From Slave To Ruler

Chapter 36 - Blood Boiling Revenge!

To break confusion, there isn't only one Arena team that has plots for the opponents, for the enemies. And no. I'm not talking about Arena opponents. But people who although don't have finger in this slavery, are still strong enemies to many ethnicies and civilizations. Remember that one ship of which was sunk at Hay Kingdom? Rumour has it that it was work from the Zamerians, some Guards even swear by it because they saw ropes with the Zamerian mark.

The point of that Sh.i.p.sink is, each of the 5 Bear Bloods in the Red team, lost a close family member in that disaster. Now this same team is plotting against the local Zamerian Chappel! (Not to be confused with the Blue team who has different enemies and plans).

You would ask why they would attack the Zamerian Chapel in Hawk Kingdom, instead of going all the way down to Hay Kingdom instead. Well, a Zamerian is a Zamerian no matter what domain they live on. Also, the Zamerian Chapel in Hay Kingdom is their second Target.

Unlike Tybalt and Aldrich who didn't yet convince the BearBloods in their own team to join that different Revolution, the 5 BearBloods in the red team have straightened out their priorities and are all in for the Revolutionary plan. Even though they had to take stronger risks compared to the Bearbloods in the Blue Team who have meetings in the Toilet. The Red team has taken risks that could have equaled to their exposure, ultimately leading to their beheading. Because even though King Mendebal the VI doesn't have the greatest relations with the Zamerians, he can't do much to protect this group of 5 Bear Bloods if it was made public that they attacked or tried to attack the Zamerians.

"Are you sure we should continue with this plan?" Amber Luke. The last person to join this little rebellion against the Zamerian Chapel. It took a lot of sneaked speeches to convince this lad. Although he found the claims reasonable, he still wanted to take a shot of life here. He is 27 years old after all. Losing his mother in that ship sink, granted him this trauma.

Now, he is way to paranoid, he thinks that everything could kill him. Which is Ironic, because he is in the Arena as a Warrior. Every battle he participates in could literally kill him. Perhaps he doesn't have much trust in his skillset? He is a level 2(Quaker) EarthQuaker. Although he can't really be considered weak, he isn't the strongest of the 5. But he has other thoughts, he looks at himself as target practice after he failed to protect his one remaining family member.

Currently being Level 2(Brutal Fist) in Swordsmanship, he reached the qualifications to fight in the Arena soon, but the Grand Master/Teacher Athendurus Mihura, decided for Amber to train for a bit before he battled with anyone from the opposing teams. Considering that he is 27 years old, he is slightly underleveled in both aspects. Which could be another source of his paranoia.

"Are you kidding? What do you have to lose lad?! Our entire families were burned to death. They are all torched corpses now, without a grave even. Left as cooked food for wild animals! We can not leave this disaster escape unpunished. BearBloods never forgive or forget!" The man who tried to convince Amber Luke, is considered the leader of this revolution.

He convinced all four of them to begin with. His name, Edgar Iron Foot. Rather ironic for him to end up in the Iron Boot Alliance. But his name links to the fact that he lost his right leg in the war between the two Makemis Alliances. His wife and both of his sons died in that ship sink, while another son died in war back in Makemis.

Which is why he fled Makemis in the first place. Losing an Offspring is something that got him weak, a fearless warhead became weak. Deciding that family is to be taken into consideration first, he fled Makemis with them. "Look, I know that EarthQuakers and EarthRippers don't have a good history together, but it's time to stop fighting for land and start fighting for what really matters, our families!" He pointed out as he glanced at the Earth Ripper nearby who was listening to the conversation as he was peeling a boiled potato with his fingers.

"You... you're right! I'm in!" Answered Amber Luke in a bit more confidence. It would be dumb to try and build a life here as a slave. They would rob him out of his coins as soon as they see the opportunity. And Edgar is rather qualified to be their leader considering his skillset. You don't see Level 5(Expert) EarthQuakers very often. Edgar has a big name in Makemis, considered a War Prodigy. Such a fearsome reputation hiding a soft heart behind. At least it was soft, now it's fueled with revenge to the point of a Massacre.

"Add it boy!" Encouraged the EarthRipper closeby. They have a lot of time to train, considering that a battle prodigy like Edgar would be likely first to fight in the Arena, the less experienced will have more time to train and possibly survive a few rounds before the plan reaches its final. A Lethal plan like this can't be built up in one single day.

This EarthRipper however, although less skilled than Edgar, he is considered a valuable Warrior as well. Especially since EarthRippers have more advantages against powerless people, specifically the Kasteremas. Imagine having the Earth Ripped underneath your feet, and you falling in it. What better advantage could one get against these mass killers? He could get some fulfilling Revenge for his burned Brother, the only bit of family he had left.

This man's name, Dominic Bear. A Level 3 EarthRipper(Natural Misfortune) and a level 3 Swordsman(Force). He too is considered rather skilled, especially since he is a 31 year old. War misfortunes and traumas have made him mildly insane, but it works to his advantage in battle more than you think since Fearing an opponent is Erased from his brain, as if it didn't exist. But he is still very considering when it comes to his teammates in revenge. That's why he asked, "Should we wait for the other two to arrive?"

"You know that you can't separate those twins from training no matter how much you ask them. They will be here later and I will fill them in." Pointed out Edgar Iron Foot. He had a few talks with the twins before, and their hearts were boiling in revenge as well, possibly more than Edgar. They agreed before Edgar even finished his offer. They agreed and kindly asked Edgar to go away, since they had to train. Like Aldrich from the Blue team, these twins train around 15 hours a day. Motivated to behead whoever did them wrong. A true force to be reckoned with.

"Then let's start!" Arose Amber with a sudden burst of motivation. Which ended up with him yelling and grabbing attention from a few Ground Tappers who didn't take part in his plan.

"Calm down lad, we don't need unnecessary attention. Keep it low." Told Edgar in a calming low tone. They don't have many people around, but you can't really tell who can be trusted with ethnical discrimination common. They chose it best to discuss such matters in the training room at 10pm.

Why? Well since the Warriors of upper ranks don't stay long after their training schedule is finished at 6 p.m., a lot of Ground Tapper head towards the Dining halls. It's some sort of pride for them if they sit and eat near a table instead of on the Ground. Which works to the team of 5's advantage big time. Because those who doesn't stand up to compete for a spot there, can't be considered a threat here.

"Oh right. Sorry." Sat down Amber in a bit of embarrassment as he rubbed the back of his head.

But although possibly carrying the strongest heartache, Edgar is surprisingly kind towards everyone. Is it possible that he sees these four people as family already? "Don't worry about it son."

Getting back to the point, since he knew that they don't really have enough time considering that they have to be in the sleeping Areas at 10:30 p.m., Dominic had the urge to ask. "So how will we escape this hellhole of an Arena? Which Guards do I need to bury?"

Being here for quite a few days now, Edgar had a lot of time to observe the security game here. And since these fools in Hawk Kingdom don't know Edgar's fame here in Makemis, he had the freedom to explore without having Patrol Guards following him. "Escaping, can be tricky. Because if one Guard yells for Backup, we would be flooded with Patrol Guards. Which could stop our goal and have us killed. Meaning that we can't bury anybody unfortunately." At least he explored enough to come to that fact. All five of these men have key battle advantages and characteristics that would help them fight off bundles of Guards. But how much would they be able to fight before reaching the Chapel?

At this point being very lost, Amber simply decided to ask more about it instead of faking knowledge. He had no clue about the Escape plan. "So how do we escape unnoticed?"

Giving out a slight smirk before he answered. "We go underground." What could Edgar possibly mean by this? A good old fashion, "Digging underneath the walls?" Well these are the medieval times, so we can't call it old fashion. The old fashion is present fashion at this case.

But of course with death paranoia following him, Amber had to point out. "Underground? Wouldn't we be digging our own grave like that?"

Very confident with his teammates and their abilities, Edgar simply replied. "Not with two Earth Rippers by our side!"

Catching on to these rather unique plans, Dominic had to acknowledge the leader about the possible dangers which might rise with this plan. But he too liked the idea. "Oh, I see what you mean. But I'd like to tell you that forming underground tunnels can be dangerous, very dangerous actually. As Amber said, we could be digging our own grave.

Finishing off half of the plan, Edgar stated! "Well then you better be Careful. Because you and one of the twins would be carrying a revolution on your shoulders with this escape!"
