From Wanderer To World Conqueror

Soon, they arrived at the power measurement hall. It was a luxurious house with 8 pillars on each side. The power measuring device stood at the end of the hall. It was a big orb. The system decided to explain how this orb works.

"You have to punch the orb with your full power and it will show a number. Greater power is equivalent with higher numbers."

All eyes were glued on them as soon as they entered. The princess was already famous because of her beauty. As for Attorias, he became famous after the battle against the merchants and he was already famous amongst the girls of the academy. His beauty transcended all mortal levels. Thus, all boys within the academy looked at him with jealous eyes. Especially when he came in with the princess by his side. She was considered one of the top beauties within the academy. The well informed newcomers already knew the truth about the relationship between Attorias and her. The instructor stepped in after a few minutes of waiting.

"Welcome newcomers. I'm the instructor who will help you in this power measurement exam. I will only give one chance for everyone. You have to hit this orb with your full power. The orb will show your power level. We will kick you out of the academy if the number is lower than 200. I will call the students one after another. This is all for now."

The power measurement began right after the explanation of the instructor, however the results were not as good as expected.

Second newcomer: 197

9 newcomers were kicked out in 5 minutes. Now every student felt like the end is near. All of the failed students were of level 8. Level 8 at the age of 17 was already talented. Now it was time to get serious. The proud level 9 youths started to appear and every one of them passed. One of them even got 350 points. He proudly puffed out his c.h.e.s.t then turned towards Attorias.

"Now, this is what real talent is. You should just give me the princess. I didn't fight against you in the fighting contest of the newcomers but I'm sure you can't be stronger than me right now."

This youth wielded an ancient bloodline called the Ancient Panther bloodline. His ancient bloodline was strong without a doubt compared to normal bloodlines, but sadly the Ancient Panther bloodline was still the weakest amongst the ancient bloodlines. The instructor was a high level normal bloodline wielder. Thus, he can see through the likes of this youth with a glance. Mid level 9, ancient bloodline and a presence of a stronger than average spirit weapon.

Then he decided to examine Ramiris from top to foot, however what he saw terrified him. She was early level 10 and had the super strong Valkyrie bloodline along with the presence of a spirit weapon with terrifying power. She was a goddess compared to the level 9 youth, but she still lost to Attorias? The instructor was curious. Thus, he decided to thoroughly examine Attorias. He aimed his eyepowers towards Attorias. Suddenly, his eyes started to hurt. He clearly saw that Attorias reached level 10 but nothing more. As if some ancient power defended his secret. The instructor can't see through him, but still, a tiny bit leaked out of his power and the eyes of the instructor instantly widened in disbelief. That power was just too much. The instructor clearly saw something entirely different from a normal ancient bloodline. He never wanted to see something like that ever again. The instructor only saw a big panther when he saw through the level 9 youth and he also saw the Valkyrie within Ramiris. However, he only saw his own death when he looked into Attorias. The instructor trembled at the sight of the monster within Attorias. In that instant, the system alarmed him.

"Hey, that instructor wanted to check your abilities and I spotted him. Seems like he still saw something fufufu."

Attorias looked at the instructor with piercing but beautiful red eyes. Then smiled. The instructor realized that Attorias saw through him and decided to act as if nothing happened. Then Attorias resumed his talk with the level 9 youth.

"You call that power? I only need to breathe a bit faster against the likes of you. You want my woman? She is way stronger than bugs like you."

Now it was time to test Ramiris. She walked towards the orb then stopped when she was close enough. Her blonde hair floated up as if wind started to form around her body. In an instant, her fists started to glow with white light. Then he punched the orb with all his spirit power. Cracks appeared on the ground and the students almost kneeled in front of her suppressive force. Power: 500

The level 9 youth lost his balance when he saw the numbers. That was too strong. He always thought that he was the number one beginner, but now... he understood the difference between bloodlines and talents. Still, he thought that Attorias was weaker because he can't sense his bloodline thanks to the system and somehow he didn't know about the 1 vs 40 merchant match.

"Okay, I admit that the princess is unparalleled under the heavens, but what about you? I can't even see your bloodline. You must be a weak bloodline wielder."

Attorias almost ran out of breath laughing when he heard this. Even the other students started smiling. They all knew how strong Attorias was.

"Ignorant fool, let me show you what true power is."

Attorias turned into a blur and appeared before the orb. His eyes started glowing with red light while his white long hair floated up. The weaker students instantly passed out while the stronger ones kneeled before him. The level 9 youth almost passed out.

Attorias gathered all of his power within his right fist. Black fog surrounded his fist and wide cracks appeared on the ground. He threw his fist towards the orb. Cracks appeared on the orb then the instructor stopped him.

"Seems like the lower grade orb is not enough here. This orb can't register power level beyond 700. Let's bring in the middle grade orb."
