Aldarion saw the system messages, but quickly dismissed them. Even though he defeated Adrinû, there were still some soldiers fighting and he couldn't get distracted.

"My lord, you have succeeded..." - Duihir, who had been protecting him throughout the battle, as if it were his shadow, suddenly appeared before him and he spoke almost to the edge of tears.

Aldarion's faithful follower had observed the duel between Aldarion and Adrinû from beginning to end, and, although there was more than one moment in which he wanted to intervene, he managed to repress himself for the sake of his lord. 'This is a battle that he has to overcome by himself' - He said himself continuously.

In the end, Duihir convinced himself and he decided that he would only intervene in the duel if his lord was in a big bind.

When he saw his subordinate coming, Aldarion received him with a sad smile. A smile for victory, and sad because, although they were avenged, their brother and compatriots were already dead and they would not come back to life.

"Yes Duihir, we have avenged them..." - He managed to tell his subordinate.

Suppressing tears for the excitement of having achieved the goal and that everything was orc.h.e.s.trated by what was his current lord, Duihir was recomposed and began to inform him.

"My lord, all the enemy forces are retreating, they are more fleeing in terror. The Lord of Belegost has mobilized his troops and initiated a persecution. Should we do the same? "

Aldarion spent a few seconds saying nothing, while assimilating all the information. After thinking for a while I speak. - "No, they will be enough, and as far as we know, Cirdan's cavalry should already be very close, they could finish the job."

"So what should we do?" - Duihir asked.

"Reorganize the men and secure all the exits of the camp, then, together with the remaining men, you look for a survivor and plunder the camp." - Aldarion ordered calmly.

"As you wish, my lord." - Duihir said goodbye while bowing and took two dunedains with him.

'Now, I should look in Adrinû's tent. I could find some important clue, or something of value.' - With this, Aldarion called two other men who were nearby and he told them to accompany him.

Aldarion sent one of his men to check the trunk, while he checked the desk and the remaining dunedain watched the entrance.

The dunedain who reviewed the trunk informed Aldarion that there was nothing of value or that he could provide information.

Aldarion was a little disappointed, but at least he had more luck than his subordinate, because, although he did not find any paper that could give him information, apart from a map of the area, he did find something odd on the table.

Aldarion realized that something was missing, an object, because, on the table, he found a hemispherical shaped slit, about the size of a soccer ball. Thinking about something and without saying a word, Aldarion told the dunedain to stand guard and search the entire store.

The two began to spin very slowly and watching everything. Suddenly the guard let out a scream and, from under the bed, he pulled out a man.

"Don't resist!" - He ordered the dunedain and, seeing that he could not do anything against the force of the dunedain, the man stopped struggling.

The dunedain forced him to kneel, and holding his hair, he looked up to look Aldarion in the face.

"Look what we have here. What's your name?"- Aldarion approached him and asked without showing any feelings, which scared the man most. But he said nothing and he just looked at Aldarion as if he had given up and he knew he was going to die.

"Sir, I consider myself quite fair and civilized. If you answer my questions honestly, you can leave and have a second chance in life. Do you understand?"- The man simply nodded, with a face of fear, but with renewed hope.

"I-I'm Kâin, it was Adrinû servant. So I know things, if you don't kill me, I'll tell you everything."- He replied with difficulty due to his fear. - "Please, I'm not a warrior, mercy."

"Quiet, as I said, if you answer all my questions with sincerity, there will be no problem in leaving you alive." - Aldarion told him to reassure him and paused. - "Very well Kâin, Adrinû said that he was a pawn, what did he mean by that? What do you know?"

"About that, a few years ago Adrinû was nobody, he was just an inhabitant of my tribe, in the cold north. He was normal, it is true that, from time to time, he showed some ambition, but he would never dare to do something. Being from the same tribe we knew each other, and we even related a lot. I think we could consider ourselves friends. But one day a man appeared before him, the man said he could help him. Adrinû of course did not believe him and simply dispatched him, at first clear. The man came repeatedly, until one day, I don't know how he convinced him, but Adrinû challenged the chief of the tribe to a duel for the job and he emerged victorious."

"What did that person look like?" - Aldarion interrupted.

"I don't know, he was always covered with a black cape with a hood. I just know that he looked thin and about your height." - He replied.

"Well… continue." - Since he didn't think he was lying, Aldarion urged him to continue.

"After that, as I am intelligent, Adrinû made me his right hand and he always asked me for advice. There were many times when I suspected there was something strange, because I don't know how we could win many of the battles. We were just a small tribe without power. After becoming powerful, Adrinû began to expand more and more, faster and faster. The rest you know." - I finish explaining the scary man.

When he finished speaking there was a silence in the room, and after a few seconds thinking Aldarion finally spoke. - "Okay, I believe you, you don't seem to lie."

"S-so, can I go?" - the man asked hopefully.

"Not so fast, I still want to ask you something else. Where is the object that should be on the table?" - Aldarion threw his last question and, to hear it, Kâin's face twitched a little.
