Chapter 82: The Decision of the Margrave Heine Territory

The door to the guest room opens and a slightly tired-looking father appears. This may be because he has already heard most of what I have to say. There seems to be no need to explain again.

“Your Majesty the King, Maximilian Heine,  has arrived.”

“Sorry about the interruption.”

“No… I was wondering what was going on when our meeting was suddenly interrupted, but I didn’t expect it to turn out like this. I apologize for any inconvenience my son has caused you.”

Father deeply bowed his head. Uh, I’m not the one who’s at fault… it’s Chloe. Chloe will be punished with a pen pen later.

My sister Rosalia is comforting Mira. Father’s eyes were warm when he saw it.  It seems that my father has a soft spot for his daughter.

“It’s not like I’m going to punish you. According to Marth, our holy dragon scholar, magic power is needed to raise a holy dragon. And Julius is the only one here who can send that magic power to the holy dragon efficiently.”

His Majesty the King said so while introducing Mr. Marth.

‘’Is that so?”

“So, I am thinking of welcoming Julius and the holy dragon into the castle, what do you think?”

Hearing this, my father pondered. Please, Father. Please, Father. I’ll take any amount of punishment later. Everyone present turned their attention to him.

“I am very grateful for your kind words, but it has been decided that Julius will be raised in our territory. This is the last will and testament of my mother, Margaret. She wants Julius to become a fine Potions Master in the Margrave Heine domain ……”

Oh, really? I’ve never heard of that story!

“What…! Margaret had already approved Julius as her successor!”

His Majesty the King was surprised by the momentum that he was almost about to stand up.

“I am sure that is true. I would like to ask that this conversation be kept confidential,  but the book of potions written by my mother Margaret has already been passed on to Julius.”

The place was abuzz with excitement. Apparently, no one had ever heard of this story. Everyone’s attention was now focused on me. I don’t know, I feel very uncomfortable.

Among them, only Chloe looked somewhat convinced. We talked a lot when I gave her the elixir. Chloe already knows that I can make magic potions.

“I see. If that’s the case, we can’t just keep him in the castle…”

Yup. Apparently, Rosalia is totally on Mira’s side. She did say she wanted a little brother or sister. I think mother could still give birth to a fifth child. ……

His Majesty the King, seeing such a situation, closed his eyes and nodded one.

“Then, Maximilian, would you do me one favor?”

“Anything.”

“Would you be willing to raise the holy dragon there in the margrave Heine territory? After all, it would be a pity to separate  a child from its parent.”

“Yes, sir.”

The father bowed deeply. It’s settled now. Rosalia and Mira are happily playing with each other. I think Rosalia should be the one to raise them now.

Oh, Chloe, Caro and Her Royal Highness seem to be dissatisfied. Marth-san…….

“Your Majesty, in order to study the holy dragon in more detail, I think I will go to the Margrave Heine territory. May I?”

“Well,…… how about it, Maximilian?”

“I don’t mind. It’s okay, because there might be unforeseen circumstances. It would be reassuring to have an expert on hand.”

“Thank you!”

It seems that I was able to follow along well. The other three were trying to come up with a reason to go with him, but it seemed to be a dead end. Finally, I heard three sighs. Did they like the holy dragon that much? Next time, I’ll give them a stuffed animal of the holy dragon.

Finally, the long day at the castle was over. I think it was a very productive day. I never thought I would end up taking the dragon home with me.

Father sighed. I sigh at my own troublemaking ways, too.

“Right. What were you going to do if something went had happened?”

“…… I see.”

Huh?　You’re convinced, Father? I thought you would be more angry. Rosalia and Mira were looking at us with a worried look.

I patted them on the head to reassure them.

“Come to think of it, I thought Mira could talk?　You see, there was a voice that came directly into my head.”

“Kyu?”

“Speaking of which, you said ‘please’. Did that mean ‘give me magic power’?　Come on, Mira, try saying something.”

“Kyu?”

Apparently not. She was in an egg state at the time, and maybe that was her only special ability at the time. Mira was constantly nodding her head.

When we returned to the townhouse of the Margrave Heine family, we were greeted by the family’s speechlessness.

“What is that lovely creature, dear?”

“It is a holy dragon. Julius will tell you the details.”

Oh, Father is throwing everything at me. Am i that afraid of my mother? Yes, I am. An angry mother is scary. I was so scared that I let it all out quickly.

“So that’s how it was. Chloe-sama was also in trouble. Her Royal Highness said, She’s finally calmed down,’ but that was only on the surface.”

I would like to see Chloe in princess mode. I think she’ll probably blow it on the way out.

Mother looked disappointed, but she was patting mira on her lap. She seemed to like it. Alex and Cain also seemed to be interested in her.

It’s a real dragon, isn’t it? I would have reacted the same way if I hadn’t been involved with them myself.
