a sudden realization came inside my head.

'He looks just like me, but everything is opposite from me. His hair is black, compared to my white, while his clothes are just like mine, expect the robe is black and the clothes under the robe are white. Everything opposite.'

As I was thinking thag, he suddenly moved his towards me and started talking.

"You know, although you know who I am, and I know who you are, the only difference about this is..."

"I know everything about you, and I know that you are 'nameless', now I have the question."

"Why me? You know that I won't tell you my name because I gave you an idea for a name, right?"

"I know, and I don't ask for you to give me your name immediately. I plan to slowly, but surely know your name. Anyway, I asked you since you are essentialy me. I am you, and you are me. We are part of the same thing. I figured it would be best to ask myself how to name myself."

"... You are... an interesting being, you know?"

"Yeah, I figured."

"...Hmph, here is the idea, something about word 'perfect'. Totally opposite of Chaos. How does that sound?"

"... I will see what I can do with that. It is an interesting idea. I thank you."

"No problem, now I think we should end this meeting here."

As he said thag, he shot the ball oc energy from his palm towards the meteor and moved in supersonic speed and in short second it arrived and destroyed the meteor. At the same time, I woke up from my meditation and saw that it was still night.

"My name..."

"My name... shall be... 'Akhil'"

"Now... 'Status'"
