~ RECAP ~

I ended the phone call and sighed. I don't want to listen to their sweet quarrel...but somehow, I'm kinda envious. They always fought but look how strong their relationship is. *sigh* This is bad. This is not totally me. I sat on the couch again while raising my left leg on the couch. I can't just sit here and wait until everything will go back to normal because it might not happen. I need to fix this now. I get my phone in my pajamas and dialed her number. I will call her. I should have done this before.

*door opens*

"Uwaaa! That was close. Why didn't I brought an umbrella?" I heard someone said on the entrance door. I immediately turned my head at the front door and saw the woman that I really want to see right now.

"Yana..." I said while looking at her. She's here. She's really here! I'm not dreaming, right?

RYOSUKE YAMADA's POV

"Ryosuke...! You startled me. What time did you came back?" She asked while drying herself using her handkerchief. She's soaked maybe because of the rain. I walked towards her then pulled her and hugged her as tightly as I could. S-she's real!

"Ryosuke..." She said while I was hugging her and again, my tears escaped in my eyes.

"Are you for real?" I said while hugging her. I saw her put down her groceries on the floor and hugged me back.

"What are you saying? Of course, I am." She said sweetly then hugged me tightly. Finally, my wife is here. I can finally fix this. I distant myself to her and hold her hands while looking at her.

"I-i---" I was about to say something when...

"Oka-san!!!" I heard Ren shouted. Chotto matte, Ren is here.

"Ren." We both said in unison and immediately went to his room. I opened the door for Yana and she came in first. I just stay outside for a while and listen. Well, I don't know what to feel and say but... For some reason, my son is not that close to me. I don't know why but that's what I feel. *sigh* I brush my fingers through my hair. What am I thinking?

"Ren! Doushite?" Yana asked. I just leaned on the wall while putting my hands inside my pocket and listen to them.

"Oto-san left us. He said, he won't come back anymore!" He said while crying. I arched my brows. What?

"Calm down, Renny. It was just a dream." Yana said while calming him.

"B-but, oto-san is not here anymore." I heard him said that made me walk inside his room. I saw Yana sitting on his bed while Ren is hugging her when I called him.

"Ren..." I said. I saw Yana and Ren looked at me.

"Oto-san!" He said as I sat beside him.

"Stop crying. You're a big boy now, right?" I said as I talk to him. I saw Yana looked at me and shook her head while Ren hugged her tightly. What? Did I just said something bad?

"B-but, you don't love us anymore!" He said while still crying. What is he saying?

"No, Ren. Don't say that..." Yana said while wiping Ren's face using her handkerchief but he still continues to cry. Maybe I was a little bit stern just for a moment.

"Come, Ren. I'll tell you something." I said more calmly while calling him. I saw Yana looks at him and brought him to me. Ren sat on my l.a.p while he looks down. Doushite?

"No matter what happens, my love to the both of you will never change, Ren." I said as I hugged him. Honestly speaking, I'm hurt. I didn't expect him to say that.

"B-but you d-don't play with me anymore." He said in a very low voice and that hits me. Now I understand... Now I finally understand why my son is very distant to me. I hugged him tightly while l started to cry. I couldn't help but smiled bitterly. This was all my fault.

"S-sorry..." I said while hugging him. He's still crying that makes my heart torn into pieces. Ren becomes like this because of me. My son become so far away from me because I made him like this.

"Ryosuke..." Yana said and was about to say something when I held her hand and looked at her. All of this happened because I made a bad move...a wrong move. My heart ached when I also saw my wife crying. S*****! I promised to treasure her... I promised to give her everything and make her the happiest woman living...but what did I just did?

"Sorry for making you sad, Ren." I said and kissed his head. I turned to looked at Yana and saw her smiled at me while still crying. I wiped her tears and held her hand again.

"I'm sorry." I told her. She just nodded and hugged me and Ren. This is what I was about to lose. I don't think I can take that.
