Gate: War Of Two Worlds

The attack came out of no where, none of the sentries that were on the wall noticed a small sneak attack. Some of the bandits were able to get on the wall, distracting the city militia, allowing the main force to advance against the east gate uncontested.

Vanguard will be rushing to the gate after hearing the battles.

"Sergeant Major, take Alicia and guard the gate. Everyone else with me, we got to hold the wall." Major Sharpe orders over his radio.

Everyone acknowledges his order and split up into the assigned teams.

It will take some time to get back to the wall as many of the townsfolk are getting in the way.

The sun is only be peaking back up. It was surprising that they attacked this early. The nights on this world are dark, they must of have some way to see in the dark that we do not know about.

Once they get to the stairway that leads up the wall, the situation looks like its falling apart. This bolt of light would appear from the crowd of attackers.

Sharpe group finally gets up on the wall and take cover by the pillars. They begin opening fire on any bandits tried to attack them.

"Holy shit, that is a lot of them." Staff Sergeant Andrew Steele comments, looking past the wall.

Sharpe looks to where Andrew is staring at and his eyes will widen from the sight. There must be thousands of them, far more then he expected. He will be able to see where that bolt of light came from. It came from one of the of the soldiers in the back, must be a magic user like Lelei.

Honestly he did not even think about that, fighting a magic user. Sharpe wonders what else might be out there.

"Scott, hold this position and provide cover." Sharpe orders. Scott is the team weapons support, using a M240 machine gun.

And then Sharpe rush down the wall, Steele right behind him. Fighting is happening all along the wall as more and more bandits keep climbing up these latter's. They must of set them up during the sneak attack.

To their right one of the militia men would get hit by a arrow, following over the wall.

"Stay away from he edge, slay low. Don't get sniped." He will say.

After the two of them take out three other bandits, Sharpe give the hand single to Steele, each tossing a fragmentation grenade down the two close latter's. Once that was done they could hear screws of people dying after the small explosion.

"Alright, we will work our way down and frag these bastards." Sharpe will say.

Steele nods as he shots his M4A1.

Before they could do anything, they will hear Scott yell 'Incoming!'

Both of them looks out and then see this large bolder flying through the air at them. They will jump for cover as the bolder hits the wall, casing some damage to the wall.

"WHAT THE F.U.C.K WAS THAT!" Steele yells, confused on what just happen.

"Don't think about it and get back in the fight." Sharpe tells him, getting on one knee. He would be force to use his rifle as a shield as one of the Bandits that's one the wall tried slaying him. That is when he would be split in half in front of his eye by this large halberd.

"No dying on me Major." Rory says to him in a flirtish tone and then wink at him. She hold out her hand and help him up.

Sharpe looks at her hand and takes it, being pulled up. Both of them look at each other in the eyes, giving a respectable nod to each other.

Right then another bolder is flying through the air and smashes the wall again, taking out a mix group of militiamen and bandits.

Seeing that, Rory will laugh and then charge forward, slashing anyone in her way. Blood and body parts being spraying all around as she cuts them down.

Sharpe stands there watching, never seeing anything like that before. "Note to self, never be on her bad side." He says to himself as he rise his rifle and covers Rory.

The fighting seems to be stabilizing until he sees another bolder flying through the air. This bolder will be different, seeming to be glowing by some kind of magical spell. This time it will hit the gate, smashing it wide open. Sharpe stands there as he watches hundreds of them charge through the broken gate.

The Bandits all will charge through the quickly made barricades that were set up. Sounds of screaming and dying can be heard as both sides clash down below.

Sharpe will then hear that young knight from before yelling at the fleeing militia. "Don't run, hold this wall! Cowards! Fight!... ahhh!."

The city militia begins to flee for their lives, after seeing the young knight be stab through the c.h.e.s.t. As he looks down to see what is happening, two bandits grab him and toss him over the wall, falling to his death.

As everyone watched as that young knight get executed, the people of Italica begins to lose faith that they can hold the wall. Sharpe notices that and see the militiamen abandoning the wall from the overwhelming force. The men on the ground giving ground, on the verge of breaking.

He will then see Rory jump down from the wall and land in the middle and begins fighting them. But she is outnumbered, no way she could take them on alone. Even if she could, they are still pouring through the gate and over the wall.

Seeing this, Sharpe then rushes off the wall and quickly get to the barricade. Once he got down there, he sees both Randy and Alicia firing their weapons into the enemy crowd. But he will also see the towns militia running away.

He rush to what is left of the defensive line. "HOLD THE LINE, HOLD THE LINE HERE!"

Rory just laughs as she slashes her halberd, killing five bandits.

This big man with a axe will appear behind her, yelling as he swings his ax down at her. But then she will appear to his side.

Rory just giggle that the man thought he could kill her and then wink at him, cutting his head right off his body.

She looks at the large mass of bandits in front of her. Some seem to be scared of her but other feeling way over confident will eager for them to attack.

"WE CAN TAKE HER IF WE ALL ATTACK! CHARGE!" One of them will say, clearing acting as one of their leaders.

That is when a large horde of bandits rush towards. She will slash as some of them, slashing off their arms, legs off and other body parts. She sees two more of them by her side, ready to strike. That is when both of them will die from bullet rounds.

Rory looks over to see who shot them and sees Alicia. She is yelling as she stables another of them with a knife that is on the barrel of her weapon. She will pull out her pistol and right over Rory head, killing another.

Rory looks at her and smile. Alicia will see Rory smiling and smile back at her. Both give each other a nod and begin killing everyone around them.

Randy rushes over to Sharpe. "Sir, we are being overrun. Do we retreat?"

Sharpe looks at him. "There is no where to retreat. There's thousands of them out there." He will then look out and he watch's as the two girls kill everyone around them.

"They have the center cover, gun down anyone on the flanks. We must hold here." Sharpe orders.

Both of them will stand by the barricade, shooting anyone trying to flank both Alicia and Rory.

Another bolder will hit the wall.

"Andrew, get back here!" Scott yells as he let lose a rain of bullets on the bandits chasing him.

Andrew rushes back to where Scott is. Once he got the, he takes cover by some barrels and open fire at the bandits.

Both of them will keep on fighting. Even with their advance weapons, hundreds will still be swarming the wall. A stray arrow hit Scott in the helmet, making him fall on his a.s.s.

"SCOTT!?" Andrew will look behind him, checking up on him aw he still trying providing cover.

"I am ok! Damn that hurt." Scott says, feeling up his helmet with his hand. The arrow didn't hurt him but the impact was still hard.

That is when both of them will hear this loud roar. They will look over the wall edge and see this massive troll charging. It will jump and land on the wall, its hands grabbing the edges. It will begin pulling itself up, working on getting over the way.

Both of them will look in horror, trying to figure out what to do with a beats like that.

It will see them and let out another loud roar as it lifts a large axe, planning on striking the two Rangers.

Right then, the troll will explode, sending a shock wave knocking them both over.
