Leaving the Blacksmith, Specter with Eternal walked the city and started noticing that there are more people looking around with some even covered their food in their hands as if it will fly away from them as the people scan there surrounding cautiously.

Seeing this Specter can tell that the food stealing Chicken came through here, as he is walking around specter sends out his Mana in waves, the waves will do nothing but become a sonar radar for Specter, anyone can feel the fluctuations from the Mana and track it back to Specter with ease as Specter is not even trying to hide it he sends it out through the city, as the Mana is passing through the city undisturbed there is a picture that formed slowly inside Specters' mind.

The people close to Specter looked at him, and since he is not doing anything wrong but sending mana out the people continue watching around as they eat or go back to on there merry way, As the live feed from the Mana makes a living map of the city, there is a disturbance not far away from the city.

Bursting into a room a man in full armor runs up to another man with armor but with no Hemet, his body is also bigger than normal people, his short brown hair and dark brown eyes almost black. Looks at the Solder that ran into his room.

Commander! There is a beast wave on the way! (Solder)

The Commander raised his brown eyes as they turned sharp as he starts talking.

The scouts brought back information of ten thousand beast wave that will arrive in about five hours. (Solder)

Feeling Mana pass by the commander he looked into the city for a second before continuing his walk to the wall.

A repeatedly Bell rang throughout the city everyone became quiet and after the fourth bell sounds off, all the people became active again, but it's different they are all moving quickly to all the closest building they're close to. Seeing this Specter observed them for a few minutes and in that time the city road became empty of people and now it feels like a ghost city.

Cutting his Mana specter starts Walking through the city yet there is nobody else so Specter gone to the Belltower after a quick thought, walking closer to the bell tower, Specter can here a constant rhythm beat, moving closer to the sound Specter found that it's few hundred guards marching through the city as they moved closer to the center of the city that is also the location the bell tower is at.

Observing them Specter noticed that they broken into smaller teams and spread out in different directions, the soldiers moved through the city like ants spreading out for food.

Seeing this Specter walked up to one of the small group of guards, and as soon as the guards spot Specter they stopped and started talking to specter.

Sir, are you entering the battle? (Guard)

Battle? I'm new to the city can you tell me what is going on? (Specter)

Sir, there is a beast wave on the way you are new to the city so I will quickly explain, you have a city pass, that is used to unlock the Barriers around the city, the reason there are barriers in the first place is that the city is always under attack by beasts. (Guard)

Thanks to the city Lord that he asked a rune Crafters to make the city with Barriers as he got annoyed by how many times destruction happened to the city. The pass let's you open the Barrier and enter it once closed you will be safe from the beast attack we are here to kill the beast that passed the wall, if your not going to be joining the battle it's best to go inside one of the barriers, we need to get back to guarding the city stay safe sir! The guards continue there walking as Specter starts thinking of the chicken.

That chicken is it one of the beasts and it's scouting the city before the attack? (Specter)

Eternal stuck her head out of the hood as she yelled out excitingly as she looked around only to see nothing.

No just talking out loud, the chicken has yet to be found. Hmm? now that there are fewer people in the streets we can find it easier, let get to the top of the Belltower. (Specter)

Looking at the tall bell tower it reminded Specter of the ancient clock tower from earth.

What is the name of that clock tower? So it's not only people names I have forgotten? (Specter)

Shacking his head, Specter looked up to the tower, Specter learned the spell fly from the academy with lots of other spells, once Specter and Eternal got to the base of the tall bell tower, Specter used air magic and flew to the top of the bell tower standing on the roof of the tower overlooking the very city.

The city buildings that are a standard of 3 stories to 6 story buildings scattered across the city with wide roads leading in the four different directions from the bell tower, green trees and soothing breeze the sight is peaceful yet creepy with so little life insight in the big city.

Master, why is the city so leveled yet built on the mountain from the outside it looked like it was uneven yet inside it's so even that its like flat ground? [Echo]

Now that you bring it up it might have been carved this way from the mountain, but doing so would have taken time to do so even with magic. (Specter)

Specter sent out a new wave of Mana that covered the city, as it passed through the city with way fewer people the results are better than expected.

Dropping from the tower Specter starts free falling, feeling the tingling feeling when falling as he free falls for a few seconds before activating Air magic landing softly on the ground and ran to the chicken.

Walking to the chicken, Specter walked stealthily as he can and moved closer to the chicken, as it appeared in sight specter observing it. It's a rooster, with golden feathers, its pecking at some food on the ground with its golden beak. As specter and Eternal is watching and looking for a way to attack it looked up and looked around as if looking for something.

It looked straight at Specter, and its eyes turned sharp as it took the last of the food from the ground at a speed Specter and Eternal are unable to see.

Master, It's faster than last time. [Echo]

Cracks formed on the ground as the ground caved from the speed of the Rooster that vanished from the place.

Pointing to the right, Specter ran that way and soon as he came up to the rooster in the distance he can see it dangling in the air as it moved back and forth like a rubber wall as it struggled to move.

Eternal ran to the rooster and attempted to take the first bite right away, as her mouth closed on it sparks flew out as ear piercing scrapping sounds.

Walking closer as Eternal is now rolling around in the ground with her legs at her mouth as she rolled. Specter walked to the chicken as it attempts to peck him but unable to do so as the web stretched like rubber before snapping back forcing the roosters head to snap back.

Ignoring it's Attack Specter placed his hand on the feathers, as he touched them it actually cut his gauntlet all the way to his finger with ease like butter this shocked him.

Well, that's interestingly unexpected. (Specter)

Healing the cut Specter and a repair spell for the gauntlet, he attempted to used a normal wind blade to cut the head off but failed the first hit leaving not even a cut on the feathers. Specter not giving up made a new air blade this time more Mana making it stronger and bigger but he compacted it smaller one as it can even cut the mountain if used right. Specter sent the blade and this time it went through, and Specter stopping the blade right after cutting the roosters head off, Specter noticed it's not like the normal chicken as it did not jump around and run like a headless chicken normally would but died right there and then also the blood is a glowing red.

Specter starts using an Ice spell and made a few vials out of ice as he carved runes to keep the ice in that form even after stopping his mana that's supplying the form. Using two other spells the chicken flew up away from the web that's been cut using the wind spell, then he used the third spell this let all the blood in the rooster come out and fill the ice vials he just made with a total of 35 vials filled up placed them in his mind space.

Taking the feathers off was a challenge as it can cut anyone with ease, but after using gravity magic spell it was finished quickly and cleanly now its time to have a feast!
