The fields around the FOB were flooded with acid. Even Bryan was stuck standing on the walls frying the infested with arc lightning. David's drones were melted into a puddle of ooze on the ground, however he seemed extremely calm. The walls were holding with David adding layers upon layers of DuraSteel onto the wall. The Leviathan seemed strangely quiet. The metal dome had been moved above the FOB with 12 pillars supporting it. The infested seemed to slow down in speed, and their flyers were not in sight.

"I have bad feeling about this,".

"Don't jinx it Bryan,".

A sudden high pitched wailing could be heard. As it grew louder and louder, the pair ran for their lives.

"IT'S GONNA BLOW,".

A desolate crater stood where the FOB had laid. Only the pair who ran for their lives survived.

"That was not part of the plan David. Also was there a need to build that many walls?,".

"I vaguely remember some electro maniac frying aliens Willy nilly,".

"That's different, because I was the only one..."

The unsaid was left unsaid. A second shadow smaller then a ball had appeared over the crater. It grew bigger and bigger.

"It's Teach, I can't believe it actually worked," remarked Bryan.

A Republic styles cruiser started to descend and fire upon the Leviathan at this opportunity. The streamlined croissant started to let loose all of its weapons. Missiles, torpedoes, and lasers lighting up the sky. The main cannon of the Leviathan had already fired at the FOB leaving it at the mercy of Teach until it recharged. The rest of Teach's fleet of 6 destroyers came out of orbit to combat the infested flyers. Infested Drop pods were ejected en masse as the inbuilt hive mind had decided to abandon ship. All seemed lost for the infested until David tapped a button on his com-link.

The Polaris in all her glory, had stopped. Stopped firing at this crucial juncture to finish off the careening Leviathan. As the Republican cruiser grew silent a high pitched noise was heard. It only grew louder and louder.
