As the soldiers tried to drag David, Dragon sealed his wounds with the nano bots in his blood stream and resisted. Eventually an old man appeared. He ran towards the soldiers and started to shine in gold light as he smashed the soldiers with his b.a.r.e hands. The jeep went flying as the man threw it into the air.

"Execute the target and retreat,". The soldiers started to pull their guns on David but not before a golden shield surrounded him. The soldiers were then executed with impunity by the man as he cleaned up the area. None of the soldiers were left alive.

The man stared at David before speaking," A.I. do you want to be with me?"

{Mission protect host, designation partner David. Request denied}

As A.I. and man stared at each other, the man finally said," Do you want a chance to live in my family then?"

"Mission help partner designated David, request granted,".

As David slumped onto the floor the old man mused," Why does it seem like the A.I. was giving me permission,".

The old man pulled out the knives and dressed the wounds before putting David over his shoulder and walking out of the forest. He was smiling, and yet his eyes were down cast as he hummed a tune in the bright early light of morning.
