Reo knew that Xiao Ning'er would be training somewhere in these grounds and kept searching for her till dawn but to no avail, he couldn't find her. He remembered that according to the original plot she must have been training hard because she was not even able to reach Bronze rank 1, but due to his influence, she as a noble was well fed with some rare pills that were available from the alchemist association.

She was even a bronze rank 2 now so it looked like she doesn't train in the grounds. Reo thought about it and sent a secret letter to Xiao Ning'er through one of his servants.

Ning'er got the letter which explained how he has seen the arctic disease when they were in class and it couldn't escape his eyes since he was an alchemist grandmaster and very proficient in medicine. As a classmate, he explained to her that the daoyin arts must be used to remove the disease or it could soon cripple her or make her die.

Ning'er now knew the name of the disease and the cure so she searched for a whole week without anyone knowing how to cure it nor did she find a clue about the technique. The pain from her bruises was also getting unbearable lately and was spreading through her body little by little. She finally tossed aside her cold attitude and went over to ask for reo's help.

Reo knew that she couldn't contain herself and the only odd variable was Nie li who could cure her other than him, but Nie li was busy training was not bothered at all since he had no actual connection with Ning'er. And finally, Ning'er relented and made her way to reo's courtyard where reo has instructed her to come so reo can treat her.

Reo explained to her that he has to touch the part of her body where it was bruised and massage it so that he can circulate his soul force using the daoyin technique. Since Ning'er came all the way she didn't wanna go back empty handed with the pain and reluctantly showed her foot which was bruised badly. Reo could finish the treatment in a minute with the [Sky Poison Pearl] , but that would cause suspicions so he started his serious acting to also use some herb mixture which energizes the skin to be applied before he massaged her foot and after a full 15 minutes were over with a lot of sweat covering his pale face he used the [Sky Poison Pearl] to purify her foot off the arctic disease.

Leaning on his back he lay rested so he could catch his breath for some time. Ning'er was astonished when her foot got healed and was happy about it. But looking at reo who used so much of his energy to cure her without asking in anything in return which made him get so tired that he had a pale face. She felt the ice in her heart slowly becoming warm and her heartstrings were being tugged.

Reo put on a act so good to hide the presence of his treasure that made ning'er slowly drop her cold personality before him. He asked her whether any other places were bruised which made her blush red on her face. she slowly nodded, reo saying that the arctic disease must be cured as a whole he resumed his acts and treated the various parts of her body which were bruised. Ning'er was blushing so hard that her almost full face was red , she was having a myriad of thoughts going down her mind.

The treatment was finished after another hour treating four more bruised spots. Reo explained that it was not over and he had to do this 2 more times with 3 days gap so he can fully Purge the arctic disease out of her body and she must not cultivate at night because it gathers the Ying qi(Cold Force) into her body.

Right now reo was a little tired doing all that acting made him pale and he said he had to rest and that Ning'er should go home to rest. Ning'er seeing that the treatment was over and hearing that she got to meet reo again in 3 days was originally happy while blushing and embarrassed thinking about the places reo was going to touch. She helped him lay down on his bed and wiped his sweat off his face before leaving with the best smile on her face she ever had since childhood. If anyone saw her now they would think she was a goddess since her smile was so radiant and her skin was glistening so much. Well, all of that had to do with reo since he applied the herbs mixture for the beautification of the skin.

Ning'er was now conflicted with her feelings because she was Shen Fei's Fiance ( He is the son of the patriarch's brother and is the eldest of his generation) but she had feelings for reo. If it was a normal boy, she wouldn't think about it much and try to approach him. But Reo was a prodigy in alchemy, the strongest kid in class and also a noble of the three great families while she was just the daughter of the patriarch of a middle-level aristocrat family. She didn't have qualifications to chase him and was bound to her family like a caged bird.
